Had a fabulous consult at Luv Bridal today with Assistant Manager Rachel, resulting in the purchase of my dream dress! Rachel was incredibly professional yet personable from the minute I walked into the showroom, taking the time to understand my preferences and getting to know me. I hadn’t felt so special, listened to and appreciated at any of the other consults I have had at other boutiques (and there has been a lot!!) She was patient, kind and knowledgeable and really customised my experience. She also never made me feel stressed, even though we were working to a tighter timeline and was incredibly positive every step of the way! Even if I didn’t find my dream dress, I would still be posting this review about Rachel! Once we found the dress (the store have a gorgeous selection of off the rack and available to order stock), Rachel had some expert insights and opinions on accessories and veils. At my local bridal store I had the most horrific experience and I left with a dress that was unflattering, uncomfortable and 3 x my budget. I felt defeated and was not looking forward to our wedding at all.

However, I saw a bridal review from a bride with a similar experience to myself who went to luv bridal, found her dream dress and highly recommended visiting their beautiful team.
So I decided to travel to Adelaide to visit the team at Luv Bridal, and I am so glad that I did!

Not only did they help me find my dream dress – they had the matching veil on sale also, and for both items I only spent a fraction of my budget. I left feeling beautiful, and optimistic for our wedding.

I am so thankful to their beautiful bridal assistant Rachel who was more concerned about how I was feeling in each dress, than just making a sale. She helped me try on dresses that were out of my normal comfort zone that I actually ended up loving, and ultimately helped me to find a dress that made me feel and look exactly how I wanted to on my wedding day.

This place is absolutely beautiful, with such friendly staff who are so knowledgeable. The dresses are stunning, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was Amy. She was beyond amazing—so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and at ease, Amy understood exactly what I was hoping for and found the perfect dresses for me. She has such a warm, welcoming personality and made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. My family and I attended the store on Saturday (20th Sept) and had such a wonderful experience. I was able to try on five dresses that I had selected from the online catalogue prior to the appointment. The team asked me to rank them, and my top choice ended up being the very last dress I tried on. Each gown was beautiful, and I found it so difficult to choose—until I put on the final one. I forgot about all the other dresses.

I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names, but I know Rachel was one of the lovely ladies assisting me. Both staff members were incredibly kind, supportive, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process.

At first, I didn’t say “yes to the dress” as I had another appointment elsewhere. The team reassured me that as long as I find my dream dress, there is no pressure for me to choose one from this store. And as luck would have it, I found a dress I also loved at my other appointment. But when I called back and shared my dilemma, Rachel kindly squeezed me in for a second try-on that same day. The moment I walked out in the dress again, I knew it was the one. It sealed the deal, and I have been so happy with my choice.

When my veil from another store won’t come in time for my wedding, I messaged Jenny & Gerry and they were able to quickly locate my exact veil and look at ordering it in for me. Their response times are incredibly quick and very helpful!

I bought my bridal gown from Jenny and Gerry’s, and could not recommend them enough. The initial appointment with Sally was a wonderful experience, and she made what could have been an overwhelming experience very calm. The quality and range of dresses they stock is incredible, and my dress was everything I could’ve dreamed of.
We also used Jenny & Gerry’s suit hire for the groomsman for our wedding, and the service and end product was perfect! The staff were great during the suit fittings and the whole process was easy and smooth. Would highly recommend again for suit hire!

I will forever treasure how Sally looked after me on my wedding dress journey. From our very first consultation, she quickly picked up on my style and the details I loved most in dresses. She even suggested for me to visit the store again on a specific weekend because a new line was arriving that she thought I’d love — and she was absolutely right. I recently visited Jenny & Gerry’s for a mini luxe bridal appointment in the search for a wedding gown. As a self conscious plus size girlie I was truly dreading the experience and felt that nothing would flatter me. In feeling so overwhelmed by the whole process I called in the lead up so many times with so many questions that were always answered. I headed over with my full bridal party in tow and we met with Maria who I’m almost convinced was born for this role. She made me so comfortable, I felt so supported and it didn’t take long for her to switch me out from feeling negative to feeling confident. I truly had THE moment in what is now going to be my wedding dress. Tears and applause ensued by all as the girl who couldn’t imagine feeling like a princess bride – ended up looking like one. My advice for any bride to be – book the private session. It was amazing. Worth every cent. I can’t stop looking at the photos as I eagerly await my dress to arrive. Maria will always be remembered as one of the pillars in my wedding prep for every way she made me feel in looking for my dress. Thank you so much.

I got married in May of this year (2023) wearing my beautiful gown from Jenny & Gerry’s.
I had my appointment in Jan 2023 with Sally and she was absolutely amazing. I got to try on so many different gowns and Sally was so helpful with advice and ideas on some gowns I was on the fence about. Then when the one came we knew it was it. She made it all so comfortable and fun, I wish I could do it all over again.
Fast forward to the buying and alterations. I spoke with Tonia most of the time and she is EXCELLENT. I cannot recommend her enough if you get to speak with her. She was so professional and so caring as well. I ran into some issues but Tonia went above and beyond to solve them for me.
Alterations with Michelle just behind the shop were great. Every time I went in was better and better and I couldn’t wait to try on the dress each time. My dress fit perfectly after seeing Michelle.

Jenny & Gerry’s also offer dry cleaning services on the gowns for that post wedding freshen up and it does take a bit of time, but I was in no rush as I obviously wasn’t going to wear the dress again anytime soon. But upon picking up the dress the lovely Tonia was there and we went through and looked at the dress and veil before I left and it was beautiful.

I had an amazing experience here, again Tonia was an absolute pleasure to speak with and was so helpful throughout the whole process. I genuinely wish I could do it again. Thank you ❤️

Wow this place was very incredible… the staff were highly professional and sensitive to the clients desires and weren’t pushy or rude at all. The bridal store also has quite the collective (which I thoroughly enjoyed trying on) of beautiful dresses and all within a decent budget. It was my first and only bridal shopping experience and I said ‘yes to the dress’ so that just tells me how awesome they are. I highly recommend Adelaide Brides & Blooms!!!

Really enjoyed my experience so far, I’ve had 2 appointments and said “yes to the dress”. The staff offer great suggestions, provide feedback and naturally help hype you. I also didn’t feel like my body was too large to try anything on, I tried on plenty of dresses that allowed me to see how they would look on my figure. Looking forward to the rest of the process.

The staff saw my idea images and chose dresses similar and some they thought suited my body type and style. They were friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and discreet with privacy. I could not have had a more lovely experience with Sue at Adelaide Bridal Emporium. I went in feeling deflated after falling out-of-love with my original dress and needing to buy a dress of-the-rack due to time constraints. Sue was so kind and helped me to find the perfect dress. The other ladies there were also so lovely & helped look after my 8 month old while I tried on dresses as I was by myself. Very thankful to Sue for the experience I had & so excited to wear my beautiful dress!

I’m soooo picky of picking the perfect grad dress and they helped me so much with trying different styles I wouldn’t normally go for to even style I would. I have been to 6 different stores in Adelaide to find the perfect dress and I was soo convinced I wouldn’t find one to the point i was going to travel to Sydney to look. My daughter wanted pink and Jasmine picked all the dresses. Even different colour/styles that came in pink just for her to try.
So patient and attentive to what my daughter wanted and how she wanted to look.
Even when we said we were going elsewhere to check out some other options – Couldn’t fault the teams service

Princess Collection are the bridal store you didn’t know existed but will be so happy you found. The store is clean and classy in decor. The stock is beautiful, with the bridal collection being from the various labels under the Pronovias Group – and they also stock formal dresses perfect for bridesmaids. The staff are so friendly and supportive – to the point I turned up just before 4pm on a Saturday (closing time) and they stayed for another 40 minutes after this so I could retry a dress. They answered endless questions in the lead up to the appointment also – so patient and helpful. Princess also has in-house alteration services that are very cost effective and at times free with new purchases – you can’t go past that! After 10+ bridal stores and 50+ dresses tried on, at Princess I found “the one” for a fantastic price. I recommend visiting this hidden gem!

I recently got married and purchased both my wedding dress AND bridesmaids dresses from this store. I absolutely LOVE my dress, and the service was incredible – the staff were very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. The selection of dresses was well-curated to make decision-making easy, and the quality of their items is amazing! Also, the prices are VERY reasonable – I couldn’t believe the value for money I got with the three dresses, veil and hairpiece that I purchased from them. They were very accommodating with all of our schedules for the various try-on and alteration appointments, and we felt as though we were being treated like family rather than just customers. I had an amazing experience at Bridal Couture, all thanks to Erin! When I first came to the store, I wasn’t sure about my size and the dress I loved was only available in size 8. Erin kindly checked with the warehouse, and although it was only available in size 14, she suggested we order it and do alterations.

With only three weeks until my photoshoot, I was nervous, but Erin kept me positive and reassured me that it would be ready on time. Sure enough, the dress arrived two weeks before the shoot, and Erin worked her magic with the alterations.

When I tried it on, I couldn’t believe how perfect it was. beautifully fitted, every detail just as I wanted, and it looked more stunning than I ever imagined. I truly love my dress and honestly felt like I wanted to wear it every day!

The staff and support at Adelaide Bridal couture have now helped us with two dresses! They are now our go to for formal dresses with fabulous, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and great timelines. The range of dresses and styles was broad, and the alterations service excellent. They took care of us as school ball and formal customers with as much care and consideration as any bride to be!

Erin was fantastic, I didn’t have a booking but was looking for my dream wedding dress. Erin was with another lady as my mum and I walked in but greeted us with a warm smile and allowed us to browse then helped us pick some dresses out and although there was alot of switching in and out not once did she make me feel like I was a pain in the ass, she allowed us to go away for a day or two and think about what dress I wanted and we came back with my grandma so I had to do another round of switching dress to dress once again Erin was so friendly about it! The best part was that she is also a seamstress, I went to other places that offered no help just styling and didn’t have seamstresses on board which was annoying as my wedding was planned within 6 weeks due to my dads ill health. I really recommend Erin and this store!
Even gave us a free bottle of Champaz with the dress and viel which was unexpected but lovely.

I have the most amazing experience trying dresses here! I was helped by Abby and SHE IS A SWEETHEART ❤️ She is so freaking lovely and kind. She made sure I found the dress I really like. We tried so many dresses and she patiently helped me try all I want ❤️ I went earlier than my appointment time and finished later but they are still amazing. Really recommend coming here because they also have sooo many stunning sale dresses for affordable price. First store I visited and found my wedding dress. I went home with a very happy heart. I went to this store in a bit of a panic, one week before my wedding. I had a dress, but wasn’t completely happy with it, Val was great. She suggested I bring the dress in the next day when Zhu her designer was in the store which I did. They made an amendment to my dress which made me feel much more comfortable and I had the best day thanks to them! Zhu knew exactly what I wanted and they were both calm and lovely to deal with. Wedding Whispers really saved the day!!

horrible experience do not recommend. i visited a few weeks ago after looking online and saving a few dresses i was interested in trying on for my formal only to turn up and not be able to try any of those dresses on because of their size. almost all of their try on formal dresses were a size 6/8 (all the sizes ran small as well) i mean im a size au12/14 usally and could only try on one dress properly there. staff were lovely and kept offering me to at least see if a size 6 dress could fit but there was only one dress i tried on there that could actually fit on my body which was very disappointing and upsetting as trying on dresses is supposed to be a fun experience. in future i recommend the company have some more of each size for try on dresses or at have a larger more middle grown size that can fit most bodies.
ended up buying one of the dresses i saw online from wedding whispers online at a different website for 200$ cheaper so save your time and order online

I had a wonderful experience and Wedding Whispers, both for my initial wedding dress shopping and for my dress alterations! Staff gave me space and time to look through gowns on my own and make selections without pressuring me with gowns that had a higher price tag! I didn’t want to wear white and unlike other stores where staff had been quite rude about this the staff at Wedding Whispers were super accommodating and respectful of my choices for my wedding day.
Jasmine and Val were really helpful during my consultation helping me get into all of the gowns, but also offering advice on what worked well with my body shape, etc. Once I was settling of the final one they answered all of my questions.
My gown arrived even quicker than expected from overseas, and I needed 4 appointments to finalise alterations to perfection! Harpreet was incredible with different ideas to achieve what I wanted and her patience never waivered.

The most wonderful experience! I was looking for a high school formal dress, and not only was the selection, assistance but the overall service absolutely phenomenal! Further, I required some alterations, and the service, once again, was fantastic! The employees are highly knowledgeable and the quality of the dresses are excellent.

Very rude and rushed, if they can tell you’re not interested in any dresses they lose interest in you and want you out the store. They have no interest in the customer, only the sales.
After trying on wedding dresses, we asked to look at bridesmaid dresses but was told we only had 10 minutes remaining even though we booked an appointment at 1:45pm for 1 hour but was told at 2:05pm we only had 10 minutes left.
Definitely won’t recommend and would honestly grab the name and brand of a dress you like in store and buy elsewhere.

From my first appointment Davis made me feel at home in his studio. I didn’t know what I wanted and Davis helped guide me in the right direction without being pushy. In true bride fashion, I changed my mind a few times and Davis was always accommodating. He created my dress with love and care. The end result was truly amazing. I absolutely loved my dress and I loved working with Davis.

Absolutely unique experience! Personally requested tailoring for suit jacket and shirt which was returned in flawless quality and precision, have recommended a number of friends and family to have one-off and elegant designs brought to life. Worth a contact for brides, grooms, performers, special occasions, tailoring… Absolute hidden gem!

Having Davis make my dream wedding dress was one of my favourite parts of my wedding. I came to Davis not really knowing what i was after but I had a million images of things that i liked. He helped me design what ended up being beyond perfect. He listened to my every comment and concern, ensuring that i looked and felt my very best! The fabric and lace that we needed for the dressed was sourced seamlessly by Davis and I trusted his opinion and guidance.

Davis created a beautiful bridesmaid dress for me to take back home to the UK for my friend’s wedding.

Davis was really helpful in the creative process which included ideas from both myself in person, and the bride’s wishes, which were relayed through me, which was a little difficult.

I was really happy with the fabrics chosen, the cut of the dress, the cost and the whole process was stress free. I felt we worked collaboratively to ensure the dress was right for everyone, and that the few necessary changes that were made during the making of the dress were a non-issue due to Davis’ adaptive nature and ability to think outside the box.

Davis nearly ruined my wedding day by making a tacky, poorly designed and unfinished dress that was unwearable. He is not capable of designing curtains, let alone bespoke, designer wedding gowns.
Davis is disorganised, rude at times and insensitive. He didn’t listen to me even when I came to him with clear design choices and photographs of what I was after. I wanted a one if a kind, unique wedding dress that reflected my personality. Instead, I was given a scrappy dress made from pieces of overworked silk covered in stains of coffee, chocolate and Davis’ sweat. I was disgusted with the lack of service that a so called designer delivered and I had no option but to buy an off the rack wedding dress three days before my wedding. Davis was then difficult again when we approached him for a refund and only ever returned 1/3 of what the dress cost. The whole experience was absolutely horrific and he has put me off of ever having a dress made again.

It has also been interesting to see some of the other 1 star reviews here and that he ‘lost interest’ in other projects as well, as that’s exactly what happened to me and the language he used when we approached him for a refund. He cancelled so many of my appointments, often 30 minutes prior to our appointment and that is also reflected in other individual’s reviews. There is a clear pattern. His rudeness and attitude is also clearly visible in his responses to reviews, instead of simply and humbly taking accountability for his work.
