My son has been attending Edge Early learning for just over a year. I was so nervous for his transition into childcare but the team made us feel so welcome and at ease. My son is so excited for his childcare days and I love the daily photos and description of their days. The food is next level and their days are filled with fun, educational and inclusive activities. We adore the whole team at Plympton, we couldn’t have found a better childcare for our boy!
Hannah Vincent

Absolutely love Edge Early Learning Plympton! My son loves going there and they have fantastic educators who update us on their daily activities. The chef on site is also amazing and my son always eats like a king on his childcare days
Ellen Yang

My daughter was 12 months when started at Edge Plympton two days a week.
She was outgoing but a very tricky sleeper, co sleeping and only ever accepting Mum. However the educators were amazing and helped my daughter gently transition into our new routine with me returning to work. Now sometimes sleeps better at Edge than at home! Nice knowing my daughter is in safe loving arms, receives nutritious and delicious food and has such good child and adult interactions on her childcare days. Very thankful I choose Edge Early Learning Plympton!
Lydia Windley

My family were welcomed into the Edge community in 2022 when I returned to work after my first born.
The modern facility has opportunities for learning across all areas with a broad curriculum delivered by wonderful educators who took the time to get to know our family and how to support our child best.
The transition process is communicated clearly and updates are provided of your child daily through their Story Park app, not to mention the on-site Chef who prepares an amazing range of nutritious food!
3 years later our second child has now begun their journey at Edge. We can’t recommend the team at Plympton enough, our children love going to see their teachers and friends!
Stephanie McNeil

Going to work is challenging and then leaving your child is even harder. Knowing I am leaving my child at Edge Early Learning and he is happy, safe & has amazing food makes it that little less harder.
Each and everyday he has come home from there for the last 4 years he has been happy, wanting different foods and learning so much.
The team are great there and the educators really make a huge difference to my child’s life, they are often spoken about at the dinner table.

My son has been attending Precious Cargo St Peters for the past two years, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff are incredibly warm, caring, and professional, always ensuring the children feel safe and Loved.I am so grateful for the loving and supportive environment Precious Cargo St peters has provided for my son. I would highly recommend it to any parent seeking a quality daycare where their child will thrive. Thank you to the entire team.
ANEEK MHZN

My daughter has been going here for 2yrs. She loves her daily food, and found some really good friends here. I was surprised how the change of management has improved things in daily details. My daughter stopped losing her belongings and small incidents are always followed thoroughly. And this year’s Christmas party is just fantastic! Overall it’s a very mind peace facility to have my child here. It’s noticeable that the team is putting a lot of effort into their work.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Precious Cargo St Peters for our 2 kids attending Pre-Kindy and ELC. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive and professional, creating a warm and nurturing environment. The facility is clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of space for play and learning.
Our children come home excited to share stories about their day, which speaks volumes about the positive atmosphere.
We also appreciate the regular updates and open communication from the staff, ensuring we always feel connected and informed. Highly recommend Precious Cargo to any parent looking for exceptional care for their little one.
Ramsha Saleem

We first enrolled our eldest when he was 4 months old (as other childcare centres would not consider enrolling any earlier than 6 months) and our youngest just under 4 months old in the Nursery. What drew us to Precious Cargo St Peters was the convenient location, flexible drop off/pick up times to accommodate those of us who often work late, offering the additional dinner and of course, nappies and formula (whereas other centres do not necessarily supply all of the above).
All the directors/educators/chef of St Peters, both past and present, have all been wonderful, contributing to our two boys’ growth and personal development. What makes a great childcare centre is the people – the staff at Precious Cargo care about each individual child and work tirelessly (even if they can be quite challenging) to ensure your child can get through the day with plenty of fun hands on learning and collaborative play. Our boys (currently in Wadlers and Kindy) are excited to be continuing their Precious Cargo journey.
Jessica Nguyen

My son has been at Precious Cargo for a year and I have nothing but good words to say for everyone at St Peter’s. He has transformed into a confident and happy boy who looks forward to going to childcare every day and has grown and learnt so much. The practical life skills he learns every day has helped so much at home. Renee is amazing and is always available to talk to and happy to help with any situation. All the educators are so friendly and you can see they really love their job and have such a strong bond with all the children in their care. I would highly recommend Precious Cargo St Peter’s to anyone!

Guardian on Flinders is a fantastic centre. The staff are friendly and very engaged with the children. The centre is clean and well resourced and our daughter enjoys her time there. The centre Manager is fantastic and has a true passion for the care of the children and is actively responsive to families needs or desires for their child. It’s like having an extended family. The food provided to the children in balanced, varied and nutritious not to mention it sounds delicious and often catered to the different cultures of the children which is great. Would highly recommend if looking for a Early Learning centre in the city.

We have been at this centre for a year and half now. Leah has done an incredible job with the childcare centre and her team since she has been there. My daughter absolutely loves it there and our other newborn daughter is about to start and Leah and the team are very excited for her to start. We love it here because we feel like family and not just a number and that is very important to us knowing the staff care for our babies really well.

Our experience with Guardian Flinders street has always been fantastic. The space in each room is not only huge but warm and inviting with lots of resources and activities always set up for the kids. The menu sounds incredible and always has a nutritious variety of foods every day. My children have formed close relationships with their lovely educators and they are always informative when I pick them up to let me know how their day went.
Lisa Phelps

An exceptional facility, located in the heart of the city, with caring, dedicated staff. Our little girl has been going to Guardian now for some time and and has progressed through the various stages, starting as a shy, reserved child downstairs to now wanting to go see her educators and friends upstairs with the ‘big kids’. Diverse, inclusive and supportive, Guardian Flinders Street is managed wonderfully by Talia and her team who forge lasting relationships with the children, create memories through their play and education and share outings and experiences in the city. Big shout out to Courtney and Laura who have supported our daughter and helped her thrive at Guardian. Could not recommend highly enough!
Tom Fowles

After starting at another centre and struggling there for 7 weeks we made the decision to move to Flinders Street, somewhat apprehensive.
Talia and the team assured as that despite our prior experience they were confident we could turn our childcare experience around and make it something positive for our whole family.
They have not disappointed us! After an adjustment period our little one now arrives at care without so much as a tear and is happy and smiley when we collect her. It is like a family and we are so so pleased we were welcomed to the centre with open arms! We love Flinders Street and would recommend to anyone looking for a more personal touch from their childcare provider!

Lovely childcare centre – have experienced every room now -from baby to preschool. Low turnover rate of staff who all care and pay attention to the wellbeing and development of the children. There are a lot of siblings across the centre and has a multicultural focus. Nutritious food cooked for the centre children, and opportunity for little ones to explore cooking, arts and lots of learning through play and opportunities to explore independence and risky play. Flexible on additional day requests too. Cute garden and great communal play area. Thorough centre policies which help ensure consistency of care.

Great centre with experienced, caring and multi-racial educators. All staff including admin team are polite, pleasant and professional. My 2 kids attend the centre and enjoy their time there learning and playing. Nice and big outdoor play area. Areas are generally clean which is an important factor for me. Overall conducive environment for children. Oh and the chef makes really yummy meals according to my 3.5 year old 🙂
Melissa Yeo

My kids have been attending City West for almost 4 years. The staff (Educators, Admin and Senior Staff) are always friendly, caring, knowledgeable and welcoming. Families are encouraged to participate in the kids learning journeys. Staff are also available to answer questions.
The kids look forward to the daily adventures at City West.
The layout is fantastic, especially the communal outside play space which allows the children to interact with children of all ages and all rooms.
We have made life long friends through City West.

Positive. Nurturing. I only have good memories here. My son was here from 6months to 5 years old and became the best version of himself. I thank this childcare abudantly and highly recommend it. Am sending my 2nd one eventhough it is far from where we live. It is multicultural, and a lot of emphasis on respect.
Anas Safri

In our experience, this has been the best childcare that our little 2 YO has been to. We had to move to Adelaide for a couple of weeks, and I was soo worried to find a good childcare for our son, but I contacted the team, went for an inspection and in the same week he was in. No waiting list, the team really cares about each kids needs and help them with their development. It’s very multicultural and friendly. We won’t hesitate to recommend this centre, because it’s very good.

I would always say this is a hidden “gem” in the city. This center offers quality care for every child. The number of children they have provides an opportunity to build and develop secure relationships with their educators and teachers. Families are happy. It’s very easy to arrange days of care. I love how children are involved in their sustainable practices. I always recommend this center!
Life in Australia with Kate

I highly recommend this childcare centre. They have smaller groups, and low staff turnover, so our kids made solid bonds with their teachers and the other kids, leading to some lovely friendships. The food is great, so our kids were always well fed when we picked them up. The staff are genuinely caring and professional and offer an actual education, not just ‘child-minding’.
Mittag Delikat

Absolutely love this daycare. Lovely and dedicated team, they really care. Spaces are great and thoughtful approach to toys, games and spaces. Super inclusive x
Maddie Harris

Highly recommend this childcare centre. Caring staff, professional management, happy children.
Prior to starting at City Community Children’s Centre, my daughter had been going to a Treetops centre. I was reluctant to change daycares, as she was already shy and reserved. She would struggle with drop off’s. Changing to CCC was the best move I made for her personal development. Within weeks she started looking forward to going to daycare and came right out of her shell.
This daycare doesn’t have the fancy apps you’ll get with a chain centre, but they have something much more valuable, heart. The management care for their teachers/educators and the educators care for the children and families. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of others. Hidden gem for sure!
Kat Queen

In simple words – it’s a hidden gem. I’m glad I found it. My daughter started here as a toddler and I was a single working mother. I would say I got the best support from educators and management in caring my child. She really loves to go there, how she wouldn’t with such dedicated educators? They are amazing and many of them are longtimers. It is a community based, non-profit child care service operating for more than 30 years. I leave to work with peace that my child is in best hands. Knowing them for 4 years, I can say if you want experienced, high level care for your kid, this is the place.

We are very happy with this place and I highly recommend it! My child eagerly wants to come to the Centre thanks to the friendly atmosphere that is created by her educators and other staff members (we have managed to build connections far beyond our room which is lovely to witness). Love the daily updates of what activities they are involved in. The educators go above and beyond to change the curriculum and the rooms set ups to make it exciting for the kids and contribute to their learning experiences. The food is always delicious and kids are often involved in helping prepare the meals.

Fate led us to this lovely little school on Halifax St. The Director, Demi Ikon is a wonderful person, very helpful, supported us massively in guiding and navigating through department formalities, also with the learning plan. All the Educators at the centre do a fantastic job and my daughter loves and looks forward to go to school to play with her friends and teachers. We can’t thank them enough for everything they have done to make our daughter feel welcome.
Amazing school, definitely recommended!☺️

Grey Ward are amazing 🙂
Our son started in June 2021 at age three. He found the transition quite difficult (he had never been in daycare previously) but the staff at Grey Ward were incredible at making him feel comfortable to the point where he now loves going to daycare.
Our son has a developmental delay and the centre has worked very hard to ensure he is always learning, engaged and included.
Our son has progressed so much since starting and we have total confidence in the staff and management of the centre.
Could not recommend more highly.
Andrew Fleming

Our son Nathanael came from France to Adelaide for a little more than 3 months and was enrolled at Barker Kindergarten. We chose this one school for our kid and we couldn’t have made a better decision. The staff has been awesome with our kid (special thanks to Susie and Andrea) who was not knowledgeable of english language, and made him feel comfortable and self-confident all the time he was there. I cannot think of someone at Grey Ward who has not been kind and helpful, and our kid has ended up speaking a bit of english while he was not even 3 years old. We are really grateful to Grey Ward for all that they did for our kid. We will never forget!
Renaud Lunardo

Our two boys have been going to Greyward since the middle of this year. Our oldest in the kindy room. The Kindy teachers are excellent, they run a full kindy program and go above and beyond to ensure the children are engaged.
Our younger son is in the Junior Kindy room, we have seen a real change is his behaviour and he comes home everyday so happy.
We can’t recommend this centre highly enough.
Peta Seaman

Best Childcare centre, felt like family, all staff were wonderful when our daughter went there, learning was amazing and truly prepared her for primary school. We cried on her last day, sad to have to say goodbye to a wonderful community.

Could not recommend Stepping Stone at the RAH enough. Our little one loves going to childcare, as he gets exposed to new positive experiences every time he attends the centre and comes home showing off his new learnings. I was really worried about taking my boy to childcare at a very young age, but the educators made me feel at ease with their professionalism and caring nature. We have been attending the centre for a while now and we feel his development and social skills have fast tracked. Every time I drop him off I know he is in good hands.
Alejandra Osorio

We’ve got two children here, the staff are wonderful and welcoming. They have a group page that shows what our little ones have been learning and they have an on site cook cooking nutritional meals daily. We’ve had no issues here yet, and praise the good work of the carers.

Our child has attended the UoA childcare (North Terrace Campus) for over a year now. Overall we are very happy with our experience. We visited a few childcares before settling on UoA. Things we really liked that put them above other centres include the long-term staff with minimal turnover (so our little one can form close relationships with the educators) and a beautiful, green outdoor area with plenty of space to play. We had a few small issues when settling in, but these were dealt with in a professional manner. The educators are also open to making changes to accommodate our needs (e.g. dietary considerations). Our LO has made some very close bonds with the educators, is happy and in good hands. It will be sad leaving this place when our LO moves on to school.
Chris S

Hi friends,
Although the educators at Kuala room and Pre-school are fantastic, we HAVE TO move to another childcare center because of EXTREMELY POOR customer service and communication to parents.
We had sent our two children here for nearly two months (and seek fulltime – 5 days a week from this month because my husband works fulltime and I study fulltime).
When you have a question, you email them, and occasionally they reply you. Even when my children have to stay at home to wait the PCR results test (they got covid symptons), I asked them to double check the current regulations and let us know if we will be charged because of covid isolation (we are happy to pay, as long as it meets the current regulations), they DID NOT reply but still charge. And so many other unreply emails makes us feels very unhappy.
Although my kids love their educators badly, and moving to another childcare means start from “zero” (my 14 months daughter will cry a lot and it takes time to settle down) BUT we have to move because we seek long-term childcare with good communication with parents.
When studying in Australia, international students who have small children like me need to find good childcare for their children. I am an international student of UOA so our family choose the childcare located at Uni Campus but we are very disappointed. We have to start from “zero” after nearly two months (at the beginning of August, we plan to extend to 5 days a week at this childcare from Sep).
I will never review less than 5 stars on Gg map (we are very easy-going family) for our own bad experiences, but I do review one star for this service – as a review for future international students at UOA: good luck and enjoy your studying journey at an excellent Uni – UOA.
Kind regards,
Dieu Phan

Caring educator and educational environment. My baby loves this place so much and we are enjoying our days here.
Tuvshinjargal Ulambayar Destiny.

Amazing team, professional, welcoming and most importantly healthy, spacious and peaceful environment for the younger ones. Surprised that there are no reviews on this place because we have been to several centres with good reviews but do not compare to UoA ChildCare.. A big thank you to the director Kylie, Irine, each and every educator in Kuula and the preschool rooms!
