La Chiva Taqueria

This is by far the best Mexican place to eat in Adelaide and will forever be my favourite dinner spot in general!! The food here is amazing the best quality ingredients and flavours are immaculate. Highly recommend the pollo, chorizo and pulled pork tacos!! My partner recommends the birria taco, barramundi taco and the nachos! We have not found one item on the menu that we don’t like!! The service is excellent love coming in to see the friendly front counter lady every time we come in, I will never get sick of this place and tell everyone about how amazing this place is! As a coeliac everything being gluten free is the best knowing I won’t get sick and the food tastes good!! The restaurant itself is so cute and aesthetic! Taco Tuesday is my favourite day of the week prices are so good!!!!

Best meal I have had in years. It was so hard to choose as everything sounds so tasty on the menu. Great place to share plates and try a bit of everything. We shared the nachos with pulled pork, the pork belly and fennel taco and then the duck taco. All the ingredients a so SO fresh, amazing can’t fault it. The service is also delightful and very welcoming. I am coeliac so had to email and ask some questions, they were so excellent with communication, and if you are coeliac - even better as everything is gluten free. Cute little Mexican Restaurant in town. Serves up some great tasting Mexican dishes. Loved the flavour and variety they had. They are also licenced and serve delicious cocktails. The staff are very friendly as well. Nice little sitting area inside.

The dishes were nice and seasoned well. Staff were friendly. We enjoyed most of our dishes especially the aguachile and barra tacos We ordered Aguachile, Barra Tacos, Birria Tacos, Housemade nachos with chimichurri, and Michelada .

Grabbed a quick lunch after doing the markets and it was great to find a gluten free friendly place so close by. The Tacos were delicious (the two pork options being my favourite) and looking forward to coming back and trying the other ones as there’s a great variety. Fresh and flavourful, good portions and great service, I’ll be back!

Stopped in for lunch on a trip to Adelaide. Delicious tacos, lovely atmosphere, great staff. Wish I could go back until I'd tried the whole menu!

The service is lovely and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxed. I loved the plantain chips, gobernador tacos (prawns) and spicy margaritas. The menu is 100% Gluten free. We were a big table and everyone got their meals at the same time. The toilets a bit hidden on the pub next door, so not the most comfortable set up but it won't stop me from coming back again.
