What this directory is

Adelaide Link is an informative directory of businesses and professionals in Australia. Its purpose is to help you find and compare businesses. We have no relationship with the businesses listed unless expressly stated, and we do not provide the services they offer: any agreement you make with a business is between you and that business.

Using the website is free and you do not need to register. By using it, you accept these terms.

Where the data comes from and how accurate it is

The business data (name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, photos, rating and reviews) comes from publicly available sources, mainly the profiles that the businesses themselves publish on Google Maps, and from what the businesses send us. We write the descriptions ourselves from that data, with the help of artificial intelligence services.

We try to keep everything up to date, but the data may change without our knowledge and we cannot guarantee that it is accurate or complete. Before you travel or hire a business, confirm whatever you need with them.

How businesses are ranked

The businesses in each listing are ranked by a score out of 10 that we calculate automatically by comparing each business with the others in the same listing. It combines the business's average Google rating, its number of reviews and its position among the others, which also takes into account whether it shows a website, opening hours and photos. For the same rating, a rating backed by more reviews carries more weight. Businesses marked as closed go at the end.

Businesses on the paid Featured plan appear in the top positions of their listing and carry the “Featured” badge. Payment does not change any business's score or the order of those that do not subscribe.

Reviews

The reviews come mainly from Google Maps, with the name and photo their author chose to display there. We show a selection of up to seven reviews with text, preferring the shorter ones, and some may be shown automatically translated. We do not check that their authors have been customers of the business. We show them to give an idea of public opinion; they are not ours.

On listings with the Featured plan, the business can choose which reviews are shown and add others that it sends us as being from its customers; we do not check that these are genuine either. The rating and the number of reviews we show are those on Google, taking into account all its reviews, good and bad.

If you wrote a review and do not want it to appear here, write to us from the contact page choosing the reason “My personal data” and we will remove it. If you believe a review is unlawful, use the reason “Report illegal content” and we will review it.

If your business appears in this directory

You can correct its details or ask us to remove its listing at any time from your business management page; we only ask you for a brief reason. Each listing also has a link at the end to do so.

We will send you a link to confirm that the email address is yours. If your email address is the one shown on the listing or belongs to the domain of its website, we review the request straight away. If not, we will ask you for your relationship with the business and a phone number; and if its listing has a contact email the business gave us, we will notify it and it can cancel the request for 48 hours. When we remove a listing, we pass it on to the website software provider, which includes it in its exclusion register: it will not be published again here or on any other website generated with DirectorAI.

What businesses send us

Businesses can ask to be added or change their details using the form. Whoever submits it declares that the information is true and that they have the right to publish it, and allows us to publish it on the website (texts, photos and links) for as long as their listing remains active.

We review each request before publishing it and may decline to publish, or remove, anything that is false, illegal, offensive, misleading or unrelated to the directory. When we reject a request, we tell the person who sent it by email, with the reason when we give one, and they can reply if they disagree.

Reporting illegal content

If you believe something published here is illegal, let us know from the contact page choosing the reason “Report illegal content”, and include:

• the exact link to the page;
• why you believe it is illegal;
• your name and email address;
• a statement that the information is accurate and complete and that you are sending it in good faith.

We will confirm that we have received it, review it without delay and tell you what we have decided and why.

The Featured plan

Businesses can subscribe to the paid Featured plan, which moves their listing to the top of its category and adds other benefits. Its price, how it is paid, how it is cancelled and the other terms are stated on the payment page before subscribing. It is purchased by businesses and professionals for their business activity.

Intellectual property

The original texts, the design and the selection of content on this website belong to the owner. The names, trademarks, logos and photos of each business belong to their owners, and the reviews to their authors; we show them only to provide information about each business. The maps use data © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the ODbL.

If you believe something published here infringes your rights, write to us from the contact page and we will review it.

Links to other websites

The website links to the businesses' websites, Google profiles and social media. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content.

Liability

The website is provided as is, for information purposes. We are not liable for any damage that may result from using the information in the directory or from the services of the businesses, except to the extent that the law does not allow this to be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the law as a consumer.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the owner's country (Spain), without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect you as a consumer in your country of residence, and to your right to go to the courts where you live.

Changes

We may change these terms when the website or the law changes. The version in force is always the one published here.
