I went here for dinner yesterday. It was a very nice and pleasant place to dine at. It was quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a great selection of food and beverages. I thoroughly recommend eating here, you won't regret it.
When we first walked into this place it was like wow. The ambience and decor were quite impressive. The food unfortunately I could not rate the same. We ordered the spring rolls for entree, Sichuan lamb and the special fried rice. Don't get me wrong, the taste was nearly there, but if you are going to put exuberant prices, make sure the meal lives up to the price. Sichuan spice should leave your tongue numb with a peppery taste. This felt like it had black pepper and no real zing of chili. And my thoughts on special fried rice would have been something additional to the ordinary pork, egg and green onion flavoring which go into this old favorite. Nothing special about this. And there was no hint of soy sauce in this traditional rice dish. Not worth $18. These dishes have been designed for the Western bland taste of Adelaide which I'm not getting used to very quickly. Cannot wait to go back home for real food.
Came here and had the all you can eat buffet. The service here is quick, but it was the type that you have to wait for the food to come to you,so most of the time we had to wait for 10-20 minutes until we got something that we liked. As time passed more customers gradually came and the place was packed with people. This caused that many of the food that we really wanted came out the kitchen was gone before it got close to us. Although, the way the food is served was weird for me,but some of the food was pretty good, such as the chicken feet. I HAVE TO SAY THIS: It is an all you can eat. When I had too much food the person told that we should leave some for the others. I was so shocked, like what do you mean. Another that happened was the women serving the dessert dropped the mango pudding of the tray and some on the floor. The person passing by told her to clean it up,she did throw the ones on the floor but pretended the ones that fell out the plate was still clean and tried to serve it to us. Because we saw it we asked her politely to have a different piece and she just looked at us with disbelief and rolled her eyes. BAD SERVICE. Quality of food:2/5 taste good but some hygiene problem Atmosohere:3.5/5 Service:2/5 Will I come back:Maybe? But unlikly
Dinner before the markets. Beautiful place. Great atmosphere, polite and friendly service, awesome tasty authentic Chinese food.
Food was fantastic. Service was first class, very friendly and loved the chat. It was a reasonably quiet night allowing staff to interact. Everything was reasonably priced, including the well appointed wine list.
Went for all you can eat lunch, everything I had was really yummy in my tummy, it wasn’t funny. Delicious, enjoyed my experience went into caveman spec ohhh ohh
Service staff were good but it's confusing unless you have been to this establishment before. Yum cha was decent but no menu, so you have to know what they have and what you want or you say yes to what's being offered to your table and hopefully the offerings appeal to you or you get a variety of choices. My drink order was incorrect twice but the food was ok for the price. I'll go back again to try this place, because I want to like it and I see great potential for this place. Disabled people will find it hard to navigate the dining areas and no place to store a walker. I did request this in my booking.
