He was honest the whole way about if it would be worth keeping or not and once we diagnosed the problem it was deemed to be fixable. Eddie had it fixed within two days and his communication was outstanding.

Eddie was fabulous. Kept me informed about his arrival time, replaced the worn shock absorbers on my washing machine and explained the repairs he had undertaken. The quote/price was fair. I have no hesitation in recommending.

After a phone call first thing in the morning explaining our washing machine kept coming up with fault code saying clear filter Eddie was there only a few hours later. Great service! Helpful and Friendly, didn’t try to upsell. The quoting process was simple, honest and straightforward. Not the cheapest quote by any means but do you really want cowboys working on your home? They’re a business, and after reading some of the other reviews, it’s clear that people need to understand the concept of running a business. I just replaced a gas continuous hot water system, and from quote to job completed was less than 24 hours. Everything that was done was explained to me in detail and the workmanship quality was excellent. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

Dave was able to explain what had happened to the front garden tap & was told that someone would be here to see to it for us & that the guy would telephone when he was half an hour away from our address. Lady that booked in my repair was super nice. Other than that the technician was there for a total of 5 mins looked inside the dishwasher didn’t even test it then demanded $140. Ended up fixing it myself after he left

Total disappointment today. The technician came to check why our Technika cooktop isn’t working properly. Under warranty, he was expected to diagnose the issue, fix it, or arrange a replacement. Instead, he didn’t check the installation or do any meaningful testing—other than trying (and failing) to boil water in different pots. He simply recorded a video of the problem and left, repeatedly insisting it was “normal” for two cups of water not to boil after 15 minutes on the highest setting (which clearly isn’t normal). This was not service—it was incompetence.

I’ve used Prestige Repair before without any problems, but this recent experience was incredibly disappointing. I couldn’t even get through to book my coffee machine in for service. The contact centre couldn’t understand basic details, including the word “DeLonghi,” and couldn’t answer a simple question about drop-off options. I was told someone would call me back, but three days later, I’ve heard nothing. Followed up, waited again on hold for 8-10 minutes and nothing. It’s frustrating that there’s no one anymore at the Torrensville location available to handle calls directly. I’ve since taken my business elsewhere. Sad as the experience in the past was pretty good. I’ll re rate my one star to two for that reason.

Good range of models and accessories from several quality brands, rather than full range from just one or two brands. So they have Numatic Henry vacuum and ordered in a Numatic George carpet & upholstery cleaner vacuum for me, which arrived even sooner than expected.

The owner has a terrible attitude. You walk into the shop & he just looks at you in cold silence. I was returning a product I’d purchased. The wife(?), who served me on that occasion, was marginally more polite, but who insisted it was the correct product. On returning it a few days later, & pointing out it was the wrong part, the husband(?) asked almost belligerently what was wrong with the part. Not fully understanding what answer “he” wanted, I gave 3 explanations until finally arriving at an answer to his satisfaction, whereupon he abruptly & quite rudely said “That’s what I wanted to know!”, as if I was some kind of idiot (I wonder how many university degrees he has? I have 5!!). As I left the shop, again, the silence was deafening! Not a word of thanks, no – “Sorry we couldn’t help you”; he couldn’t even muster a polite smile. To make matters worse, at that end of Magill Rd. (just around the corner from the Maid & Magpie), which – in peak hour traffic is extremely busy – there’s nowhere to park except on the main road, which is a Clearway in the mornings into town, & likewise with the outbound traffic in the afternoon. I’ll never go back there again.

Went in looking at having a Dyson repaired. However I had a chat with Janeane and explained I needed a vacuum to pick up pet hair from a medium pile carpet. She gave me great advice on a replacement, which would actually work. Which brands to look at, to switch to a bagged vacuum etc. I’ve now bought a vacuum that actually works and should do for a long while. The staff are a wealth of knowledge and will be supporting their store where I can in the future, thanks again!

The vacuum bags I ordered were of the genuine brand I was after. The order arrived in 3 business days from Adelaide to Melbourne. Early one Saturday morning the wife tells me that the washing machine rubber gasket is playing up and we will need to buy a new machine. I have a look and the gasket is fine and it’s the spring that has failed. A quick web search brings up these guys and the part number. I drive in and have lost the page on my phone. The young gentleman was super patient and looks it up for me and promptly brings one out. 10 minutes after getting home the machine is working again! Wonderful business, just happened to visit whilst they were decorating for their 40th birthday as a business. The staff were so inviting, friendly and helpful and it made the visit very enjoyable. I had ordered a part (confirmed the correct part number over the phone). Unfortunately, honest advise and mistake was given and the wrong part was ordered. I contacted them regarding issue, and the situation was rectified extremely fast at no cost to myself (and they allowed me to keep the incorrect part). New invoice (with zero dollars as they did not charge me anything for replacement or postage) was billed, and new part is on its way. So although, initial interaction caused the wrong part to be order, I am giving them 5 stars and I revisited the site to leave this comment as I am very pleased with the resolution by Ray.
I am awaiting for delivery of correct item (but I don’t foresee any issues based on the prompt resolution).

Also, the initial interaction I had with Ray over the phone when I was confirming part number was top notch (just unfortunate we got the left/right leg stand for my TV stand incorrect). He was very professional and courtesy.

Purchased a new 900mm gas/electric stove last week from Jeannie at this outlet. Price was great and service was terrific.
I was told tradesmen would contact me re delivery and fitting. Was contacted the same day and given time for fitting today. Gas fitter (Peter) and electrician (Andrew) arrived promptly on time and fitted appliance with no fuss.
In these days of some very ordinary customer service it makes a nice change to be treated as the focus of a business.
I would definitely recommend this business.

Efficient and thorough job by Hardeep and Saven yesterday! The new “window” air-conditioner fit pretty snugly but they went to the extra effort of a clear silicon grouting around the edge for a proper airtight fit. Recommend!

My experience could not have been better! I was told by a plumber that my dishwasher needed to be replaced, advised by another company that the earliest appointment was in two weeks and someone else charged twice the call out rate and wanted payment in cash. I struck gold when I rang Wise Appliance Service! The young man came out within a couple of hours, was very knowledgeable and communicative and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

I couldn’t be happier with the service that was provided. I called at 8am this morning due to an old oven no longer heating up properly, which was promptly fixed by Val who replaced the old heating element with a new one. To get same day service, at that quality, and at a very reasonable price point, I am thrilled and couldn’t recommend highly enough. Kareem arrived on time. He was polite and found the blockage on our Electrolux washing machine. He took videos of faults and he tested the cycles to ensure machine was working. He explained how to clean the filter regularly and how to use the various cycles of the machine including just using spin cycle. I was very satisfied with his service.
