What a shop! Nothing like it in the country. I travelled all the way from Queensland to set foot in their door. 33 years operating such an amazing business. So much stock across such a wide range to choose from. Adelaide should be so proud to have such a wonderful place to not only shop but meet a fabulous business couple, who have changed the face of retail in Adelaide.

Finally a clothing store that caters to men specifically. The style is incredible as well, there are so many cool American clothing pieces and vintage fashion to choose from. It can be pricey but the brands as new would be pricier and let’s be honest the older stuff that brands used to make are better and have stood the test of time for a reason. The decor in store is amazing as well and Kate’s little Knick knacks like incense or penant flags that she sells are so cool. She’s always chucking stuff out for cheap too and she has a great knowledge when it comes to the pieces she sells. She is always honest if something is imperfect and will discount it heavily. To those complaining about customer service, personally I’ve never had a problem. The staff here don’t put on customer service voices and follow you around trying to sell you stuff, they do their own thing and are there if you need them. That’s how it SHOULD be. I don’t want to be pestered by sales people and this is one of those few places where I’m not dealing with fake customer service salesperson voices and condescension. Music always fits the vibe in here too which is a nice finishing touch. This is exclusively where I get my clothing now as a man, and I’m always getting compliments on the clothes I wear from here. The best clothing shop in Adelaide easily.

This iconic shop is always our first stop when visiting Adelaide. The range and quality of merchandise is second to none - unique in the country. Fabulous style, great customer service, terrific value and exceptional location. Midwest Trader is destination retail at its best!

Definitely one of the best shops in Adelaide has a lot of unique cloths and items. It has new and second hand stuff from shirts, hats, jeans, stickers and cowboy boots. But what makes this shop worth visiting other than the items they stock is there customer service and hospitality has always been great. I would definitely recommend visiting this shop there is actually a Wilson’s carpark right next to it for convenient parking.

Best quality vintage in Adelaide! Midwest Trader is an East End icon. When near Rundle Street you MUST pop in. Guaranteed you'll find a unique piece that you can't get anywhere else here. The dogs also love adding to their bandana collection.. Thanks again Kate!

I sourced items for an editorial shoot, and not only was the selection incredible, but the team was super helpful and genuinely passionate about what they do.
