I’ve been working with Kylie for a couple of months as I needed help to manage my period pain, drained energetically and felt “stuck”. Kylie suggested to observe the food i was eating regularly, aiming to eat whole foods, considering stress management techniques and helping to supplement the nutrients my body wasn’t absorbing. I had a wonderful experience working with Rohan. I felt heard and understood in all of our sessions and felt like I had a say in my health journey. I brought a lot of concerns to my first appointment and he helped me figure out where to start to get the biggest impact on my quality of life from the get go.
At commencement I was exhausted, struggling with bouts of insomnia and my biggest challenge at the time was my immunity. I was getting colds, flus, respiratory infections every 4-8 weeks which was having a huge impact on my life – I felt upset, hopeless and down with situation and GPs telling me “oh that’s normal”.
After working with Rohan my sleep has improved, I feel calmer, and biggest thing is my immunity has improved significantly. I don’t want to jinx myself by saying how long it’s been since I last caught a cold even… but let’s just say it been a while !!

After 3 failed jaw surgeries including a jaw reconstruction all within a 7month window, I was told I had stage 4 arthritis with the only solution being full jaw replacement, I was 30, and on a high dose of prescription pain relief daily. 12months after my jaw reconstruction I had emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder, easy to say my body and mind had been through a lot, I was in uncharted waters while recovering. My reason for signing up with The Method Now was quite different to what most people would think. I am a female in my 50’s and that brings a whole new ball game physiologically as well as mentally. I am quite active but also a shift worker. I was constantly having sugar cravings after night shifts and always tired and lethargic. I signed up with The Method Now after having worked with two other nutritionists. They were both good, but their approach wasn’t something that worked well for me personally. I like to know why I’m doing things, and I also like to record and track. After reading up on The Method Now’s approach, I thought I would give it a go and hopefully be matched up with the right nutritionist who would understand my goals, my ‘style’ and my cultural background (and how much it influences my love for food!). I started this journey with the intent to get more in tune with my nutrition and macros to lean up. But it is so much more! My Coach Jimena is basically like a Life Coach. Not only do I get my macros for the week, she gives me meal ideas and recipes, encouragement for my journey and understanding for my (what I call) short comings or weaknesses. Fitness motivation and even ideas for some goals I’m wanting to achieve. She wants me to tell her all about my day, my mood, my fitness and my progress so she can factor all of that into my nutrition.

Erin provides top end nutrition advice in a very professional, friendly and easy-going manner. For my last event, I had a time goal set. My training unfortunately dipped in the last couple of weeks (cause life happens) before the event and I resorted to possibly not making my goal anymore.
