The Piccadilly

Such a gorgeous vintage cinema with comfy seats and a chill atmosphere. The architecture is lovely and they do lots of screenings of black-and-white classics as well as cult movies from the last 30 years or so. Parking can be hit or miss depending on how busy it is in the city, but it's close to lots of restaurants and cafes. A great place to go for a date night!

Fantastic upgrade! The bar/cafe area is a delight. The new Boutique cinemas are perfect. Such comfy seats with foot stool and cushion. (Almost dozed off!) Really upmarket. Great quality food too. Keep in mind Row A is at the back.

An already exceptional cinema experience somehow reaches a new level with the transformation of the ground floor cinemas into boutique destinations. It feels like no expense has been spared to ensure Cinemas 2&3 are in keeping with the art deco nature of the building. Lavish, beautiful, and impossible to stay away from. We are hooked.

Loved this cinema, the seats and lounges are extremely comfortable and art deco look just finished it off.

Phase one of renovations complete. Staff are welcoming and attentive, love that you get service with a smile. The set up, the building is unique and such a beautiful historic theatre, very aesthetically pleasing if you are into art deco and classic style. Just Beautiful The theater and sound system are fine, there is ample space between rows of seats, but i welcome the next phase of renovation to install better and/or more comfortable reclining seats. The candy bar and drinks, dining area are small but offers enough refreshments and light meals to cocktails and non alcoholic beverages. Great Hot coffee, the bar and food options are good and price reasonable. Food and drinks can be ordered and delivered to your seats if your movie starts. Also good to know the diner & bar is open to customers that are not viewing a movie, also runs events and available for bookings. Toilets nice and clean. Accessibility lifts are available. The Wallis membership price is not yet active at the Piccadilly so was not able to use discounted member price here.

A lovely little theatre that's been recently renovated. There's a lovely little bar there, and they can even deliver food to your seat in the cinema(great when you're only just in time to see the movie ). The seats unfortunately weren't so comfy, and rather small. The staff there were all very nice and friendly, and so helpful too. The food (wedges) were very nice, it was great to eat hot food and sip on a gin and tonic while watching the movie.

The Piccadilly is a wonderful experience . I loved how the complete building has been updated to reflect how it looked on its opening day. It was an emotional day for me because too few examples like this still exist . Good job , well done !
