Myself and a group of friends visited in the evening to celebrate a birthday and we all had the most incredible time! The meal was so delicious, I cannot rave about the food enough. The meat, salads, rice, veg are all amazing.
It was our first time eating Korean BBQ as the staff were so helpful, polite and attentive. They were also quite the showmen/women with fun and extravagant drink displays throughout the night. They caught wind it was our friends birthday and surprised us with sparklers and icecreams too! We left full and happy, and I’d definitely go back for another special night!

Tried 82 GoGi for the first time, and it was a fantastic K-BBQ experience. Loved the convenient online ordering system, and the staff were very helpful. All the barbecue meats were flavorful and I enjoyed all the side dishes too, especially the kimchi fried rice. The hip modern vibes and the K-pop playing in the background were added bonuses, taking me back to Seoul!

Amazing food and service! All the staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcomed.

Feed me deal for $65 is such great value. Best quality meats and side dishes! Dont worry about the quantity because there’ll lots of variety of food to fill you up. It will definitely fill you up plus more.

P.s. They gave us free Soju bombs to finish the whole experience!

Will definitely come back next time!

Erilikun (MEow)

Perhaps this is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurant in Adelaide. A set for two will make you full. Try the shake shake rice and fries it with the BBQ stove to make it hotter and crispy (my way), delicious. The pork are well marinated and there a plenty of dishes to try.

We had the set menu A for 2 and it was pretty good. Definitely recommend the Galbi beef ribs as they were tender and well marinated. The salads and kimchi were delicious too. The rice was a bit blank while the spicy noodle salad was quite saucy and I ended up mix them together which turned out pretty good. The grill can get burnt easily after a while and some meat were burnt as we didn’t turn them over regularly though.

Great range of ingredient choices and easy ordering with the QR code system. You can split the soup pot and try two different broths, which is a nice option. There are also hot food items available. Plenty of broths to choose from. We really enjoyed the tom yum. Prices are reasonable too.

Upstairs seatings. Best to make a booking as its very popular place. However staff sometimes stuff up the bookings and you’ll still have to wait a while. The soup bases were good though. Delicious broths. Spicy ma la is really spicy. The tomato soup base is quite tasty. Ingredients came fresh. The meat slices are good quality. Overall on the pricey side, but you get the value for it.

The Kitchen presents a stylish dining experience within the casino setting. While the ambiance is appealing, the food quality appears inconsistent based on several accounts. It seems a focus on fresh ingredients is occasionally missed, resulting in dishes that don’s quite meet expectations for the price point.

Despite potential shortcomings in the kitchen, the service is consistently praised. Many find the staff attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant overall atmosphere. It’s a spot to consider if you prioritize a lively environment and helpful service, but manage expectations regarding the culinary execution.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return

Unfortunately, the food at this restaurant really missed the mark.
• The octopus was tough, not fresh, and completely lacking in flavour. It felt like an afterthought.
• The beef tartare was overly salty and incredibly bland. This was actually the first time I’ve ever had beef tartare and not enjoyed it — really disappointing.
• The smashed potato was a scam. It wasn’t smashed, nor was it crispy. It was just a baked potato with some parmesan sprinkled on top — nothing like what you’d expect from proper smashed potatoes.
• The sourdough bread was actually great, but the menu promised whipped butter, and what came out was cold, hard, regular cut butter. Definitely not what was advertised.

Service was good and the staff were attentive, but unfortunately, the food was not enough to bring me back.

Food was amazing service was amazing
Only disappointment was the price was double what we would pay at meat and wine co or gauchos we had the TOMAHALK shear steak but st $200 a kg especially at the casino and the long weight is not worth the expense. The music was to loud to talk with grandma (they did turn it down a bit eventually) but other than that the food was exceptional then just need to have more weigh options especially over the weekend. Keep in mind this review Is from someone who frequently goes to the high end steak restaurants

Second time dining at The Kitchen, and it proved the first great experience we had wasn’t a fluke! Second time I’ve been here when visiting Adelaide, I felt like they definitely deserved a review. This restaurant served me the best steak I have ever eaten. It was so tender and juicy, it was like cutting through butter. I got the “220G EYE FILLET MB3+ BLACK ONXY”
Medium rare. The starters & sides were amazing aswell. I got the freshly baked sourdough, pickled heirloom cherry tomato, pistachio honey carrots, and smashed baby potatos. I can’t remember which steak my father got but he said his steak was great aswell. The service is amazing and the atmosphere here is very nice. Definitely coming back here once I visit Adelaide again.

Citi Zen Restaurant offers a notably relaxed dining experience. The atmosphere is consistently reported as peaceful and the staff are generally considered to be attentive and helpful. It appears that it aims to provide a refined setting for a leisurely meal, prioritizing a quiet ambiance that allows for comfortable conversation and enjoyment of the food.

The menu presents a selection of dishes with a focus on Asian cuisine, though feedback suggests a tailoring to broader palates. While appreciated for its variety, it’s important to note that the experience may not always match elevated price points. Value and expectations are key elements to consider when deciding to dine here. The service is a recurring highlight.

When we first walked into this place it was like wow. The ambience and decor were quite impressive. The food unfortunately I could not rate the same. We ordered the spring rolls for entree, Sichuan lamb and the special fried rice. Don’t get me wrong, the taste was nearly there, but if you are going to put exuberant prices, make sure the meal lives up to the price. Sichuan spice should leave your tongue numb with a peppery taste. This felt like it had black pepper and no real zing of chili. And my thoughts on special fried rice would have been something additional to the ordinary pork, egg and green onion flavoring which go into this old favorite. Nothing special about this. And there was no hint of soy sauce in this traditional rice dish. Not worth $18. These dishes have been designed for the Western bland taste of Adelaide which I’m not getting used to very quickly. Cannot wait to go back home for real food.

Came here and had the all you can eat buffet. The service here is quick, but it was the type that you have to wait for the food to come to you,so most of the time we had to wait for 10-20 minutes until we got something that we liked. As time passed more customers gradually came and the place was packed with people. This caused that many of the food that we really wanted came out the kitchen was gone before it got close to us.

Although, the way the food is served was weird for me,but some of the food was pretty good, such as the chicken feet.

I HAVE TO SAY THIS: It is an all you can eat. When I had too much food the person told that we should leave some for the others. I was so shocked, like what do you mean. Another that happened was the women serving the dessert dropped the mango pudding of the tray and some on the floor. The person passing by told her to clean it up,she did throw the ones on the floor but pretended the ones that fell out the plate was still clean and tried to serve it to us. Because we saw it we asked her politely to have a different piece and she just looked at us with disbelief and rolled her eyes. BAD SERVICE.

Quality of food:2/5 taste good but some hygiene problem

Service staff were good but it’s confusing unless you have been to this establishment before. Yum cha was decent but no menu, so you have to know what they have and what you want or you say yes to what’s being offered to your table and hopefully the offerings appeal to you or you get a variety of choices. My drink order was incorrect twice but the food was ok for the price. I’ll go back again to try this place, because I want to like it and I see great potential for this place. Disabled people will find it hard to navigate the dining areas and no place to store a walker. I did request this in my booking.

Coal Cellar + Grill: Feed Me Experience for Two – Disappointing Overall

The evening started on a high note – the starters set strong expectations. The oysters, kangaroo, and salmon were all delicious, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the quality dropped sharply with the mains. Visually, they resembled an average pub dinner. Out of the many sides on offer, the chef’s choice for us was a bowl of plain leaves and chips – an uninspired pairing. The chicken was completely tasteless, with the only redeeming dish being the beef.

Desserts were beautifully plated but lacked flavour impact. The brûlée, in particular, had an odd texture reminiscent of mashed potato rather than a smooth custard.

Service was average for a busy Saturday evening, but lacked attention to detail. The table was not wiped between courses, and without asking, the waitress opened another bottle of sparkling water and served it to us.

Overall, the experience did not live up to expectations. While the starters showed promise, the rest of the meal and service fell short. Not an experience we would repeat or recommend.

We had the most memorable Mother’s Day lunch at Coal Cellar and Grill. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and elegant – perfect for a special occasion. The food was absolutely outstanding: beautifully plated, full of flavour, and made with quality ingredients. Every dish was a delight.

What really stood out was the incredible service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and a special shoutout to Jai, the manager, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that every guest felt looked after.

It’s rare to find a place where food, service and atmosphere all shine – but Coal Cellar and Grill delivered on all fronts. Highly recommended for any celebration or when you simply want to treat yourself to something truly special.

A definite must try in town for steaks. I was impressed by how tender and soft the beef check was that it was literally shedding as we pick it on to our plates. The shi cuan potato is a must have, it was bursting with flavors and not spicy at all. Tomahawk was the highlight of the night- it did take 45mins to be ready which was mentioned in their menu but it was worth the wait. Ordered medium rare but some parts of it did not make us feel safe to eat as it looked too rare.. overall would definitely come back to try their mayura wagyu!

The service by Aref was excellent!
Made recommendations on the steak’s and wine.
He came to check on my steak and I highlighted it was overdone, after I decline to change he gave me a complimentary glass of wine!
Also ensured I got the in house guest 10% discounts when I asked for the bill.

Food wise steak was good, would be excellent had it been cooked to my preference.
Wine was ok as I didn’t order the top grade.

Overall I would say it’s good!

I recently visited the Coal Cellar and Grill at the Hilton Adelaide for my participant’s birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing given the reputation of the Hilton.

We chose the express lunch, which included a main and a glass of wine. The meal began with garlic bread, but we had to request side plates. A lemonade was ordered, but it arrived in a bottle that I had to pour myself.

My participant’s meal was lovely, however my prawn fettuccine was undercooked and unpleasantly firm. It was returned to the kitchen and came back slightly improved, but still not the standard I would expect. Plates remained on the table for a long time before being cleared, and we had to ask for the dessert menu. Dessert itself was delicious, but the hot chocolate I ordered never arrived. The server later mentioned it was intended to be served after dessert, but better communication would have been appreciated.
Would have been lovely to of wished my participant a birthday greeting as I did mention this when booking.
Good old Customer Service has sadly disappeared.

Overall, the service felt inconsistent. The only polite interaction from the main server occurred at the register. While the food had some highlights, the service and attention to detail were lacking. These small issues added up to a tarnished experience, which is disappointing as I’ve always considered the Hilton to uphold a high standard.

Been going to go here for ages and we finally made it. Wife had the Wagyu, cooked medium rare and was perfect. Mushroom sauce was just like eating mushrooms it was so tasty. Kingfish carpaccio was so fresh and flavoursome, scallops were great too. The cheese plate was a pretty big serve for one and well worth the $20. Crème brûlée was great too. To finish we had a Espresso Martini, one of the best I’ve had. Well worth the visit and will go again. Staff informative and friendly.
Sorry not too many photos as we were too busy eating it all be for we remembered

I’ve tried Pakistani food from many different restaurants, but this one truly stands out. The biryani was incredibly tasty yet light, just the way I like it. I also ordered the chicken handi, paired with paratha naan and garlic cheese naan, an absolutely perfect combination. To top it off, I had a mango lassi, which was refreshingly delicious. If you’re craving authentic Pakistani cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Also I wanted to share a bit of feedback that might help improve the overall experience.

I’ve noticed that the dining area tends to feel quite cold, especially during longer visits. Also, there’s a refrigerator nearby that occasionally gets a bit noisy, which can be slightly distracting during meals. If possible, perhaps a small maintenance check could help reduce the sound.

I’m sharing this with the hope it’s helpful. it’s a lovely place and I’m looking forward to coming back again soon. Cheers

We had a poor iftar experience at Spice and Spoon. The biryani was a major disappointment, lacking any noticeable masala flavor and consisting mostly of plain white rice, chicken handi and qeema were watery, and the naan was stale and hard. Iftar items were below average too. Service was slow, with long wait times for refills. The tea was also subpar. Overall, a waste of time and money. We won’t be returning.

Had a splendid food experience at Spice and spoon. The staff specially the owner is very sweet and friendly. Food is fresh and delicious. Naans are so soft and they literally melt in your mouth. My most fav is their channay ki daal. It was just outstanding. Overall the experience was amazing. Having Pakistani food in another country is just amazing ♥️

Spice & Spoon is hands down my favorite Pakistani restaurant! The food is not only fresh and authentic, but the taste is absolutely outstanding — rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and truly satisfying with every bite. Each dish feels like a celebration of real Pakistani cuisine. The staff are always polite, respectful, and make you feel so welcome. Excellent food, excellent taste, excellent service — I highly recommend Spice & Spoon to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Tried chapli kabab which is not near the authentic taste, in itself taste was okay but chapli kabab mainly consists of meat but their chapli kabab has almost no meat, 10%meat rest vegetables. Service was good and on time. A bit noisy environment.

I recently tried the goat biryani and goat karahi at this restaurant, and I have to say, they should really rename them “fat and bone biryani.” The food was a disappointing experience, to say the least—the worst I’ve had in quite some time. I don’t need to say much more; the photos speak for themselves. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, which is a small consolation. I won’t be returning.

We love it here so much, been going to this place for many years. They have lots of options for everyone including kids. They have just upgraded the place where we can grab what we want and cook it, so much easier compare to ordering from a waiter/waitress. Time is crucial especial when we have hungry kids. The food taste amazing and the service is 10/10 nothing is ever too hard, the staff always smiled and happy to assist us. We have 3 kids and sometimes it’s hard to go out to places, but Gong never disappointed us.

Been to GONG many times in the past years, still the best BBQ in Adelaide, the quality of food is excellent and totally transparent because it’s cooked by yourself, so you will know how good they are before you cook them. Price is also cheap, comparing to many other BBQs. And recently they have a lot of new sticks. If you are not sure where to go for BBQ in Adelaide, trust me go to GONG and you will not regret.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and the view from the restaurant was beautiful.
The food was amazing – we recommend the duck and steak, which were both cooked perfectly. There was a small hiccup with a chipped glass and a napkin that had a bit of a smell, but the waitress handled it quickly and without any issues. Overall, really enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing night out.

Garçon Bleu is truly one of the finest dining experiences in Adelaide. The food was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly flavourful – every dish was a delight from start to finish.

A special thanks to Amine, who made our evening even more memorable. He was exceptionally gentle, knowledgeable about the entire menu, and a genuine pleasure to talk with. His warm and attentive service added a personal touch that really stood out.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for an elevated and welcoming dining experience.

Great food and lovely dining experience!
We came on a weekday evening and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too crowded, making for a relaxed atmosphere.

To start, we had the langue de bœuf escargot. The thinly sliced beef tongue was beautifully crispy and paired perfectly with the rich garlic cream sauce and tender escargot, an excellent appetizer.

For mains, we tried the honey-glazed duck breast and the filet de bœuf. The duck breast was heavenly, tender with a crispy skin and just the right touch of sweetness. The filet de bœuf (a tenderloin) was cooked medium rare with a lovely char, perfectly executed.

For dessert, we shared the chestnut and pecan tart and the chocolate custard. The tart was good, though I would have liked more filling and crust. The chocolate custard was nice, but would have love with darker chocolate.

Service was excellent. Both our waiter and the sommelier were attentive.

A solid choice if you’re staying in—stylish setting, relaxed French vibes, and a touch of city sparkle. But what truly stood out was the service.

My waiter, Sudin, turned the evening into something memorable. Warm, charming, and effortlessly professional—he brought a level of fine dining finesse that elevated the whole experience. A truly memorable experience at GarconBleu!
We had the pleasure of being served by Lilian, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about each course. His passion and insight really elevated our dining experience. If you want a good hotpot, then you need to come to here

Newly renovated, this venue is sophisticated and absolutely stunning. It has a wonderful ambience, great vibe and has a playground with movies for the kids!

With open and private dining areas, this really is the newest go to for your next event, function or meal out!

I’m not exaggerating when I say everything was incredible. But what absolutely took my breath away was the tom yum hotpot. The complexity of the flavour was to die for.
My other favourites were the chicken tenders, just melt in your mouth juicy and the fried ice cream really ended the night on the most perfect sweet note

Cannot wait to come back

Tried hot pot for the first time and we’re officially obsessed!
.
It’s the perfect family-friendly spot — with individual or shared soup bases (we went a double pot with chicken & mushroom), heaps of fresh ingredients to cook at the table, and a self-serve sauce, fruit & snack bar the kids couldn’t get enough of
.
Oh — and there’s even a playground for the little one.

Forgot to Take the “Before” Picture. The Food Was Too Good!

Hotpot Guy has always been my go-to comfort spot, but after their recent renovation, it’s even better! The ambiance is fresh and inviting, and the service is impressively fast without feeling rushed.

Of course, the star is still the food, so delicious that I completely forgot to snap a “before” photo of the hotpot (a true testament to how irresistible it is). Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-timer, the quality and flavor never disappoint.

Highly recommend for anyone craving a cozy, satisfying meal with top-notch service. Hotpot Guy keeps getting better!

We had an excellent time at the hot pot guy. It was quite a different dining experience (a little chaotic) to what we are used to with the kids but we enjoyed it. The staff were so attentive and explained everything well. The food was fresh and delicious. My son bit his lip while on the playground and the staff rushed to help with ice and apple juice to cheer him up. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service. Would recommend.

I would say it is a high-quality hotpot restaurant with two thumbs up!

I’m always wary of Chinese food abroad. Foreign Chinese restaurants often cater to local tastes, resulting in dishes that are far from authentic and usually disappointing.

Hotpot, however, is something I think is relatively easy to get right. So when I saw a hotpot restaurant, I went in.

We (five of us ) tried three different types of broth: tomato beef brisket, pepper pork belly, and clear broth. They were all made with real ingredients and definitely worth praising. It’s amazing to find authentic Chinese hotpot abroad!

The South Australian lobster and fresh fish (fearing that they wouldn’t have them, we had called and made a reservation before we went) were cooked in the hotpot, which best brought out their natural sweetness. The restaurant’s homemade pork and fish paste balls were also excellent. Overall, it was a great meal.

Keep it up, we will definitely come back again.

Tip:The broth was initially delicious, but adding more broth after it boiled down made it too salty. Personally, I prefer adding water instead of more broth.

Great River Korean BBQ offers a fun and plentiful dining experience. The buffet option is a major draw, providing a wide selection of meats and sides to enjoy. It’s a popular spot, and reservations are recommended. The quality of the ingredients seems quite good, contributing to a generally enjoyable meal.

The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant appears to be well-maintained. Authentic charcoal grilling is a significant advantage over places that use gas. While it might be best suited for larger groups to minimize food waste, the sheer variety and generous portions make it a worthwhile visit for those craving Korean BBQ.

We been to this place for many years and always select the Buffet options. They have recently renovated the place, and they have provided more variety of food selections in the buffet menu. Their food is quality and all the flavour is amazing! Including the fried chicken our kids love it so much. Best part real charcoal is used to cook our BBQ not this gas stove that some Kotean restaurants have. It’s so authentic here, great price, great food! Highly Recommended

Fried chicken is one of the best foods—but there was a foreign object in the food, and I almost ate it. I told the staff, but the way they handled it was terrible. Near the end of our meal, they brought over a plate of meat and said, “This is because you complained.”

What are we, beggars asking for handouts?

There was something wrong with the food, and now it feels like we’re being treated as if we’re just trying to get something for free. Thanks for treating me like a beggar—really appreciate it.

Also, please use ice water to keep the prawns fresh. They were rotten and still served to us. Do you really think your customers are pigs?

This place is a complete scam. Customer service was absolute rubbish. They advertise ALL YOU CAN EAT, but the moment you order a few prawns, suddenly they claim “out of stock.” Biggest joke ever – meanwhile, other tables were still being served prawns right in front of me. That’s straight up dishonest.

At first the food came out fast, but after two rounds it became a nightmare. I had to wait nearly 20 minutes just to get one plate of oyster blade beef. Even that only came after I chased the staff. If I didn’t ask, I probably wouldn’t get it at all. Clearly, they drag their feet on purpose so your time runs out and you can’t eat more.

Staff attitude? Rude, careless, and couldn’t care less about customers. For the ridiculous price they charge ($40–60), it’s a rip-off. Not worth a single cent.

This restaurant is the definition of false advertising and poor service. Avoid at all costs. No wonder they’re sitting at a lousy 3 stars out of 700+ reviews – and honestly, that’s generous.

I’ve dined at Great River Korean BBQ Restaurant several times, however, this particular experience, from a service and hygiene perspective, was disgusting. We began by entering the restaurant with the female employee ignoring us until about approximately 5 minutes of standing. We then waited at our table waiting to be served for about 15 minutes until we realised the employees could not be bothered to take our orders. From previous experiences I have always been served from the table but this particular time I assumed the staff may have been busy and gave them the benefit of the doubt. For the entire night we had to walk up to the counter to order from the menu ask for napkins, collect cutlery, and more due to the staff being “really busy tonight” which was the complete opposite service which I had previously. Regularly the female staff was on her phone and every time she had brought the food over she was extremely rude both verbally and physically. She forgot to bring our rice and salad and stated that I had never ordered it in an extremely rude manner. In addition, the cutlery and glasses were clearly not washed to the standard you would expect. The food was extremely inconsistent with some meats being a satisfactory standard whilst others were old and undercooked, and a piece of fried chicken was raw. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting with growing mold, dirty toilets, floors and sinks. This experience was extremely disappointing but with a fresh new team of staff that want to work and are willing to be nice, this restaurant could be an excellent establishment like it previously was.
