He explained just about everything there was to know about bikes and all the differences. It was clear he knew his stuff and was an expert in the field. There was no pushy sales tactics, no up selling and no pressure to buy from them. I decided to purchase through Bike Society and the sale process was quick, easy and smooth. From the start of the engagement the team was responsive and communicative. The bike was ordered in very rapidly and setup for me with my details ready to go. But it didn’t stop there. When I went in to collect the bike they gave me the opportunity to test the settings and make changes. Bought a Specialized Turbo Vado SL today. Just what I was after, quality brand, hybrid type commuter that’s pretty lightweight. After looking at cheaper brands, glad I went with a fully serviced brand that has a strong after sales service. Worth that little extra bit of money.

The service department did a great job in repair and service of my Reid mixte bike.
The bike now runs smoothly and has no problem with the front brake.
I have gone on a few Linear Park River rides from my home location to the city with no problems. Thanks for the good work.

Excellent efficient service. New brake bads provided quickly with no fuss.
Rather pricey at $40 for front and rear pads but what isn’t nowadays.
Maybe I should have just replaced the squealing front pads.
Ah well. Live and learn.

Martin provides a fantastic service. He dropped my bike at my city hotel without a hitch, and as my the first day of my booking was just an eveningbike collection; without my asking he said he would pick up the bike a day later to give me an extra day of riding. He provided great information on where to ride (as this was my first time riding in Adelaide). Pick-up was also seamless. I would unreseveredly recommend Adelaide Bike Hire to anyone who is unable to bring their own bike on an Adelaide trip and is keen for a ride!

The cycling was awesome! We cycled about 52km in a loop from Campbelltown to Hanley beach. Great cycling routes for beginners too!

We loved biking in the Adelaide Hills. Very challenging, because we Dutchies are used to ride on flat tracks, haha! The BMC bikes were great and helped us to climb the Hills. Martin is very friendly, helpful and flexibel. So, if you want to rent a good bike, contact Martin!

We hired two flat bar bikes from Martin who was friendly and easy to deal with. He delivered the bikes on time and picked them up on time too.
The bikes themselves were fantastic, easily the best hire bikes we have ever used. The bike trails in Adelaide were lovely. We have no hesitation in recommending Adelaide Bike Hire and hope to visit Adelaide again so we can try out more rides!

I’ve just finished a five day rental with Adelaide Bike Hire and thought others might like to know how it went. Superb!
We rented two bikes in Adelaide for a day trip to the beach, then a four day self-supported biking holiday to McLaren Vale. Martin took our sizing requirements and arrived with two bikes that were well-sized for us. These were new bikes and comfortable to ride with ~16 gears, city bike tires great for road and River Torrens path riding, rear rack and panniers, plus helmet, lock, pump, tools and patch kit.
I know the tools etc all work because I rode over a drywall screw the second day — I had the bike up and running within 15 minutes due to excellent equipment.
Service was excellent in that Martin delivered and picked up bikes to our hotel in Adelaide. He customized the sizing on delivery. And he had brought maps for our trip, which he highlighted to show the paths we should likely take on the tour we had planned. He’s knowledgeable about the area and clearly rides it himself. And coordinating pickup was easy — Martin’s a joy to work with.
Next time I’m in Adelaide I’ll definitely rent again with Adelaide Bike Hire.

SA E-bikes provided excellent service for our group of 6 girls traveling the Shiraz trail. We had a fabulous time as the bikes were so easy to use and very powerful so we could relax and enjoy the scenery and the wines. Thank you for a fabulous day.

Awesome ebikes and service at SA eBikes in McLaren Vale at the visitor centre. I already had a bike for myself but needed one for my 150cm wife. The team here know what they are doing and know their bikes well. They take the time to fit you to the correct bike for where you intend to ride and explain everything in detail. They also go out of their way to give you sightseeing tips and look things up on the map for you.

We ended up doing a 50km loop on the Shiraz Trail, up Old Willunga Hill Road (Tour Down Under fame) and then around Range Road coming down Wickham Hill Road and back to the Shiraz Trail via some wineries. This route was fantastic and almost zero traffic on a Sunday around 11am. Word of advice, we did try to cross Victor Harbor Rd after Old Willunga Hill to get to a local cherry farm however the traffic was non stop (seemed worse than an Indonesian town) and there was no getting across so we headed back on Range Road to the east and it was pure bliss!

If you’re in the area and need a bike then book in online with them. My wife left me in the dust up Old Willunga Hill and I’m no slouch!

I called early today to find out when I could get a tube replacement, and was told to bring it in and they would fit it in over the next day or so. I went straight from work with my bike and they said if I was prepared to wait 15 minutes, they’d do it right now. I’m hugely impressed by the service and the friendly nature of all the staff who I encountered whilst waiting. That’s the way to make happy customers.

This bicycle shop/workshop is really good and highly recommended! We have been bike touring around the world for 10 months and have had to have a few things replaced and repaired. Abraham really knows his stuff and knew exactly what to do. We got almost everything directly from him and otherwise he could have reordered parts at any time. We are super satisfied and relieved to have finally found someone with knowledge and expertise after a long time.

Great bike shop and service centre. Kind of a warehouse set up very cool solid range of bikes and ebikes that you wont see in the other local bike shops. Excellent service very knowledgeable and great coffee too . I’ll be back for sure.

What a wonderful experience I had going to Treadly. The team will do anything to help you with your needs. From purchasing a bike to getting some repairs on your current ride, they will literally break their back for you.

Abe, the head mec knows his stuff. Trust me, if he recommends something, listen to him and get those parts ou repair done, you won’t regret it.

David, the owner, is there for the community and will be keen to have a talk with you about anything. You have a question he will do anything in his capacity to answer them and direct you.

Daz and Tim, the two other mecs are super knowledgeable , they spread good vibes and will welcome you with the biggest smiles .

We four friends from Brisbane had a magnificent day cycling around the McLaren Vale yesterday.

Mark set us up on our bikes and off we went. We felt comfortable almost immediately and had a marvellous time up and down lanes and in and out of wineries. The scenery was so beautiful matched by a superb day. It’s the only way to go around this area.

We absolutely recommend Deluxe Ebike tours Even if you are a complete novice on a bike. It’s so easy and they feel so safe….and it’s fun.

We had such an amazing day cruising around on our e-bikes thorough McLaren vale! We came down for a hens weekend from Noosa and it was so fun to explore the region on e-bikes! We hired the bikes and did our own tour without a guide but mark gave us a map and recommendations on where to go. We took the cycle track so we could avoid cars and it was such a nice way to feel amongst McLaren vale! Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic experience! We arranged an easy pickup of the e-bikes with Mark in the heart of the McLaren Vale. He gave us a full run down of how the bikes worked then we were on our way. The e-bikes themselves were reliable, quick and turned heads! We’ve been on other self guided tours in the area before on push bikes and can safely say we will never revert back to the traditional way. Would recommend Deluxe E-bikes if you’re considering doing something similar in the McLaren Vale, great value for money, 10/10

We had a wonderful day using deluxe e-bikes. The bikes were comfortable, easy to use and great for the terrain! Mark was great, very responsive and easy to communicate with 🙂

I had a great experience renting a bike from here! The daily rental was very reasonably priced at just $30, and the staff in the office were friendly and helpful. They provided me with free maps were super helpful in navigating the area along safe routes (on separated lanes or bike paths).

You can borrow a bycicle here for free, and a helmet too. Horray. I love this. I can borrow also a bike with baby seat attached. Just show your passport, and get it back when you return the bike.

We hired 2 e-bikes for the day at $90 in total which is very reasonable. Some things to note though. It’s very difficult to park near the pick up spot as the staff park in the car park out the front. They did offer to move a car for us which was appreciated but I found it odd that they used the customer spaces out the front.

The bikes are quite heavy so you need to feel comfortable riding to manage the extra 25kg. There are plenty of cycle paths but they are quite difficult to follow within the city as the signage is quite poor. I didnt really feel as though they had good support info to help you find your way through the city maze.

The service was ok if a little lacking in enthusiasm.

I don’t have anything to compare it to but would look for other options first when I next come to Adelaide.

This is a great way to support the local biking community and see the city. I particularly liked the cycle path down to the beach.

It’s free to rent a decent bicycle in Adelaide! Good service, and nice city to bicycle around. Would advise to go to the coast, the bikes are not of the quality that you would want to take them into the hills, but hey, at the price I’m not complaining!

Bike SA is a community hub for all things cycling. A wonderful spot for free daily bikes or to pick up a special on bike attire or, most importantly to get a membership that supports cycling in South Australia and give you third party insurance! A great support to the community and to cycling!

I messaged Jamal outside of business hours asking if he had the bike I wanted in stock and got an almost instant reply. Jamal answered all of my questions as a new e-bike rider and took the time to show us how to work our new bike. We got the same price as manufacturer website special and Jamal threw in a free alarm to keep our bike safe. We are loving our new bike (Fatboy Harlem) and may even be back for another.

After trying to get as much info online for several months regarding ebikes I had decided on a certain brand and headed to Hi5 ebikes for a test ride. I was immediately impressed with the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service. Whilst preparing the bike I had in mind, it was suggested that I might like to try another model, which I did…the advice I was given was sound. i fell in love with the Stator cub pro.
This bike has everything I was looking for including a good price, more power than I thought possible and quality parts. The instant torque is amazing from the Bafang 1000w motor. Its such a comfortable and easy bike to ride too.
The service, attention and help I received was second to none and the staff put me at ease making the process a very enjoyable one!

Damn man, you go in on a quick duck in and pay $50 for a bike light – should expect better quality then whatever they sold- can find exactly the same on Temu for $7 ??

Wanted to support an Australian store and was convenient on my route to work, I understand it’s probably not their specialty, but diversifying your products to bike adjacent accessories is smart so perhaps look into providing some mid-range options.

Disappointing cause it was not cheap and was just expecting better quality for that price. Bummed felt taken advantage off
