I had a prostatectomy recently carried out by Dr Ashrafi. Amazing job. The robotic surgery was very effective. I lost very little blood and the nerves were avoided. I healed quickly and only needed two nights in hospital. He works miracles. Can’t recommend more highly.

Attention to detail from Dr Ashrafi was excellent and reassuring. Had a problem with expired referrals for ultrasound and blood test. I was assured that new ones would be texted to me but it didn’t happen so I had to travel to the Calvary Adelaide to sort it it out, which happened.

Very impressed with the quality of care and heartfelt support for my husband. I would trust Dr Ashrafi with his life. Thank goodness for this man and his staff I am forever grateful.

When my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancelled it was recommended by the urologist we initially consulted that he undergo a robotic prostatectomy. On researching the procedure we were very concerned that recovery would be too challenging due to other health issues. I therefore contacted Dr Ashrafi and we were delighted that he felt the condition could confidently be managed with monitoring and medication.

After two years the disease is under control and we are relieved we sought a second opinion. Dr Ashrafi has a very caring but relaxed manner and is a great communicator who listens as well as advises. His staff are also very professional and welcoming.

I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending Dr Ashrafi to anyone in need of urology services.

Dr. Lin explained in detail what the surgery entailed and the procedures regarding my recent prostate laser surgery. He is very highly recommended and provided excellent aftercare. The surgery was very successful, and I cannot thank him enough, as it has changed my life.

I have been VERY fortunate to have Dr Lin as my urologist. When my PSA reading began to spike in January this year, Dr Lin immediately recognised that I had a serious cancer (it was finally found to be grade 5, Gleason score 9, so his initial concerns were proven correct). He knew time was critical & had all the necessary tests done as soon as was possible. The prostate was out less than 2 months after the problem was recognised, giving the cancer minimal time to spread. His expert surgery skills obtained clear margins all round with the follow-up PSA reading being 0. His professionalism & diligence achieved a minor miracle. He was very easy to talk to & answered any questions. I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr Nick Brook is very experienced, full of knowledge, and a very compassionate person. I’ve been struggling with kidney issues since birth and I can confidently say Dr Nick is one of the best urologists I’ve ever met. I’ve had three kidney surgeries with him over the past month and from the first appointment I knew I’m in good hands! He explained everything many times, discussing every single detail with me so I was completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. Before every surgery, he would have a chat with me just outside the operating room, calming me down and answering all of my endless questions.

My biggest regret is that I didn’t find this urologist earlier as I’ve had numerous problems over the past 10 years and saw another urologist which I began to doubt after all the problems I was having. After recommendation from my friend who had been cared by Dr. Brooks I decided to see him, to get a second opinion on a major surgery recommended by my old urologist.
He actually cared about my situation and thoroughly investigated the problem I was having by beginning with past history to the present situation. I approached Nick Brook with some concerns following the after effects of a Vasectomy I had in a different country. He patiently listened to my concerns, and was able to put my mind at rest, with no further treatment required. Dr fuller is one of the best Doctor in Adelaide. However, his secretaries are the worst service ever get( they take very long time to get back to you in regarding to your questions ) we know Dr Andrew fuller is very great in getting back to you.

They changed my appointment at short notice with a text message. Forced to use their preferred radiologist. I was referred with a very specific condition, yet still passed from one Doctor to another in the same business. Resulting in too many unnecessary and expensive appointments. One doctor ending an appointment by picking up his phone and checking his messages.

Worst possible service from any professional service provider I have experienced so far. Takes 20 minutes to go through their bad triaging system to speak to anyone. The person I spoke to can’t even find my file. I don’t as referred to this clinic 16 days ago and they didn’t even have a courtesy to let me know if they are want to see me as a patient or not. I have to chase them up to find out where my referral is at. Do not waste your time and $ here they simply do not care

Reception desk employees are terrible – impatient, rude, self-centered. If you wish to waste your afternoon because of the admin worker rolling her eyes when you politely ask her to repeat a sentence, or who starts getting loud and talking over you in frustration – go ahead and book yourself an appointment through ST Urology.

I highly recommend the team at South Terrace Urology. Dr Fuller has wonderful bedside manner, is extremely thorough and explained everything I required so clearly.

In straight terms, saved my life. Tells you how it is right from the diagnosis, suggested a treatment plan and over 2 years on am fit and healthy, no words could explain my gratitude for this brilliant specialist dedicated to saving and prolonging life. Forever grateful.

Don’t even waste your time seeing Denby Steele, Rude and makes you feel like you’re wasting his time. Wasn’t interested that my father has prostrate cancer and I was seeing him as a precautionary check over. Major God Complex and needs to be held accountable for his delivery and demeanor.

Expect poor time management from Dr Steele. Despite booking an appointment, the wait time was in excess of 30 minutes. Time management is a basic clinical skill and your time should also be respected. However it has to be noted that wait times in other private practices also exceed what’s normal. You can also expect a healthy dose of arrogance and condescending questioning if your health concern is somehow vague or obscure to Dr Steele. Once you have overcome the above, you will be provided with a clear and evidence based opinion on where to go next. To an extent… as Dr Steele may also suggest an invasive procedure despite there being no history of symptoms that would warrant going in that direction. It would also be wise to request or just close the door behind you as your enter. Dr Steele has a tendency not to keep his patient conversations private so while you are waiting for your appointment in the waiting room, you may hear another fellow patient’s story including their treatment, previous procedure and how they are going. Respecting your privacy is your basic medical privilege. So, good luck!

Dr. Peter Penkoff has been an outstanding specialist Surgeon during my recent prostate cancer diagnosis. His approach, advice and follow up has been nothing short of exemplary. A comfort has been, his quick attention to results as well as questions we have had as a couple. We are fortunate to have him here in South Australia. We highly recommend Peter.

Peter’s bedside manner was bizarre and rude. He was very late to my appointment that I had taken time off work for, then was profoundly unhelpful and seemed like he couldn’t wait to get me out the door, of course taking my over $200 appointment fee happily. His laptop started blasting music while he was examining me and he seemed very tickled by it-taking minutes fumbling around trying to stop it and giggling when he could have just closed the lid as I was lying naked and feeling vulnerable. Despite apparently being a reputable urologist he could not recommend a single surgeon in the field that could help me and gave me recommendations for, of all things, hand surgeons but at least they had operated on his kids and he promised they were “good guys”??? AVOID, plenty of more caring, less odd urologists around. We deserve better than this, especially for the price.

I Found Dr Peter Penkoff – Urology Health Adelaide to be extremely professional in my time and medical process with him. Peter was very informative and honest with the medical process I was to undertake and advised me fully of all outcomes that could/may happen. Peter answered all my questions and concerns on the medical process in a manner that was clear and understandable to me. Peter’s medical and administration team were also very professional and assisted me with any inquiry.

Had a Radical Prostatectomy in February 2024 , had a lot of trepidation as it is major surgery. Dr Penkoff skilfully conducted the operation with a great outcome for myself.My experience during the operation and the care given in my recovery at the hospital was great and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Penkoff , as he is a expert in the field of urology .Thanks Dr Penkoff

Dr Titus saw me when there was a question about PSA levels getting elevated. I was seen very promptly, biopsy done soon after, and on in the system at the RAH straight away. He is a highly competent and experienced medical specialist, explains things clerly, and doesn’t mess around.! Unlike many he also visits regional areas, which is a huge benefit for remote patients, and a big commitment by him. He’s of immense value to our state, and we’re so fortunate to have such talent working with us.

My husband had a procedure under Dr Titus and has been very happy with it. Dr Titus was always happy to answer any questions and his staff at the front desk and on the phone were brilliant to work with. Although we got a shock at first with the price of the procedure to be paid in advance, the Finance Manager at Dr Titus office was able to walk us through how to claim from Medicare and our Private Health to get the best financial outcome.

I had a Skype appointment with dr Titus. I had previously had a urine flow test. He was very rude and plainly stated I didn’t need a surgeon etc. I ended the Skype.
He did call me and apologise the next ( Saturday morning) day . I had an impromptu phone appointment at that time, then had urine tests to check if I had sny issues.
I rang his office to ask about details of another scheduled Skype appointment, and his receptionist was near blunt and not particularly helpful. I’m not willing to pay people that don’t treat patients/customers better than that , so will presume my tests didn’t reveal anything bad ! I don’t deem it necessary to pay for and tie up a doctor’s time if it’s not necessary, and certainly not when I receive unsatisfactory treatment.

Charges exorbitantly and talks a lot (mostly about his own family and problems). Claimed a 100% success rate for Brachytherapy treatment for Prostate cancer, but I 8 years after my treatment, I still have Prostate Cancer. I am thinking of requesting back the $8,000 I had to pay up-front for this failed procedure.

Late 2022/early 2023 I was diagnosed with ‘Aggressive Prostate’ cancer PSA 11.9 and thanks to Dr. Jehan Titus performing the treatment “BRACHY therapy” – today –06/12/2024, a PSA of 0.07 I feel great and thankful,fully recommend this procedure. Don Mitchell/Berri

Was referred by my local GP . Over three appointments, cystoscopy and pathology came up with a missed diagnosis of bladder cancer. Would I recommend this specialist? Absolutely no way . Ask your doctor to refer you to someone else who is competent. Didn’t care apart from being paid
before I left the the rooms. Speak to me before you see this Doctor and save your life . If I could give this review minus 5 stars I would.
I would also go as far to say this doctor was incompetent. Totally rude and was just interested in being paid before I left . Stay away

Very happy with level of compassion and prompt and effective manner he dealt with both urgent and non urgent situations. Admired and greatly appreciated his confidence to offer alternative (not more profitable!) options that ended up with excellent results.
