My car key worked perfectly, the casing on the outside had broken. Casing had been taped for a few days with all buttons on remote still working perfectly. Finally took in to get replacement casing, which they said they could easily change over. Came back to pick up keys and they told me “there’s a problem with my keys so now half of the buttons don’t work” - still charged full price and I questioned as to why it was working perfectly with the old casing, eventually gave up as they shrugged and would not give me the key without paying full price. Asked my mechanic to check key at next servicing, he took it apart and told me that there is now actually a part missing (that is very hard to find replacement for) and that is actually why the buttons no longer work.
The guy at Marion Locksmiths lost this part while changing the key casing over and then lied about it and still charged full price ….
