I was recommended to attend specialised physiotherapy at Human Kind for pre and post surgery. Amanda's expert knowledge and therapy approach has given me great confidence in being able to manage and eventually resolve my health needs. The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is one of authentic welcome and connection with clients and members alike.

A little bit about myself, I have severe hearing loss, its not that I can't hear its that I might miss interpret what you say, therefore I'm a highly observant person and aware of my surroundings. I love to draw figurative and landscape Art. I've had positive experiences with the Human Kind Team being recognised, giving me a sense of self worth ! A good morning, hi Mark, how you going ? Yogi member's are talkative and respectful too. In two relationships which were important to me, I finally walked away from 24 years of narcissistic abuse, where I felt controlled, manipulated and not respected. I worked extremely hard everyday to just get myself up, out of bed and head to Yoga on a regular bases. Why did I stay in those relationships ? For my now 3 adult children and 2 teenage children. Yoga has been a vital part of maintaining my mental heath and keeping my body strong, I started Yoga in 2001 with Sue Czuchwicki (Yoga Fusion) then in 2023 with Ellie Johns (Equilibrium) and continued my journey on with Human Kind in 2024. All the staff at Human Kind have been very supportive, shown respect, kindness, a smile and a sense of your OK, we've got your back. A special thank you to Annabel Saies your encouragement has been amazing."Your on a good pathway Mark" Jemima Thomson for just listening and not judging. Triton,Tessa, Adam, Becca, Ben, Claire, Alicia, Brendo, Dan, Juanita, Mila, Nicola, Temeka, Steve, Tom, Tyler, Vanessa, Virginia, Bianca and Pippa you have all played a role in my journey of healing. I have felt save at Human kind, I'm a self taught Yogi, I believe Yoga is meditative, if you can connect your breathing with your body, mind and spirit then this is the highest sense of balance, once in this space. I feel nothing around me, "I feel balanced and strong" its an amazing feeling.Regards Mark Bennett

I’ve been to humankind physiotherapy quite recently for shoulder restriction and am having the best treatment with Alison. She’s professional, listens well, works with you, and target treatment plan for realistic bite-size outcomes. Thank you . I’m so pleased you’re able to guide me up the hill to where the sun shines .

Recently I saw Ben whilst performing at the Adelaide Fringe, I had ongoing issues with pain in my forearms which impacted my performance on aerial apparatus. I had seen a sports doctor in Melbourne but to little/ no improvement. From the outset, Ben's hugely practical approach to identifying the problem was to a level of detail I hadn't encountered from other professionals. He conducted a number of tests and questions, and then subsequent tests from my responses which gained a much more accurate diagnosis I had previously received. For me I would recommend Ben mainly for his understanding of how varied lifestyles can be and that for some people, particularly those with highly physical jobs, taking an extended period of 'rest' or 'time off' simply isn't an option. Instead he works around your lifestyle to find the best solutions, both short and long term. To that end we found exercises during Fringe that prevented my injury from worsening and managed my pain while doing 6+ acrobatic shows a week for the month. I strongly believe that my performances were sustained to the best of my ability due to the care I received from Ben. As well as his clearly extensive knowledge of the body, Ben was excellent at being extremely specific in his suggestions and instructions, explaining the more complex scientific and physiological stuff, having no problem answering my endless questions about recovery time etc. and also just checking in that you as a patient and person were happy with how things were going. His knowledge and professional manner while being very open and approachable are a hugely reassuring quality that I think is invaluable when injury recovery can be so demoralising and daunting. The exercises and suggestions he gave me to continue since leaving Adelaide have brought my pain to the lowest it's been in 6 months. He also does some awesome needling which I would highly recommend. The guy's a bloody legend.

From the moment I first walked into the reception area @ Human Kind, I could feel that I was in a place filled with light and positive energy. Annabelle, on the desk at the time, was so welcoming and helpful and made me feel 'at home'. I joined in the coversation and as I was experiencing pain @ the time this was a welcome diversion. From my first session with Sam, the physio, I felt totally supported. He is a great listener and is empathic, taking a holistic approach to the treatment. Good sense of humour as well.Very important! I have continued with my treatment on a semi regular basis and always find it a relief and pleasure to once again, walk through the door into 'Human Kind'. Sue Formby

Sam and the HK community have been wonderful. I recently had back surgery and I have been supported every step of the way. From a follow up email, phone call, hands on therapy and at home exercises. It has been lovely to work through this process with Sam and Becca. Would 100% recommend!

I have been going to Human.Kind on and off for 4-years, it is such a welcoming community that I always seem to find my way back! I love that they offer a magnitude of classes including Pilates and meditation, alongside their yoga offering. I have also seen the physios at Human.Kind which have been a huge support in my overall health journey. Couldn't recommend more!
