Excellent range & amazing service from the team at Europcar Adelaide. Dylan was an amazing support showing us the ins and outs of the vehicle whilst also giving us some extra knowledge about cars i didn't even know. I highly recommend this business and their ongoing support to those travelling around Adelaide.

I visited your Adelaide branch on 15/09/25 to rent a small car for 3 days. The staff were friendly, but I was shocked by the final price I was asked to pay. Initially, I was told the rental would cost $147, and even after adding insurance and airport return, we estimated a total around $400. However, when it came time to pay, I was suddenly charged around $863. When I asked why, I was told the $147 was a daily rate – not for the full 3 days. Even if that’s correct, the total still felt extremely high and unreasonable. I immediately canceled the rental and went to another company nearby, where I got the same rental for $360 with clear and honest pricing. This was a disappointing experience, and I hope you will look into it and improve transparency in your pricing.

Highly recommended the team at Europcar Adelaide city as soon as we walked in we were provided with excellent customer service by chole and nandana they were happy to help with any questions we had about our rental and made the process easy and simple. When given the car keys we were shown exactly where the car was by Dylan who also provided excellent customer service and he also gave us a few tips about the car we booked and even showed us how to set the car play up.

Would give zero if applicable. The staffs were not even at the office during business hours. The office number did not go through. Had to call the centre to get someone’s attention- waited an hour in the cold. Worst customer service ever (in person, when the rep finally came to the office), he was not even emphatic and sorry about the situation. The customer service representative was wearing his headphone when collecting my keys. Very unprofessional All I can say is..staff need further training …

Had a great experience with Europcar Adelaide City. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Service was prompt, and I was pleasantly surprised with a nice upgrade on the car. Definitely recommend for anyone needing a reliable rental in Adelaide!

Excellent range of cars. Car was gr8 to drive no issues and was able to extend no problem at all through their service team and no question was unanswered. Recommend.

Update: I submitted a complaint incl. a screenshot from my Google timeline of that date, showing that we have been accessing Europcar on time. Europcar had now adjusted the invoice and refunded the extra day charged. Hence, I am adjusting my rating from 2 ✨ to 4 ✨. ---Previous Review--- I recently rented a car from Europcar, and while the experience started off well, it ended on a frustrating note. At pickup, we received a vehicle upgrade since our originally booked car wasn’t available—so far, so good. The rental itself went smoothly, and we returned the car exactly on time according to our understanding of the agreement. However, a few days later, we were hit with an unexpected charge for an extra rental day. Apparently, Europcar claims we returned the car 32 minutes late—just 2 minutes beyond their 30-minute grace period—leading to a full extra day's charge. This feels extremely unfair, especially considering how conveniently it was exactly 32 minutes late. It’s hard not to see this as an intentional way to squeeze extra money out of customers. A company of Europcar's size should have more reasonable policies, especially when such a minor delay (if it even happened) results in a significant extra charge. I’ll think twice before renting with them again, and I’d advise others to be extremely cautious with their return times—because even the slightest "delay" could cost you. At least, make sure to get a written confirmation at time of the return. In the end they know exactly when we returned the car due to the fact that we had to enter the car park where we got a ticket with a time stamp on.
