An overdue review. We were here during the Easter Break. So glad we did, in fact we were here twice in 4 days. The service was excellent from the servers to the cashier. Food was delicious, especially the fish, it was fresh and fried to perfection. Price was reasonable too! Next time we are in Adelaide, we know where to get authentic Indonesian food.

Good value for a quick meal. The beef rib I had was really tender and fell off the bone when pulled apart with the fork. Would not recommend the milk tea though, which tasted like made from powder.

Nice variety for all types of food preferences including vegans.
Good food portions for affordable prices. Enjoyable spicy flavors for those that like the heat.

Authentic. Cafe style, not a date night. Mains were fantastic, desert was a banana disaster which was inedible. Go figure.
Have no concept of separation between courses, everything came at once.

I visited Pandok Daun a few times. The food quality was always good, quite big portion, and absolutely delicious. The price level was very reasonable.
I have only visited Bali, Indonesia, one time. I would say some dishes are very close to those I tried before when I lived in Hong Kong. There were over 160,000 Indonesians living in Hong Kong, so I believed those Indonesian restaurants in Hong Kong were pretty authentic.
This was the best Indonesian restaurant that I ever tried in Australia. I am happy to recommend it to my friends, colleagues and anyone who likes Indonesian food.

I ordered the takeaway fried chicken with crispy flakes ( Ayam kremes ), and it was absolutely delicious. Even after keeping it in a container for two hours, the crispy flakes stayed crunchy, the vegetables were still fresh, and the chicken was still so tasty.
I really loved the belacan sauce — it’s spicy, but so addictive that I couldn’t stop eating!
As a cabin crew member, I often bring food back to my room, but I usually never finish it — not even the instant noodles I bring from my home country. But this meal was different. This was my first flight to Adelaide, and your food made me forget I was here. It truly felt like I was back in Indonesia. Thank you for such a heartwarming meal! Semoga success selalu ya! VON Thai is amazing. The crispy pork belly is perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The Pad Thai is full of flavour and really hits the spot. Also, a Filipino team serving us were so friendly and attentive, which made the meal even better. Great food and excellent service, I will definitely be back.

Excellent service with amazing food! Strongly recommend to go with the Feed Me menu, very generous portions, and the monthly special cocktail is such a great match! They also have a hidden monthly special menu via dine-in experience only, must try!

My friends and I were craving Thai food this week and we found an amazing spot!
We ordered satay chicken skewers, peanut sauce was so good and the chicken was super tender. Absolutely delicious. For my main, I got the chicken Pad Thai. The crispy fried chicken added such nice crunch, and the noodles were packed with flavour. Huge compliments to the Chef for the wonderful meal! If you still have room for dessert, try their blue sticky rice to complete your Thai food trip.
In addition, the service was fantastic! The staff were accommodating, and friendly. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back for more.

The enterence is immediately inside the soho hotel, not directly from the street. The staff were extremely welcoming and the atmosphere was lovely. The curries come with a minimum medium spice level, but were delicious and didn’t overpower the flavours at all. The service was super fast and the food was excellent. Especially the beef cheek red curry which was perfectly tender. Only a few beers on the menu, but a good wine list by the bottle. Only a few available by the glass, but they’re all good ones. The mocktails were great. Desserts were superb. Would definitely recommend the blue mango sticky rice! Seems like they only do a few things in each category, but that they have done them extremely well.

Easily one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in Adelaide. Absolutely fabulous from start to finish! Great service and vibes too. The standouts were the Chilli Jam Fried Chicken, the Chu Chee Curry, and the Seaflowers. Mango Blue Sticky Rice for dessert was also a winner!

Delicious food but the stand out really is the service. Both times I’ve been recently 3 staff members have stood out as exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. The young man with curly hair, lady with glasses and bartender. All 3 staff are so so nice!! It really makes the experience thank you so much guys ☺️ I would highly reccomend ordering the salt and pepper tofu and the prawn toast while it’s a special! Go to Gin Long, you won’t regret it!

Gin Long Canteen has been on my list for so long and we finally made it in! Can truly say the food lived up (and exceeded) all expectations. Such a lively, vibrant venue – perfect for a night out with the girls, birthday or just a causal date night.
All of the dishes we ordered were delicious, but I particularly loved the squid entree! The Gin Pho cocktail was unique and so tasty.

I’ve been wanting to visit for a long time and my experience was beyond expectations.
Our waiter was a lovely young man who knew the menu exceptionally well and was able to offer recommendations based on your needs.
As it was just my fiancé and I, we opted for the $48 “tasting menu” for two. It came with 6 “entrees” which were massive portions (we even took some home) and a free drink each. Great value for money!
The food was incredible and cooked to absolute perfection with so many exciting flavours.
I will definitely be back ☺️

Celebrating a birthday is always a special occasion, and this year was no exception. From the moment we arrived at the venue, it was clear that the evening was going to be memorable. The staff greeted us warmly, and their friendliness set the tone for the rest of the night. Their attentive service allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience.
The culinary experience was the highlight of the evening. Each dish was meticulously crafted and presented, reflecting the chef’s dedication to excellence. The flavours were rich and balanced, leaving us savouring every bite. For added enjoyment, the open kitchen provided a fascinating glimpse into the artistry behind the dishes. Watching the chefs work with precision and passion was a treat, enhancing the connection between the food and those who prepare it.

Hands down a solid ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ experience!
I’ve been here a few times now so this isn’t luck; everytime has been fantastic. The food is delicious, fancy, fine dining at its best. Well cooked meals with stacks of flavour.
On this occasion, I was here for an event so we were in the private space upstairs which added to the atmosphere. This occasion was a catered event so we had several dishes and a Henschke wine tasting experience. Honestly a well catered for event. The staff are very friendly and professional and make the time even better.
Of the finer places to dine in Adelaide, this is certainly up there in my favourites for sure. Definitely recommend a visit!

Thank you, Georges Adelaide, for blessing us on our 100th day together. The service was excellent, with professional and friendly staff whose knowledge of food and wine was truly impressive.
The food was absolutely delicious, especially the signature lamb press, which was the best lamb dish I’ve ever had in Australia. The romantic ambiance, combined with the open kitchen, ensured we were never bored while waiting for our meals.
We chose the 5-course feed me menu, and the well-thought-out selection and outstanding quality of the dishes made it perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The highlight was the dessert—complete with a chocolate and cookie platter featuring a message celebrating our anniversary. It was incredibly touching and the perfect way to end our special day.
Thank you once again for making our day so memorable!

Beef entree is outstanding.
The service is extraordinary we had the end of financial year on the second floor.
The guy kept topping up our wine without us asking for it! He walks and looks a bit robotic in a good way. We enjoyed it. As looks funny and he looks like one of the actors in the movies. Anyway absolutely professional as he didn’t spill the wine with that pouring speed. Hard working waiter! Thank U for the service!

What a fantastic meal!
We had booked on-line so our table was already waiting for us.
We had a wonderful dining experience last night, especially given the complex dietary requirements in our group. The staff were incredibly patient and accommodating, with the waiter making several trips to the kitchen to confirm ingredients, nothing was too much trouble.
Every dish was a delight, and we tried quite a few. Standouts included the vegetables with haloumi and the curry barramundi, both exceptional.
Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

Only down side was having to wait 30 mins with hungry children, as seemed to be only 2 floor staff on packed restaurant.

First time coming here. Food was nice, but serving sizes for the banquet was NOT GOOD at all for the price you pay. There was 11 people, and the food came out for 6 and 5 people. One small/normal size bowl of food of each dish. You had to super rashen the food between all. The value for money was not there at all, so would not reccommend the banquet.

Was great; although we have to be patient on what seemed a very quiet night.

We had an amazing experience of enjoying “enjera firfir with meat and salad.” The portions were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Great service and friendly staff. Have never had a disappointing meal here. Food is always flavoursome and plentiful. We ordered two of the meat and veg platters and were given a different veg options on each so we could share and try more dishes.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and lots of vegetarian dishes, very minimal meat though. Had the feed me which took an hour to prep, so plan for a few drinks, but full of flavour. BYO corkage is a nice touch though.

We absolutely loved our meal here. We ordered the Vegan banquet and have not walked away so full from a restaurant! So much food with included refills. Everything tasted amazing. The Injera fills you up pretty quick. It caught me out.. I was doing great and then I was suddenly ready to burst. Gladly they have takeaway containers. We’ll definitely be back.

Addis Ababa Cafe brings genuine Ethiopian and Eritrean flavors to West Hindmarsh with their hearty stews and vegan dishes. The cozy thatched decor and warm lighting create a welcoming atmosphere perfect for sharing meals. Their traditional injera bread complements every dish beautifully. A great spot to enjoy authentic African cuisine with friendly service in Adelaide.
