We had an unforgettable day with Small Batch Wine Tours on a private chauffeured trip to the Barossa Valley. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Our guide, Matt, was absolutely fantastic – warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region, the wines, and the stories behind each vineyard. He curated a perfect itinerary for us, taking us to three very different – and equally brilliant – wineries that showcased the diversity and charm of the Barossa. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen and totally unique. The highlight was an exceptional lunch that surpassed all expectations – beautiful food, stunning setting, and the perfect mid-point to a day of indulgence. The whole experience felt personal, relaxed and incredibly special. We learned loads, laughed lots, and tasted some sensational wines along the way. Highly, highly recommend if you’re looking for something intimate, authentic and expertly delivered. We’d do it all again in a heartbeat!

Excellent service from Paul, who was very experienced and provided us with a wealth of knowledge of the Barossa region, viticulture and winemaking and Adelaide history. We were lucky to have a private tour on a quiet Wednesday, so we felt extra attended to and our trip was customised to our tastes. Small Batch clearly pay great attention to detail, and while the upfront cost was higher than some others, with the tastings and lunch (which was at Harvest Kitchen, attached to Jacobs Creek, and excellent) included at no extra charge, along with the personal attention, we felt it was more than worth it. Small Batch Wine Tours are a gem in the South Australian wine industry. Owner Matthew has a wealth of knowledge of the industry and its people, the climate, geography, and wines. After gleaning what we were after, he educated us. This allowed us to taste what we were really interested in, and trying others we wouldn’t have otherwise thought of. Included in the day was very comfortable transport and delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

My partner and I enjoyed a private Small Batch wine tour through Adelaide Hills that was personalized and luxurious from start to finish. Our guide Matt was amazing- friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, sharing fascinating insights into each winery and its unique wines.
