A very authentic Indian restaurant with absolutely delicious curries. The staff there are incredibly friendly and accomodating. Smiley service and so welcoming. Food served fast and can accommodate to different tastes and levels of spice. You absolutely need to try the cheese naan bread. It’s like no other! We will most definitely be back for authentic and tasty curry. Oh and the mango lassi was to die for!
Was in Adelaide for a week and we chanced upon this restaurant and my god is this restaurant a hidden gem. I have no idea how the frick a line isn't formed outside to eat this delicious food. I ordered chicken biryani and my misso ordered veg biryani and this was hands down the best Biryani I have had in Australia... I am now sad as they don't have a branch in Melbourne... I attached a pic of the plates they served and it's empty .. not a single grain of rice left...
Very disappointed with this food quality. The naan and roti were very rubbery and chewy and tasted stale. All the curries were covered in a thick layer of oil that we had to scoop out before eating.
Great food for a reasonable price, plus you can get some discount from the Eat Club app. Not too busy so you can get plenty of seats. The curries were packing a lot of flavour and tasted amazing with the garlic Naan.
We snagged a Groupon deal for some grub, getting chicken tikka, rita, and papadum to kick things off. The chicken's got that perfect marinade, Rita's a double dose of refreshment, and the papadum? Crispy heaven. For mains, we picked beef masala and chicken curry – both winners with well-balanced flavors. Beef's got that savory kick, while the chicken's got a hint of sweetness from tomatoes. The meat? Super tender. Rice was on point, fragrant, and the plain nan rocked with the curry. Finished it off with homemade mango ice cream – creamy, dreamy, and the crushed pistachio added a nice crunch. Overall, a bang-for-your-buck and oh-so-yummy experience!
Bit disappointed with the Onion Bhaji as it had a different texture to what we have had at many Indian restaurants. The Beef Masala & Goat curry had great flavour. The Roti was nice but a little oily.
I enjoyed this restaurant as it was quiet, quick and easy to order food. It was my last day in Adelaide and I came across this place. I ordered the butter chicken and some garlic naan. Both of the items were ok but nothing special. I found the butter chicken curry was very thin and almost soupy. I wish the sauce base was thicker. The chicken pieces were good and tasty and not too hard so that was a bonus. I also didn't like how oily the garlic naan was. The atmosphere of the restaurant could need some improving as well as it felt very lack luster. Overall it was an ok experience.
