Excellent customer service. Everyone was very kind and helpful when I came to pick up an order. No issues at all, and definitely will purchase from MSY again in future.

This 1 star review might be the exception but I had a very frustrating experience with a warranty claim for a faulty WD Red Plus drive (WD80EFZZ). I bought 2 of these drives in June 2023 from MSY - the price was good and the drives had a 3 year warranty. In May this year one drive stopped mounting (I couldn't access/use it) and I returned it to MSY/Umart in their Grote Street Adelaide location on May 30. It wasn't until 18 July that I was able to collect a WD refurbished replacement for my faulty drive. That's 7.5 weeks from drop-off at MSY. to return of a working hard disk drive to me. At drop-off of the faulty drive I was told that warranty claims take 3-4 weeks normally but thought that wouldn't apply in this case - wouldn't local MSY techs check the drive, and confirm it was faulty and under warranty and give me a replacement from stock? Sadly no. That's not what happened. Apparently my faulty drive went back to Western Digital for their confirmation of a fault and repair or replacement. And WD returned a repaired/refurbished drive. MSY implied the delay was due to WD handling/processing. I don't know - very frustrating experience. I think the measure of a good business is how it handles problems and quickly resolves them if they arise. I wasn't impressed here. So am not a happy customer and won't be recommending MSY to others because of this experience.

Now they are part of Umart, total pain to deal with warranty and support, you can no longer call the store, just get offshore call centre... had a hard drive DOA, was a total pain to sort out.

Service from David was a little abrupt. He was not friendly at all. Elizabeth MSY are much friendlier and more helpful with engaging conversation. After searching online for a particular product that was in stock, it was disappointing to find it was not available when we attended the Store. I can only presume it was sold in the hour it took us to drive there. At least they were open on a Sunday and we were able to purchase something similar.

Good prices and customer service I am very happy with my new system assembled by MSY from my selection of parts, cable management was good and everything running well.

Went in for some simple parts installation (an new SSD) served by Jordan and Michael due to a previously undiscovered problem with the computer escalated into a diagnosis and repair with Jordan and Michael showing some incredible out of the box thinking skills and professionalism. Would definitely recommend.

Good pricing and helpful staff. Best if you know what you want rather than getting guidance from the sales people who are more technicians/engineers than salespeople. Suits me perfectly. Several outlets and all are similar. Huge range of computer goodies in particular.
