Shop there if you want to as they do have a beautiful range of dresses but the policy of trying ONLY 4 DRESSES A DAY is a little weird ( even though my daughter tried on around 6 dresses by accident) So I do thank the assistant for that. However, I travelled an hour by train into town as this place was recommended to me, only to find out you can’t try as many dresses as you to was disappointing. I think the assistant must of assumed we weren’t serious about buying a dress on the day,therefore, I went elsewhere . Went to Myers’s and bought a beautiful dress there ( in the same price range). My daughter was allowed to try on more than 4 dresses at Myer. She tried on 15 dress and some styles more than once to find the perfect style and Color.

Terrible customer service. Went there and the workers never acknowledged me. On top of it I had terrible walking to the stairs with a pram. The worker never bothered to show concern toward the customer. Be sides that , they have beautiful dresses

We came to your store yesterday with our daughter to find her a formal dress. There was only one lady on and she did an amazing job with looking after us and helping my daughter try on many gowns. The only reason I could not give you the full five stars is for the lack of suitable packaging for the dress. When you pay $920. For a princess gown with beautiful beadwork you do not expect for the dress that be shoved into a bag that was way too small for it and took quite a bit of shoving to get it barely in. Luckily our car was close by where we quickly got the dress out and laid it across the back seat to prevent any damage to the dress. I think the way you package the dresses after sale needs to be re-thought about. This was our second purchase at this store and if the occasion were to arise again for a gown then I would still come back here and hope some more thought had gone into how they are sent home with the customer. I wish you guys well and I know it is never easy running a business and we all have our own flaws in some way.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Copycat Evening Wear today! I’d had my eye on a stunning dress for a while, and when I finally went in, the lady and gentleman working there were so helpful and welcoming. They made the whole experience of buying it fantastic—I felt comfortable, confident, and absolutely beautiful. In all my excitement, I forgot to get their names, but hats off to them for their incredible service. If you're looking for something special and want to feel like royalty while shopping, this is the place to go! Well done, Copycat Evening Wear!

I would not recommend Copy Cat for anyone looking for a positive dress shopping experience. The service was extremely disappointing. The staff member who assisted us seemed uninterested in our needs and didn't take the time to help us find the right dress. Instead, it felt like she was just pushing us to purchase anything, without any consideration for our preferences or budget. It was a frustrating and unhelpful experience, and I definitely won’t be returning. If you're looking for genuine service and a more personalized experience, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I recently went to copycat to find a specific outfit for a special birthday. I was given exceptional customer service by a lovely lady named Lita. She was really helpful, polite, couldn't do enough to make my experience enjoyable. She didn't do the hard sales that you experience in some retail outlets. Instead she helped when I needed it and gave me her opinion when asked. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a formal outfit go see copycat. You won't be disappointed.

It was a horrible experience. I went in to try on Formal Dresses as I am a bigger girl, and people I knew had recommended the store as being Plus Sized friendly. None of their dresses are true to sizing. I am a size 16-18, and none of their 16-18 dresses fit me. And the vast majority of the dresses in there that I actually liked didn’t go past those sizes. I left feeling so ashamed and horrible, and almost completely cancelled going to Formal over the matter alongside the fear of not being able to find a dress. One thing I did like about the store though is that they offered layby. I don’t think I will be bothered going here again in the future, and if you’re a bigger girl like me, I don’t recommend this store.
