We are delighted with our purchase of a Bosch washer dryer. Your salesperson Andrew was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, and the end deal was excellent value. Your cashier was bright and friendly, and Mohammed, the delivery man, went above and beyond installing the new machine in our city apartment and taking the old one and all the packaging away. We couldn't be happier. Thank you all, and we'll see you again!
Big thanks to Mardi for the professional and efficient way the inconvenience with my laptop purchase was handled. I also want to thank Jason for his excellent customer service and deep product knowledge—he walked me through all the options and alternatives to ensure complete satisfaction. I’m very happy with my laptop and the overall experience at Harvey Norman. If you need a hand, ask for Jason. Highly recommended.

I purchased a DeLonghi coffee machine from Harvey Norman City Cross at the end of last year. Since then, it has broken down twice — the second time occurring less than a week after the first repair. When I requested a refund or replacement, the store staff started playing games. The first excuse "We can’t help you — this is DeLonghi’s responsibility." That’s not how Australian Consumer Law works — I bought the machine from Harvey Norman, not DeLonghi. The retailer is responsible for handling major faults. The second excuse "This isn't a major issue." Really? The grinder — the core component of a coffee machine — broke down twice, making the machine useless. If that’s not a major fault, what is? Should I invite the staff over to my house to grind the beans with their teeth? But here’s the best part: The store manager told me I need THREE breakdowns before I’m allowed a refund. I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous policy. I don’t know if this is just misleading conduct or something worse, like discrimination. I even quoted Australian Consumer Law to him. His response? "I don’t need to read that. This is how it works. If you want your coffee machine, take it. If not, leave it here forever." WoW. What a good amazing wonderful manager! I honestly left more upset by his arrogance than by the broken machine. I felt like he was the paying customer, and I was just a servant. With that attitude, he should run for CEO. To summarize: I didn’t spend $1,000 to buy a coffee machine — I paid $1,000 to be insulted and treated like garbage. If you don’t want to be treated this way, stay far away from this place. Also, just to be clear — I have a recording of the conversation to back up everything I’ve said. If your "manager" has a different version of the story, feel free to give me a call anytime. Thanks
Pricing is fine but understaffed and unprofessional. I came in on a Saturday knowing exactly a laptop I want to purchase, basically just pay and go. The whole big computer section has 1 receptionist (who tried to help) and 2 sales rep, who made me wait 15 minutes to even come talk to me.
I had a wonderful experience with a lovely lad name Jason. Polite, experienced, knowledgeable and he was quick to clear all issues with me. Highly recommended you visit and be assisted by Jason. In the computer electronics department.
We purchased an Epson printer 11 months ago and was told we could use the Calidad cartridges. We had an issue with one of the ink jets and we proved it was not the cartridges but the printer. We were told to contact Epson direct and when we told them the cartridges we used they declined any help, saying unless you use the genuine cartridges the warranty is null and void. We went back to Harvey Norman who said as they would have to send the printer back to Epson there is nothing they could do. They printed out a couple of pictures we wanted but basically the warranty was not going to be honoured even though when we bought the printer from them, they said we could use the Calidad cartridges and even tried to sell us some. The printer cost $109. The loyalty we showed to this store having purchased lots of items, has ended we will now look at other electrical/furniture stores. Thr printer meanwhile now goes in the bin.
