Such a warm, fuzzy, happy and fun place to board your fur baby. Our gorgeous greyhound "Honey" has just had her first 2 day stay at TTLCS and she had the best time. Came home tuckered out from all the adventuring and excitement of playing with other dogs. The vibe is so welcoming, friendly and homely. The grounds are spotless and well presented, the staff are passionate and bubbly, the entire process from booking to pick up was seamless and I really appreciated the email update and photos regarding Honey’s stay and assessment. Thanks so much Aimee and your team for taking such good care of Honey, we look forward to seeing you again soon

Our beautiful and energetic 5 year old Flat Coated Retriever spent 17 nights in Take The Leads luxury stay package, and she absolutely loved it! Our dog had never spent time away from home, let alone such a long period of time but we were overjoyed at the beautiful photos, updates and flexibility when we extended her stay a couple of times at short notice. The staff, facilities and care have been amazing and we will absolutely bring her back in future. Thank you all for taking great care of our girl, we really appreciate you !

My partner and I had to head off to Europe and were struggling to find the right place to board our dog. He used to be very reactive toward people and other dogs, with poor leash manners and several other behavioral concerns. Thankfully, Take the Lead was an option for us! We booked their three week board-and-train program, and I was really impressed with how professional and reassuring they were—even before we confirmed the booking. While we were abroad, we had peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. The level of love and care he received was amazing. The team not only kept us updated with details about his behavior and progress, but also respected and followed his specific feeding schedule due to his skin issues—which meant a lot to us. When we came back, it felt like bringing home a completely different dog—so well-behaved, with solid foundations for future success. Of course, continuing to work with him and reinforcing his training will always be important, but I truly cannot recommend Take the Lead and their entire team enough. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you team!!!!

Allie and Caramello had a behavioural assessment and spent a weekend at Take the Lead to prepare for a longer stay. They had an absolute blast and were exhausted for the next two days! Take the Lead has been fantastic at communicating both before and after their stay. Our dogs will definitely be staying there again! Allie (white dog)!has a lot of anxiety and as you can see in the photos she is having a great time!

I am so happy at the level of care for my dog Pinecone while she was staying at Take The Lead. The stay and play package was perfect for Pinecone to socialize with other dogs and run a muck. Everyday I received an update with cute photos. She was so tired when we picked her up and slept for a whole day! Thank you so much to the Take the Lead team for taking amazing care of her! Take the Lead Canine Services: A Lifesaver for Nugget and Me Take the Lead Canine Services has been incredibly supportive and helpful, not just in training my dog, but also in teaching me the skills and tools needed to live harmoniously with a dog that many would consider challenging. As a rescue, Nugget has some issues that make her a bit difficult to handle. I was beginning to worry that we had made a mistake in adopting her. However, after enrolling her in a two-week stay-and-learn package at Take the Lead, I saw a remarkable transformation. While Nugget wasn't fully trained, she had improved massively. They not only worked with Nugget but also taught me how to continue her training at home. They even explained that some of Nugget's issues stem from her having ADHD, something I didn't even know dogs could have. Over the past two years, Nugget has had multiple stays at Take the Lead, and with each visit, she comes home with new skills and noticeable improvements in her behavior. I also learn more about her each time. Without their help, Nugget would be living a lonely, boring life. Now, she has the skills to go on walks safely, and we are working towards helping her be around other people and dogs without being reactive, nervous, or overly excitable. We look forward to continuing this journey with Take the Lead.

Such a wonderful place! Having a RR is not easy in Adelaide, finding take the lead is amazing to let my dog socialise and stretch his legs on a big farm! Simba stayed multiple times and an over a 10 day board with no issues! Will be a returning customer for sure
