We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Glen Ewin Estate’s Steak and Shiraz night, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, perfectly paired with beautiful Shiraz, and the atmosphere made the evening feel extra special. The service from all staff was exceptional, with Mike, ( hope it was Mike) the function manager, being especially attentive and professional throughout the night. A thoughtful touch was the warm cookies served to finish our meal – simply delightful! To top it off, my

I had the pleasure of filming Lauren & Brandon’s wedding at Glen Ewin Estate in May 2025, and it was my first time working in the Gatehouse. What an incredible space! Intimate, warm, and surrounded by those lush, signature Glen Ewin views — it created the perfect atmosphere for such an emotional and joy-filled day.

One of the things I love most about Glen Ewin is how versatile the property is. Every wedding I’ve worked here has had its own unique feel, and the staff are always so welcoming and organised. Whether it’s the Pulpshed or the Gatehouse, they make sure every couple’s experience is seamless.

I’ve always adored Glen Ewin Estate—from the stunning grounds (tucked away so close to metro Adelaide), to the mouth-watering food, consistently top-tier service, and of course… their famous fig gin!

But over the weekend, I had the absolute joy of fulfilling a long-time dream: being a celebrant at this world-class venue. I had the honour of standing before two beautiful people as they became husband and wife, and the entire experience was nothing short of magical.

In the lead-up, the staff were informative, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the day special. On the day itself, I was blown away by Carey, who was overseeing the wedding—she went above and beyond for everyone involved. She’s an absolute gem and so clearly in the right role.

Glen Ewin you are simply perfect—rain, hail or shine. Whilst the ceremony was on the deck, it still looked like something out of a fairytale. Thank you to the entire Glen Ewin team for working so seamlessly with all of us vendors to ensure our couple had the best day of their lives.

Went for a wedding. Set up for the ceremony was idyllic by the Lake. Inside the tables and lights were magnificent. Food was Super. Staff were friendly. A wedding without a hiccup….a miracle. They had a singer there who morphed into an MC. Voice like an angel. Oh…the bride and groom were front page of vogue. Magical day.

We had our Wedding here a few weeks ago and everything went perfectly.
A huge thank you to the amazing wedding coordinator Katie, she was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. She was so helpful and attentive throughout the whole process, making everything run so smoothly.

Super amazing experience. Venue is just incredible. Some really great history.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, the flavors and the wine list.. we were very impressed.

The menu was very hard to choose from as everything sounded delicious. We ended up with 12 dishes.

Everything had so much flavour. Nearly a little too much in some cases and needed d as one bread or rice to cleanse the palette.

We enjoyed our lunch and will be back again soon.

We recently had lunch at Bridgewater Mill for my youngest son’s birthday. My other son has multiple severe allergies and the Chefs were fantastic at adapting his meals where necessary to suit his requirements. We had the feed me menu and honestly had so much food we couldn’t eat it all (I haven’t included photos of all dishes as I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a couple). The food was just delicious and the venue is stunning. We sat outside on a lovely autumn day and took In the stunning scenery. The service was fantastic and we couldn’t fault the wait staff. Definitely recommend!

Had a very lovely afternoon at here. The food and service was really spot on. The king prawn was cooked professionally and very tasty. No need to mention that the good vibe are also very enjoyable. Highly recommended and definitely will come back.

We did the 4 course Chef Selection. The food was very tasty and well presented. To be honest, presentation was better than the taste, but the uniqueness of flavours made up for it. Overall, very filling and happy.
Also recommend the 98 Degrees sunrise gin (distilled in Adelaide), and have a wander around the surroundings before hand.

We had a fantastic Sunday celebrating a friend’s birthday over lunch. When we were first seated, the owner came over to greet us and pass on his best regards. The service was attentive and friendly with great recommendations for food and accompanying wine. Lovely lunch in a warm and cosy sunroom attached to the main building

A beautiful spot with amazing ambience for a Sunday afternoon meal and drinks. Really tranquil and peaceful. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive without being too over-bearing. Wonderful.

I was attracted by the friendliness of the staff when I first stepped into the restaurant. The decoration of the place is unique and cosy. It is a wonderful place to dine and its suitable for family and friends and in any occasions. There are plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant. Love the indoor ambience as well as the outdoor setting. Food is awesome! Love the pork belly, the duck tori as well as the kimchi salad. Met with the Chief Eating Officer (CEO), Greg Hobby, no words can describe how hospitality he is with his guests. Definitely return with friends and highly recommend this place.

We had a great experience here. Lovely rooms and the staff were all very polite, cleaning ladies were wonderful. I think the only “negative” thing I have is the rooms didn’t have an extra lock, so for me having anxiety and being an overthinker, only relying on the key card lock was a bit worrying. If that’s not something your worried abou, then this place is for you!

Stayed in queen room. Bed was comfy . Pillows are very soft ,no supprt. Did notice bottled water was from a coles home brand which i thought was a little tacky.
Went to iron shirt but iron was not clean and white grainy stains came out of iron .
We were out all Saturday and when we returned a foul drain smell throughout the building .
Other than that was suitable for our stay.

Convention centre: Have attended many functions held here so can comment to the venue only. Very versatile with size options.
Location is very picturesque overlooking the parks.
Parking can be a challenge with big events.
Catering and the cafe bar food is reasonable.

Really comfortable stay and good value. Sizable well equipped rooms, very comfy bed and lovely spa bath. Complimentary drink was a nice touch. Staff were really helpful. Located conveniently for food options.

Booked the Éxecutive Suite’ through Booking.com. This was 1 room with a double and 3 single beds. This is a family room, not an executive room and there were 5 adults in our party. It was not made obvious that the beds were in the same room, otherwise I would not have booked it. When I looked on the Sfera website there was no room with this name. 3 of our party booked a rooms elsewhere. There were no opening windows and the air conditioner was extremely noisy and above the bed. Although the bathroom was huge there was 1 tiny shelf. Everything was clean and tidy but we stayed on a public holiday and there were no staff on site.

Great spot adjacent to TTP shopping centre and restaurants etc and public transport etc .. staff lovely, rooms comfortable only problem was having to have car in undercroft from 5pm till 8am so it was safe at night which means not going out at night!

Fantastic hotel with super clean rooms and nice spa baths. Had a room overlooking the park which was beautiful. The bed’s were very comfy, and good selection in the minibar. Cleaning staff were also very welcoming when we saw them in the morning.||Went to the cafe for Sunday brunch and will definitely be back to try their bottomless options!

We can’t drink it, when I bring back at the counter let’s them know very sour they just put a lot of sugar and lemonade in my drink No No professional at all no enjoy.

The Jade is quite a good venue but it’s well past time they spent a little money on the seats in the function room. They are ridiculously uncomfortable and with no back support, and they’ve been the same for at least several years.

What a beautifully intimate venue to watch a show in.
I’m not sure how many people would actually be able to be seated in here (100?), But that is what ads to the charm and the intimacy of this venue. You can almost feel as if you are a part of the show.
Being a smaller venue means that you will have no problem hearing the performance whether it is spoken word or singing, although in saying that, it is mic’d up to enhance the performance.
There is a bar (adjacent to the performance area) which has a great selection of beer and cider both on and off tap as well as a very fine selection of spirits.
I’m lead to believe that food is available, but there wasn’t on the day I went to the performance (Sunday) on account that they aren’t usually open on Sundays.
The staff were also really nice.
I look forward to the next time I get to see a performance there.

Sunnybrae is a truly stunning venue and was the perfect setting for our wedding. We had the pleasure of working with the beautiful Emma who was an absolute joy. She communicated with us so well throughout the entire process and ensured the night ran smoothly. Our bridal party absolutely loved her as she made sure to take care of us throughout the night! We can’t thank her enough for all her help and support. The professionalism of all the Sunnybrae staff is also something to admire. Our guests had nothing but high praise and we couldn’t fault anything! The food was also amazing and this was again complimented by our guests. Our first look of the coach house was by far the most breathtaking. The space has a lot of character and we loved seeing it come to life! Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Sunnybrae is the most gorgeous venue, The Landing and Coach House were our dream space and countless guests told us throughout the night how amazing the food was. They truly make planning a wedding easy. Our coordinator, Emma was absolutely amazing, made sure everything ran smoothly, made sure we as well as our bridal party were well taken care of and had a solution for anything that came up! We adore her and the Sunnybrae team and couldn’t recommend them enough!

Highly recommend Sunnybrae if you are still looking for your wedding venue! Our journey from booking to wedding wasn’t the smoothest due to renovations of the space we booked, but Sunnybrae went above and beyond to make sure we were still happy with our spaces. Our venue coordinator Emma was worth her weight in gold, especially when she brought out canapés during photos to ensure the bridal party ate! She was a dream to work with and I can’t thank her enough. The venue itself is stunning and all of our guests complimented how beautiful it was. The food was incredibly good and again we had so many compliments from guests about this. So glad we chose Sunnybrae.

Sunnybrae Estate is the most beautiful wedding venue. We had our ceremony at The Landing, and our Reception in the brand new IKOS building. The event ran so smoothly thanks to Mallory, the most amazing wedding coordinator! There were nothing but compliments on the stunning venues and gardens, and the delicious and endless supply of food. We are looking for any excuse to hold another event with Sunnybrae!

4.2.2023 – Absolutely stunning outdoor venue. Emma and her team did an exceptional job with our wedding ceremony, making sure we had food and drinks for the whole wedding party. Everything was a breeze and she kept the whole party calm throughout the day. The venue has a beautiful large bridal suite. Multiple areas of choice for the ceremony and reception. Heaps of onsite parking. On a Saturday the location is nice and quiet. Highly recommend this venue to everyone.

We had a fantastic night for our Winter Gala in Henry’s Table at Ayer’s House. The Event Manager, Ria, was so lovely and very supportive in the planning and execution of our event. The staff on the night were attentive and kind, but also kept in the background. The DJ / MC organised was awesome and really got everyone hyped up! The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely keep Ayers House and Signature Entertainment in mind for future events!

Long lunch was delightful. Good food, bottomless spritz and wine was fantastic value and staff super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend ⭐️

Was referred to this venue for a life celebration by a person who had attended a similar function at Partridge House – it was absolutely perfect, great sound, audio, big screen, superb catering, velvet seats, polite and friendly staff, accessible entry, clean, well organised and more. I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Partridge House and it was absolutely perfect! The beautiful heritage setting and lush gardens created the ultimate Garden Party vibe I was going for. The venue had so much character and charm, and the outdoor space was ideal for mingling, music, and drinks under the sun.

Everything ran smoothly on the day and the team was easy to work with in the lead-up, making the whole experience stress-free. All my guests commented on how stunning the location was—it’s such a hidden gem in Glenelg.

If you’re looking for a unique, picturesque venue for a special occasion, I can’t recommend Partridge House highly enough. It made my 30th unforgettable!

We have just recently had our wedding ceremony here and believe me when I say it was the most beautiful day. The gardens were stunning in early November, we had amazing weather which helped too and the team at Partridge House were so amazing! They helped us in the lead up and on the day, were so accommodating to our style and it was honestly the best choice we could have made to get married here. Absolutely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautifully manicured gardens to laze about and have a picnic in. Half the grounds are for public use, the other for your event. Plenty of space inside and out of Patridge house depending on the weather.

Loved, loved, loved our wedding venue, Partridge House. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or better staff that worked with us right through all our planning for the big day. Last minute changes due to bad weather were seamless and our ceremony and reception were perfect. All our guests rave about the great time they had and how perfect the venue was. Partridge House provided a perfect winter wonderland for our wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble for Sally and the team who were so helpful and responsive to all our questions and ideas. The Catering was magnificent with Adam from Instyle Catering really listening to what was important for us and our wedding guests, creating an individualised menu which looked and tasted wonderful.

What a fantastic venue for functions and events! The garden that envelops it is absolutely stunning, further enhancing the charm of the place. We had a corporate event here recently and it was done very well. The food served was amazing.

The staff at Adelaide Pavilion did an amazing job. The food was absolutely delicious and good portions. They did a fantastic job setting up (and this is from a stressed out bride who wanted to do the set up herself). Couldn’t be happier with the place I choose to hold my reception.

Adelaide Pavilion always go out of their way to ensure that our events are exactly what we hoped for. The staff are really well trained, the food is always delicious and the owners are very friendly.

Recently celebrated my mum’s 60th birthday at the Adelaide Pavilion and I highly recommend the venue, location, decor and service! Samantha, in particular, was extremely professional, efficient, friendly and great to liaise with. She was very thorough with all the details and was so organised, ensuring the event ran smoothly. I commend her for her efforts and would recommend the Adelaide Pavilion to anyone.
On the night of the event, Bree and her team were fabulous, ensuring all ran smoothly, on time and all the guests were very well attended.

Our June wedding at Al Ru Farm was nothing short of spectacular! Despite a gloomy forecast, the rain held off just long enough for our beautiful ceremony in the garden by the pond. The reception area was absolutely stunning, and guests loved the canapés by the rustic fireplace near the barn. The food, service, and staff were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. It’s truly a venue you have to see to believe – the photos attached capture its magic perfectly. We highly recommend Al Ru Farm for an unforgettable wedding or special function. The accommodation was fantastic too!

I had my wedding here last week and it was everything I had imagined and more. Over the past 12 months of corresponding with the staff at the venue, they were all exceptional with their response times. So helpful with any questions and welcoming with any visits I requested.
They asked what my vision was, not only did they listen but they definitely delivered!
Al Ru farm is definitely the ideal wedding venue. The gardens/ceremony areas are very beautifully maintained and the barn is absolutely stunning for a wedding reception. The catering staff were very friendly and checking in often.
We will be back for our future anniversary visits.

My sister got married here last friday and
from the minute we drove down the driveway on arrival I was in absolute awe at the beauty of the place! As her maid of honor I arrived early to get ready with her in the garden pavilion which had breath taking views of the outside gardens. It had such a comfy, warm, cottage like feel to it.
The ceremony area was just stunning with the pond amongst the blooming gardens.
The reception area in the barn was stunning with the antique mirrors and the chandeliers. The rustic fireplace just outside gave off so much warmth on the chilly night.
As for the food and waiting staff it was all amazing! I would 100% recommend this gorgeous venue to anyone looking for a wedding venue! I even asked my hubby if we could get re-married and have our wedding here!

Al Ru Farm is timeless. From blooming gardens to antique interiors, there’s inspiration in every corner. I’m always amazed at how different each wedding feels here—it’s so beautifully adaptable. A photographer’s dream.

Al Ru Farm – A Photographer’s Dream

Al Ru Farm in One Tree Hill, is a fantastic venue for wedding photography. It’s got everything – beautiful gardens, a rustic barn, a charming farmhouse, and stunning natural surroundings.

The incredibly well curated and maintained gardens offer up perfect spots for photos, no matter the time or season. Ruth and her team of gardeners are top notch. The sunlight here is magical, especially during the afternoon and at sunset, making for some truly memorable shots.

The staff are professional and helpful, which makes my job easier and more enjoyable. Al Ru Farm is a top-notch venue, and I always look forward to working here. Five stars from me!

Went to a wedding Friday afternoon,absolutely beautiful setting for a wedding.I stayed the night in one of the qaint cottages( garden pavillion) with my grandkids while the wedding couple enjoyed a kid free sleep in, the gardens were just stunning. The canape’s were delicious. The reception area in the barn with the mirrors looked magical. As for the fire pit was so warm and toasty Would 100% recommend

They have 3 rooms available to support up to 1000 people if you want to go big. The food is delicious and have their own catering service. The sound system is great, drink and alco available as well. The staff accommodate our query fast and they give great service. Would definitely book again for the next event. Thank you

Larry is amazing!
I was probably his most stressed out bride to deal with! He had so much patience for me. Very very accommodating. He would have bent over backwards if I had asked. I do not have one negative thing to say about my wedding ceremony and reception held at this venue. The package He gave us was absolutely amazing, included the DJ, smoke, indoor fireworks, meals, dance floor, table settings and decor etc. He did so much so that I could do less. I visited a few other venues before finding Larry and everywhere else wanted a huge amount of money just to be at the venue not including anything! If you want an amazing wedding or any function for that matter, please contact Larry! You will not be disappointed. I will recommend this venue to EVERYONE!
