A great place for those wanting to see something a bit different when it comes to vintage. Young, hip, retro, a van with a cold/hot drinks, music playing, creating a good vibe while you relive what your parent's house had in the 70s (mine threw it all out). Wonderful selection of vintage clothing and bags, some jewellery, old cameras, records, prints and bric a brac. Go check it out if vintage is your thing.
Loved it, real retro feel, playing retro music, some really great vintage clothing not to be found anywhere else. Lovley gem of a store to be experienced and explored, loved it, will definitely be back. Some very unique items, great collection of vinyl records.
Awesome selection of vintage treasures, clothes, furniture,nick knacks, vinyl, games, toys. You name it, they have it. The coffee was amazing too. This market place is exactly what Adelaide was missing. Bonus that it’s open 6 days a week too.
We went in on opening and had an absolute blast. It was definitely busy, but this was expected for opening weekend. I feel like on a regular day it'll be the more chill vibes I prefer. We found some really epic pieces, and for prices that I felt were good ($35 for a v. Cute black dress). The setup is also very cute and aesthetic if you're looking for some stylish photos while out.
Opening day was buzzing and exciting. MDG over all has lots of stalls, different vintage styles and decade to choose from. Ranging from the 50s through to 90s and 00s! Quality and procured vintage apparel. There was also quality repurposed clothes and furniture. The coffee was great and fast! Cafe staff work well under pressure without compromising on quality. Yum! Staff were friendly and helpful! The volunteers were also super friendly and happy to share their experience.
This is the most amazing place. There's amazing vintage furniture, furnishings, glass wear, ceramics, vinyl, clothing, hats, t-shirts. It's a real treasure trove. It's also home to a Big Shots coffee van.
