Went with bums on seats for a tour of the Barossa valley winery’s. This is was a day to remember, Perry our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. For a discounted price you would not believe what was included! 4 wine tastings and even lunch. I will absolutely be booking through them again.

What a great day! We booked the Barossa Valley wine tour. We visited four wineries, a bakery, and had lunch at one of the wineries. Our guide, Goeff, was excellent. He gave great commentary and kept us on schedule. Four of us had to make a departing cruise so his time management was greatly appreciated! The company was great, the wines tasty, and the experience was wonderful. Highly recommend!

We had the most incredible day with Geoff on our full day tour of the Barossa Valley! We visited stunning wineries, had a beautiful lunch at the Monkey Nut cafe and met some amazing people along the way. The day ran so smoothly, we tasted so many incredible wines from the Barossa valley and made memories to last a lifetime. Special shout out to Geoff who made sure we had the best day possible by making sure everyone was comfortable and by providing detailed descriptions of all of the places we visited today.

Took the Barossa & Hahndorf Food and Wine Tour on a Saturday and it was a nice little getaway into the winery area of South Australia. Peter the driver guide is funny and freindly and knowledgable. The tour took us to two different wineries for wine tasting which was a great expereince. Food was good (Lunch included). Our last stop was at the fairy tale like town of Hahndorf. Though we had more than an hour it was just enough .to scroll through the main street and did some quick shopping.
Very recommended for people who want to taste wine but not driving. For those who do not drink they’d have the privilege to visit the town nearby.

Great guide. Knowledgeable and informative.
Presenters at wineries were knowledgeable made it interesting and were likeable with no hard sell.
Size of group was good. And because smaller group easier to interact with others.
A great thing Russell did was to ask people where they were from as they got on the bus. A fantastic icebreaker.

Fantastic day. Easy to book, pick up was dead easy.
The day was a great mix of knowledge about wine, experience of three great wineries but also a chance to find out more of the Barossa valley history. Started at Kies with some incredible wines (and a Port style wine to die for!) Lunch at Turkey flats was a great way of soaking up the excellent wine. Final visit to Rosenvale for more excellent wines. Best thing was having someone else to drive!
A wonderful day out with Russell, who claims to be Susan on his bad days.

Travelled with Geoff and it was a good experience. The food recommendations were also good. However just one suggestion for the tour company is that maybe we can do lesser wine tasting and more scenic tours in the Barossa Valley because it was such a shame driving past those beautiful vineyards without stopping for some photos! By the third tasting I already had too much wine. Geoff was awesome though.

Anile was a great tour driver, very friendly and informative. We all had an enjoyable day we visited 3 wineries finishing at the Cube which was a great way to end the tour. Loved the quirkiness of this place and we will return.
We got to sample some beautiful local wines our favourite place to purchase wines from was oxenberry winery very nice lunch and beautiful wines great service (family owned) Thank you for a very enjoyable day. From Nat & Rob Moranbah Qld.
I gave this a 4 star rating due to the company not sticking to what we were advised over the phone not the tour driver. I contacted them through the brochure at our hotel room which stated a different price ($169 pp) to what we actually paid ($220) Although we enjoyed having another couple on our tour we were also told over the phone that this would be a private tour (just the two of us hence the higher price) and it wasn’t a high was a little disappointing.

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of having Andrew guide us through a perfectly curated tour of Adelaide Hills. As soon as Andrew greeted us by his luxury black Mercedes van we knew we were in for a treat. Andrew was very knowledgeable of the region and was super fun. He made sure we were well watered in between wineries and provided us with tips for each experience. As we did not know Adelaide, he provided us with restaurant recommendations (which were also delicious) and a trip to Henley Beach for our Sunday (which was also amazing). Thank you Andrew!!!

Andrew from Bus and Barrel was our Chauffeur two days on the recent Liv Golf weekend. Andrew was prompt and a safe driver and explained so much of the history of the Barossa Valley people and wineries on the way there. We visited Torbreck, Rockford and Hentley Farm for brilliant wine tastings. A Degustation 3.5 hour lunch at Hentley Farm was a highlight. Andrew drove us to Liv golf on Sunday and picked us up after following a brilliant day given to us from Luxe Golf group. We recommend Andrew as an impressive driver and wonderful person representing Bus & Barrel.
Andrew was immaculately dressed and the car was very clean and comfortable.

We had an unforgettable day with Small Batch Wine Tours on a private chauffeured trip to the Barossa Valley. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Our guide, Matt, was absolutely fantastic – warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region, the wines, and the stories behind each vineyard.
He curated a perfect itinerary for us, taking us to three very different – and equally brilliant – wineries that showcased the diversity and charm of the Barossa. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen and totally unique. The highlight was an exceptional lunch that surpassed all expectations – beautiful food, stunning setting, and the perfect mid-point to a day of indulgence.
The whole experience felt personal, relaxed and incredibly special. We learned loads, laughed lots, and tasted some sensational wines along the way.
Highly, highly recommend if you’re looking for something intimate, authentic and expertly delivered. We’d do it all again in a heartbeat!

Excellent service from Paul, who was very experienced and provided us with a wealth of knowledge of the Barossa region, viticulture and winemaking and Adelaide history. We were lucky to have a private tour on a quiet Wednesday, so we felt extra attended to and our trip was customised to our tastes.
Small Batch clearly pay great attention to detail, and while the upfront cost was higher than some others, with the tastings and lunch (which was at Harvest Kitchen, attached to Jacobs Creek, and excellent) included at no extra charge, along with the personal attention, we felt it was more than worth it.
Highly recommend Small Batch for anyone visiting the Barossa and wanting a thoroughly enjoyable wine and history experience.
Many thanks to Paul and team!

Thank you Matthew! We had a wonderful day yesterday visiting wineries in McLaren Vale and you were a big part of that. I so enjoyed your knowledge of the region that translated to key insights of the region’s development, cultural legacy, and treasured value. Your choices of wineries to visit was outstanding. Beautiful wines showcasing the stories behind the making of wine. Wine is about the personal stories of the families who aspire to make great wines. Drinking the wines told us how successful these families have been in carrying out their dreams. Your choice for lunch was brilliant. The food and the wine were married perfectly and enjoy a happy relationship together culminating in elevating the aromas and flavors of both! Thank you so very much! Maria

Excellent tour of the Adelaide Hills. Got picked up in Hahndorf and then had an enjoyable drive around the Hills. Our driver was a great driver but did wish that they had talked more about Adelaide Hills rather than just played music. Was good to talk to the other guests about each of the wineries. Glad we did our own research about where to visit as we were the only ones to go to Lot100 and that was the best of all on the day. Bird in Hand also great. Will be back to do a few more tours soon. Really worth it.

The half day tour we did with Craig was far beyond amazing xx it was well prepared and the 2 wineries were awesome. We personally preferred the chapel hills vineyard! Being on a work travel had just one weekend and had to make the best it. The half day wine tasting & beach sighting was perfect choice for me, being from India and the experiencing australian wine was a thing that I couldn’t miss. Craig our host was excellent the way he conducted the tour giving plenty of background and history of the places we visited throughout the tour. Also made sure we are right on time for the Glenelg sunset view ! Would highly recommend taking this if you are adelaide and short of time but still want to do a half day tour of the wineyards, talk to locals and visit the Glenelg beach..this is what you could do.

Found James via Google, we wanted a private tour of Barossa Valley and reached out to a few vendors, only James was responsive so our event started to take shape.
We asked for a 2 day tour of Barossa Valley and asked for a few specific things all of which were dealt with professionally and promptly. Pre-event communication was excellent and James gave us lots of ideas, ultimately we left the tour to him and he put in place a sensational couple of days.
We were met on arrival at Adelaide airport, taken to a superb first tasting at Ballycroft Vineyard, a tiny producer of superb wines, Joseph the owner was quite the character. From there we had the most fabulous lunch with wine pairings at Hentley Farm, don’t miss this if you are in the area, fabulous. Oh, in between, we stopped for a quick local beer at The Greenock pub, as recommended by Joseph at Ballycroft. We’d had a great lunch and lots of wine so we retired to the Kingsford Hotel – recommended by James, we loved it there.
Next day we did a 4×4 drive around the Two Hands vineyard, this too was superb with sensational views, then Freedom tasting at Langmeil which was super informative, lunch at Vinters bar & grill and the ending of a 100-year-old Tawny tasting session at Seppeltsfield.
The entire two days was super-well organised, James was a very friendly and knowledgeable host and I would recommend this tour to anyone in the area not constrained by budget, it was an incredibly well choreographed and researched tour, thank you so much James for the best experience.

Highly recommend the 1/2 day McLaren vale winery tour. If I was more organised I’d recommend booking the full day tour. Bruce was a fab tour guide, so knowledgable and the wineries were excellent, plus they shipped my wine purchases home!

I cannot recommend Emma and Wes enough! Firstly, Emma was quick and helpful responses to book our private tour and incorporate one of our requests into the day.
Wes picked us up from the airport and drove us straight to a couple of his favourite spots with heaps of local knowledge and hints along the way.
Food at the Greenock was spot on and we got dropped off at our Airbnb.
Absolutely brilliant day and I will be telling everyone I know who’s heading to Adelaide, thanks so much.

We came to Adelaide with an open mind, but had no idea that it would capture our hearts. My wife and I decided to take a tour of the wine country surrounding Adelaide while on our honeymoon, and it may have convinced us to move here! Upon booking, Emma was the most amazing resource. She gave us a call and settled any worries that we had. She stayed on the phone with us for extended calls, making sure that everything was set for our big day. On the day of, Wes swooped in to pick us up and close the deal. He executed Emma’s plans with excellent precision! He got us to every stop on the SECOND that we were supposed to be there. His charisma was unmatched, and his knowledge of the area, country, and all the wineries was truly astonishing! This team will not let you down. I cannot say enough about the honeymoon that they gave us, and am beyond thankful for everything! I am so glad to have met them, and cannot wait to come back and do it all over again!!

Had the best experience with Wine Tours Adelaide touring the beautiful McLaren Vale.
From the very beginning with our first initial enquiry right through to the end and the day after where they followed up with us to make sure everything was to satisfaction. We were visiting Adelaide for the footy but wanted to incorporate a wine tour but wanted someone to map it out for us and they did this and much more. Emma in the Office put together an awesome itinerary to suit our needs which included 2 kids and the experience could not have been better.
We visited 3 Winery’s, stopped for Lunch and finished off at “Down the Rabbit Hole” We also got in a couple other quick stops for scenery shots. Kate was our Tour Guide and Driver and her knowledge and customer service was exceptional. Totally recommend and when we come back we will use these guys for sure. 10/10 Loved it
Thank you, Wine Tours Adelaide.

We had such a wonderful trip with Kate who went above and beyond to make our day super special. She had great local knowledge of the area and even squeezed in a random vineyard request we had which wasn’t part of the plan. You could tell she’s been guiding for a long time because she forethought every detail to make our day go as smoothly as possible. Emma also called to follow up with us after to check in on how our day was – a really caring team.

Wes was once again a fabulous host taking us to some outstanding ‘niche’ Barossa wineries. From the moment he picked us up from our CBD accommodation, to organising our lunch booking, to squeezing in a quick visit to Maggie Beers, Wes was informative, entertaining and very helpful. This is the only wine tour company we will ever use. Thank you again Emma and Wes.

We had a fabulous time with Michael last week visiting the Barossa Valley. He took great care in asking what kinds of wine we liked and taking us to wonderful, local wineries that we never would’ve found on our own.
On the way you will get a terrific tour of the countryside and information about the rich history of the valley. As a bonus, he had great suggestions of things to do in Adelaide!

Michael was again fantastic. We were back for a re-run after a great tour two years ago. We visited unique wineries, away from the tourist traps. At each we were treated royally and enjoyed fabulous wines and learnt so much. Cannot recommend more highly.

Many thanks for a great day Michael. As recent Adelaide residents this was our first wine tasting tour of McLaren Vale and Michael couldn’t have picked a better selection of wineries for us. We were accompanied by four family members visiting from interstate who have now booked Michael for a Barossa wine tasting tour also. Michael has extensive knowledge of the local wine industry gained as a South Australian resident, personal vineyard interests and, no doubt, a very experienced palette! He chose for us 3 quite different wineries for our tasting experience each having different approaches to showcasing their wines, and providing us with a comprehensive geographical overview of the region. Michael was adaptable and flexible to our needs throughout the day and our return trip was a close up of the beautiful beaches, bays and pristine waters of the southern coastline. The minibus was spotless, super comfortable, and Michael is a particularly safe and experienced driver. Michael is an all round great guy with a wealth of living under his belt and we can’t recommend him highly enough. We will certainly be encouraging our interstate friends and family to join Michael for their vineyard tastings and wine knowledge discovery.

We cannot thank Michael enough.
We could not have asked for a better Tour guide.
He was punctual, friendly, down to earth and just a ripping bloke!
He showed us some great smaller wineries that we wouldn’t have visited otherwise and we are glad he suggested them.
Thanks to Michael, we tasted some beautiful wines and met some great characters with big personalities along the way.
In fact, we originally booked Michael for 1 day, but had such a great experience with him that we re-booked him for the following day.
Thank you Michael, you made our stay in SA much more memorable.
See you again in the future.
