Wonderful service from Gyan. Had repaired my Google Pixel 8 Pro camera lense as I’d smashed it, within 4 hrs. Also got a new case which comes out further to add additional protection to prevent this happening again. He was easy to deal with and understood exactly what I needed when I phoned up last week.
I would come back again for the great service.

I had a fabulous experience with GR Phones. My phone had stopped charging and was flat as a tack – I honestly thought I’d never get it going again and lose everything on it. The lovely lady at GR Phones had a quick look and said the charging port needed to be replaced and that she could fix it THAT DAY! Within a few hours I had a phone that was PERFECT from a charging perspective! It was $69 – a small price to pay for such a great result. She was extremely helpful, polite and professional – I note the Google Reviews show 4.9 out of 5 – I can totally see why.

What a helpful man I dealt with. My initial screen replacement wasn’t ideal, I chose the cheaper option but figured it should be ok. It ended up not performing to my expectations so it was replaced and still wasn’t happy. They were so helpful in trying to find a solution and I ended up getting the top of the range screen swapped and just paid the difference but it was so easy to deal with them and they were just super helpful. My new screen is as good as new!

I went in to pick up my online order for the Switch 2. Everything was ready, but when I asked for a printed receipt, the staff said they couldn’t provide one because it takes “5–10 minutes to go through the system.” Funny enough, I received the digital receipt instantly. There was no one else in the queue, so it honestly felt like they just didn’t want to bother. The excuse didn’t make sense and came across as lazy. Disappointing experience for something so simple.

I’d like to praise the outstanding support I received from Simon. I was having trouble activating my one-off purchase of Microsoft Office on a brand-new MacBook Pro. Even after following all the steps, I just couldn’t get it to work. Simon really went above and beyond — the issue wasn’t straightforward, but he patiently worked through it with deep knowledge and persistence. After several attempts, he finally resolved the problem. His dedication and expertise made all the difference. Thank you, Simon!

I had a great experience at JB in Rundle Mall. I went to buy a PS5 controller because I was having problems with stick drift on my old controllers and went up to the customer service desk in the corner and was quickly greeted. I was shown where the controllers were by an older man with a beard who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different kinds of controllers and the warranty they came with. He helped me choose a controller and even explained the warranty process, getting my details and sending me the paperwork so I could get a replacement if the same issue happened again. I would recommend shopping here, the staff are friendly and the prices are low.

I found my experience at addicted to audio totally superb. I’m so thankful I came in store and heeded the reviews so many others have left on Google! If you want a sound that makes you go WOW – Frederique and the team (shout out to Marek for carrying the speakers to my car!!!) are the ones for you. The store itself is super aesthetic and the staff match that style. The personalised attention to what sound you like and your own budget and living space needs… don’t do the heavy lifting reading forums online comparing stuff – come in let them demo the equipment and help you choose something that makes you go “wow”. It’s so worth it. Huge props to Frederique and the team!!

Addicted To Audio is my favourite shop in Adelaide. Love going there to check out the latest and greatest in Hi-Fi gear. I have made a few purchases in the past year, and Marek and Lewi are very friendly and helpful. My most recent purchase was a pair of Hifiman Ananda Nano open back planar headphones. I originally had my heart set on the Sundara’s, until Lewi showed me the Ananda Nano’s. Yes, they were more expensive, but I was better off paying more for something better that could very well possibly be my end game headphones. I strongly recommend Addicted To Audio to any HiFi enthusiast or audiophile. Excellent range of products for those looking to start off their Hi-Fi journey, and those who are well and truly in to it!

And my salesperson was Louis, highly recommend him, his knowledge and understanding about my generation and how we like to peruse and then go Yes!
Louis has made my day, and experience fun and non judgmental at nor understanding all technical stuff, yet knows I want to hear my music with the excellence of audio from their shop, and Merrick for his advice on Technics brand, thank you!

I’ve always relied on music to fill in gaps between meetings and breaking the monotony of silence. After pondering “what does better sound like?” and researching online, I was inundated with reviews without any experience to benchmark what I would enjoy personally.
I came across Addicted to Audio searching for a place to demo headphones. I was attended to by Lewi who was very knowledgeable and provided advice to help me narrow in on something that would suit my needs and expectations.
Despite originally having the idea of closed-back headphones, I ended up deciding on a pair of IEM’s.
For those on the fence about dropping in, I encourage you to do so. Whilst Reddit and YouTube feel like they help, visiting the store saved me from gambling money on headphones I had never heard.

Audio is such a subjective experience. Some like Bass, some like to hear the highs more. Addicted to Audio help take the guesswork out of buying anything audio. Deciding on some IEM’s? $100 Budget? $600? $1,500? Their ability to select snd often beat your budget with a IEM wine tasting of the sorts is excellent.
I wish everybody knew about this store and that audio for the masses was more than a shallow opinion of “it works”. Why not enjoy it?
The staff here continue to show me time and time again they work there for passion and sharing that passion with others.

This 1 star review might be the exception but I had a very frustrating experience with a warranty claim for a faulty WD Red Plus drive (WD80EFZZ). I bought 2 of these drives in June 2023 from MSY – the price was good and the drives had a 3 year warranty.
In May this year one drive stopped mounting (I couldn’t access/use it) and I returned it to MSY/Umart in their Grote Street Adelaide location on May 30. It wasn’t until 18 July that I was able to collect a WD refurbished replacement for my faulty drive. That’s 7.5 weeks from drop-off at MSY. to return of a working hard disk drive to me.
At drop-off of the faulty drive I was told that warranty claims take 3-4 weeks normally but thought that wouldn’t apply in this case – wouldn’t local MSY techs check the drive, and confirm it was faulty and under warranty and give me a replacement from stock? Sadly no.
That’s not what happened. Apparently my faulty drive went back to Western Digital for their confirmation of a fault and repair or replacement. And WD returned a repaired/refurbished drive.
MSY implied the delay was due to WD handling/processing. I don’t know – very frustrating experience.
I think the measure of a good business is how it handles problems and quickly resolves them if they arise. I wasn’t impressed here.
So am not a happy customer and won’t be recommending MSY to others because of this experience.

Now they are part of Umart, total pain to deal with warranty and support, you can no longer call the store, just get offshore call centre… had a hard drive DOA, was a total pain to sort out.

Service from David was a little abrupt. He was not friendly at all. Elizabeth MSY are much friendlier and more helpful with engaging conversation.
After searching online for a particular product that was in stock, it was disappointing to find it was not available when we attended the Store. I can only presume it was sold in the hour it took us to drive there.
At least they were open on a Sunday and we were able to purchase something similar.

Was told I was 8th in a queue for my order with Marion. When I tried to contact them two months later the store no longer was their and I was never made aware of this. Since then I have now found out they have merged the queues with Rundle mall and now I’m 27th in queue. I’ve very upset I was told I was 2nd in queue only a week ago and that they weren’t going to merge the two stores. I was never contacted about the store closing and felt as if they don’t care about the customers and everyone is giving me different information. Now being told it’s up to 8 months still to get my camera so surly you can understand the frustration

Took my 10yo niece and 6yo nephew to their introductory kids workshop. Don the workshop facilitator was so patient, informative and funny! Great way to get children to think about coding, logic and STEM. All the equipment was provided and the children ended up teaching their grandfather how to do it (when he was the other adult supervising)! Will be enrolling the kids in next term’s program and kids have already started researching kits.

I highly recommend Aztronics. My solar hot water service controller stopped working and I could see the relay had again burnt out. Aztronics supplied a replacement but the “chatter” on the relay persisted.
More testing suggested the relay needed to be a 24v coil. But again this one chattered too.
The gentleman on Aztronics picked up on the photo I had of the circuit board and suggested a capacitor had failed. He was right! Electronics circuit diagnosis from a photo – now that’s what I call an expert!
New capacitor supplied and bingo, hot water service controller up and running.
Aztronics – my go to store for sure.

The staff experience here can be a bit hit and miss. There are definitely some amazing and passionate team members, but not everyone shares the same level of care.
I’m giving 3 stars because of an issue my partner had with her iPhone 14 Pro Max after a battery replacement about six months ago. Recently, the battery swelled and was replaced under warranty, but it appears the swelling caused internal damage to the screen.
A week ago, the screen became stuck on a faint green display with a ghost image of the last app used (Google Maps). Touch controls still worked, and the phone was otherwise in “like-new” condition.
Unfortunately, our first visit to the store didn’t go well. The technician we spoke to insisted the phone had physical or water damage, which was not the case. She was dismissive, didn’t entertain alternative suggestions, and told us retrieving the data was impossible. Instead recommending a $650 data recovery service and an $850 screen replacement.
Back at home, I managed to recover the data myself by streaming the phone’s display to our TV via AirPlay, since the touchscreen still worked.
On our second visit, we spoke with a different technician who took the time to properly inspect the phone. They found a kink in the ribbon cable for the screen, likely caused by the swollen battery putting stress on it. They explained the situation clearly, and we appreciated their care and professionalism.
The takeaway? Always get a second opinion at the Apple Store. Some team members truly go above and beyond, while others may not give you the same attention.
A big thank you to the staff who were willing to spend the extra time to help us. Your efforts made all the difference.

I want to sincerely thank the manager and the technicians for their outstanding service. I bought a MacBook Pro two months ago, and unfortunately, horizontal and vertical lines appeared on the screen without any physical damage. When I brought it to the shop, they immediately replaced it with a brand new one after understanding that I run a business and urgently need a laptop. Their professionalism, efficiency, and care truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended

Oh my gosh, I LOVE THIS STORE! MY FAVOURITE IN RUNDLE MALL!
The apple store is absolutely amazing, the staff are kind, you have so much free will and most of the stations are available and ready to use and play with! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars, I love the apple store. Every time i walk past it, I always have the urge to walk inside and check everything out, even if going there wasn’t planned! The staff are nice, everything including the devices are extremely clean, and testing products is extremely fun.

This is probably my favourite store in Adelaide. It is laid out so nicely, with so much space between all of the display tables and within the displays themselves. You are able to hold and use the products to get a sense of how they feel, and you can try on different watch bands before you purchase any. The customer service here has always been fantastic for me, and they will try to sort out any issues you have before they have to resort to quoting for an external repair. You just need to make sure to book an appointment ahead of time as you will wait a while for a walk-in! They have a good discount program for University students as well

I have visited this store many times. Overall, the front office staff is really cool. Some technical people are very knowledgeable and they are trouble shooting an issue from every aspect. But some of them can’t understand the issue well. Just turn on the trouble shooter and simple depend on that report. I had to come back home without a solution for my Mac book pro’s sudden restarting issue. I ended up finding the issue on my own. The issue was in the operating system. All technicians here are not geniuses.

I appreciate the range of brands available, catering to various budgets and preferences. The showroom itself is well-organized, allowing for easy browsing of the available inventory. Customer service seems to be a priority.
While the selection is vast, wait times for assistance can occasionally be long, particularly during peak hours. Returns and exchanges are handled according to company policy. The store provides convenient access to major appliances, and frequently has promotional deals. Overall, it’s a dependable place for tech needs.

Customer Reviews
We are delighted with our purchase of a Bosch washer dryer. Your salesperson Andrew was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, and the end deal was excellent value. Your cashier was bright and friendly, and Mohammed, the delivery man, went above and beyond installing the new machine in our city apartment and taking the old one and all the packaging away. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you all, and we’ll see you again!

I purchased a DeLonghi coffee machine from Harvey Norman City Cross at the end of last year. Since then, it has broken down twice — the second time occurring less than a week after the first repair.
When I requested a refund or replacement, the store staff started playing games.
The first excuse
“We can’t help you — this is DeLonghi’s responsibility.”
That’s not how Australian Consumer Law works — I bought the machine from Harvey Norman, not DeLonghi. The retailer is responsible for handling major faults.
The second excuse
“This isn’t a major issue.”
Really? The grinder — the core component of a coffee machine — broke down twice, making the machine useless. If that’s not a major fault, what is?
Should I invite the staff over to my house to grind the beans with their teeth?
But here’s the best part:
The store manager told me I need THREE breakdowns before I’m allowed a refund.
I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous policy. I don’t know if this is just misleading conduct or something worse, like discrimination.
I even quoted Australian Consumer Law to him. His response?
“I don’t need to read that. This is how it works. If you want your coffee machine, take it. If not, leave it here forever.”
WoW. What a good amazing wonderful manager! I honestly left more upset by his arrogance than by the broken machine. I felt like he was the paying customer, and I was just a servant. With that attitude, he should run for CEO.
To summarize: I didn’t spend $1,000 to buy a coffee machine — I paid $1,000 to be insulted and treated like garbage.
If you don’t want to be treated this way, stay far away from this place.
Also, just to be clear — I have a recording of the conversation to back up everything I’ve said.
If your “manager” has a different version of the story, feel free to give me a call anytime.
Thanks

Pricing is fine but understaffed and unprofessional. I came in on a Saturday knowing exactly a laptop I want to purchase, basically just pay and go. The whole big computer section has 1
receptionist (who tried to help) and 2 sales rep, who made me wait 15 minutes to even come talk to me.

We purchased an Epson printer 11 months ago and was told we could use the Calidad cartridges. We had an issue with one of the ink jets and we proved it was not the cartridges but the printer. We were told to contact Epson direct and when we told them the cartridges we used they declined any help, saying unless you use the genuine cartridges the warranty is null and void. We went back to Harvey Norman who said as they would have to send the printer back to Epson there is nothing they could do. They printed out a couple of pictures we wanted but basically the warranty was not going to be honoured even though when we bought the printer from them, they said we could use the Calidad cartridges and even tried to sell us some. The printer cost $109. The loyalty we showed to this store having purchased lots of items, has ended we will now look at other electrical/furniture stores. Thr printer meanwhile now goes in the bin.

Terrible experience. I had to sit there for 40 minutes just to be told the part I bought doesn’t even work with my PC. On top of that, I watched a manager call a tech “useless” right in front of everyone. Reading the reviews now, I wish I had seen them first. Buyers be warned — this is how you lose repeat business.

So far, brilliant experience with these guys. Have mainly used the online store but price, and speed of dispatch has been invaluable.
Customer Service team have been quick and courteous, and gone above and beyond to assist with any issues. Highly recommend this company for both personal and professional use.

Friendly staff, lots of stuff in the store.
Sadly I couldn’t find any keyboards, key switches or keycaps on display, or headphones. I also wanted to check out a few desk mats, because I have a particular preference for texture, and after a quick look around I couldn’t find any on display. There are signs around letting me know I can’t open the boxes and to speak with the staff instead, but unfortunately I was short on time and had to grab my online order and go. Maybe there was more stuff, but I only spend a short time looking.
The online order process was painless, and I will be purchasing more from here to support them.
I don’t remember a computer store this large in Adelaide since the 90s, and it was quite a nice surprise. It’s a rare treat seeing all the products on the shelves when I’m so used to ordering PC stuff online.
I hope that they can expand and include more products on display. This will help make purchasing decisions when it’s more than technical merits that are being considered.

Service was alright, price is usually cheaper than other retailers. Just wish you guys do “Change of mind” policy just like any other retailers like JBHifi or Harvey Norman. The product was 100% new since I only used it less than an hour. Still it was not allowed to return because the seal is broken. I respect your policy but probably this is the last time I ever purchase anything from you. Would rather just go to JBHifi or Harvey Norman then price match with you guys.

I had a disappointing experience with Centre Com’s return policy. I bought a wired headset that didn’t suit my desk setup, rendering it useless for me. Their strict policy made returning it impossible, so I’d caution others to be absolutely certain a product will work before purchasing from Centre Com. Lesson learned—think twice before buying!

Had to line up for over 20 minutes for a Click & Collect while two staff members left the counter area to serve customers on the floor and brought them to the counter to process their purchases and then left again to to ask other customers if they needed help rather than assisting the growing line at the counter.
Was it because I was the one of two females in the store? I’ll head back to MSY when I build my next computer.

The website shows the item as in stock when it actually isn’t — which is understandable, mistakes happen. The issue is that they have no intention of updating or correcting the stock status for that product.

Great service today when I went into the store to get a replacement relay component. The very knowledgeable guy at the front desk was able to find a match for the old failed relay and he checked the pin layout to make sure it would fit back into the circuit board. This $12 part has saved me from replacing our garage door controller board and possibly the whole garage door opener system (~$500) not to mention the labour. Thank you

Today 8/5/23 my husband and I were very impressed with Jack who served us. He was extremely attentive to our needs and knowledgeable and gave us his undivided attention not just to my husband, but to me as well. He has excellent communication skills and listens intently and guided us through the options very skillfully. I can’t recommend the young guy highly enough. I would like to add when I spoke to James the boss, he too was outstanding so much better than the previous staff/owners. He was very polite and spoke with a smile which accounts for a lot these days. As soon as we walked into the shop we noticed a big difference to the culture and the fact that there were more customers than we’d seen in a long time and it was a Monday! Keep up the good work and we will be back. Thanks so much.
