Really loved my time so far at ES. Such a down to earth friendly atmosphere and really knowledgeable team. I feel like I have learned so much since I started and I am feeling much more confident. It’s a lovely supportive community and I have made some wonderful friends. Looking forward to learning more in my next classes. I highly recommend this place.

Janet’s Journey

Very professional, we booked a group session for a night of pottery and wine. It was so well run, for a first timer, our group thoroughly enjoyed the session. We were talked and shown through step by step of process and instructions were well communicated. Equipment and clay provided in price, just remember to bring an apron and/or a towel. Look forward to picking up the goods in a few weeks and having a few more pottery sessions.

I booked a session for my sister and I with Es Ceramics as an early Christmas present. Their talented instructors explained the basics and then demonstrated how to create something on the wheel, and assisted when needed. Their instructors were so great - pleasant, friendly, welcoming, kind, and informative. Most people seemed to get the hang of things pretty quickly but I, well I'm a bit of a straggler under normal circumstances, so predictably I managed to repeatedly chop my clay off the wheel accidentally and then one of them would patiently help me get back on track until my next whoops. They were so lovely. I specifically chose Es Ceramics because their class was 3 hours and the others I saw were shorter, and I was so grateful I did because it took away some of the pressure when I was struggling to learn some of the techniques and really made a difference. The atmosphere was great and the workspace is nice. There was a midmorning coffee break where they served us coffee in their gorgeous cups and then we went on to hand-building techniques and created our second piece, which required a little less of the finesse that I lack. All through they explained the process and techniques. I have just picked up our glazed pieces and I'm thrilled They turned out even cuter than I expected - full of character and very unique with a beautiful glaze. Highly recommend the class and think it makes an amazing gift. Would really like to do it again. Many thanks for the great experience.

Incredible and inclusive space to learn then attempt to master the art of pottery. The teachers are great, you end up with beautiful ceramics and the vibe is always just right. The fact that the teachers also produce commercial pottery means their tutelage is a step ahead of some of the other pottery studios in Adelaide

I loved their pottery courses so much I took them twice ! Sophie and Dani were my instructors and they did really well with teaching fundamentals when I first began, and being flexible when I wanted to explore more. Would highly recommend for any beginners or first time potters !

I did a course in wheel throwing and it was really fantastic. The teachers I worked with were lovely, very patient and knowledgeable. The whole vibe of the studio was fun, supportive and creative. The owner Shane was great to chat with when he was around, and also very welcoming and supportive. Will definitely be doing another class. I got some lovely pieces out of it and it was so nice to let my creativity flow, and also witness others doing the same. 10/10 would recommend!
