Customer Reviews
FertilitySA has a rating of 3.7 out of 5 based on over 20 reviews on Google
i initially went to another clinic after finding out i had no sperm. they gave us little or false information like (your genetically fine) without recieving all the test results, and then charging us for the call! was a disgrace. I later went to genea after the competitor told us I'd have to get surgery in melbourne that no one can do it in adelaide. I was diagnosed with azospermia and needed micro tesa surgery. I highly recommend genea fertility SA and Dr bruno radesic as they have been professional every step of the way through the process, surgery and post op phone calls.
Edit 13/3/25 Since I requested to have my oocytes (eggs) that were stored destroyed I have received communication from Fertility SA that they have had a data leak. All of my private information and all of their other patients' information including full names, dates of birth, address, phone numbers, forms of Id, private medical letters detailing sensitive medical data has been leaked to a 3rd party organisation and sold on. I am horrified. Their response to this is a simple email to notify us that it has happened. The performance of this organisation is so far below expectations it's appalling. I wish I could go back in time and never use their services, but it's too late. They sent a bully to my home to follow up on a bill (only 4 months over due) and then leaked my most personal data, which is presumably in all corners of the intent now. And they're are suppose to be a fertility company! Madness. They shouldnt be able to do business. Original review: I recently had a very negative experience with Fertility SA. A few years ago I had my eggs frozen and had been paying to have them stored with fertility SA. I've completed my family now (non-IVF) and I was deciding what to do with the eggs, to donate them to research, to another family, or to destroy them. On Saturday a man from a debt collecting agency called Prestige came to my home. He had been sent by Fertility SA to follow up a bill for the oocyte storage (dated only 4months prior). I hadn't had any phone calls or emails from fertility SA or Prestige prior to this. It felt like a serious over-step into my private life, attempting to intimidate me into paying the bill? Given the sensitive nature of the services Fertility SA provide, this approach to debt collection is inappropriate and felt very invasive. Fertility SA please do better by your clients.
My wife and I (both female) used Fertility SA to conceive a child together with IVF and we were successful on the first attempt. 4 weeks ago we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world. The whole process was naturally a lot to handle, but they were so accommodating and accepting the entire time. We both felt supported and heard. I am glad it is over, but I am also so happy we have our baby now and I couldn’t ask for a more supportive experience for such a major part of our lives. Thank you everyone at Fertility SA, especially Brooke Calo and Dr Kate ❤️
I would definitely recommend Fertility SA to anyone wanting fertility treatment. Fertility SA was the second place I had been too for fertility treatment and there were a lot of vast differences that I found between the two. The first being that when I was discussing treatment options with my specialist, there was ALWAYS other treatment options if previous treatment protocol didn't work whereas the previous well known clinic I went to prior, did the same protocol 3 times expecting a different result. It sadly resulted in 3 failed attempts and a lot of wasted time and money. The other difference I noticed was money. With the previous clinic, I heard from Accounts more than I heard from any one else. I was also pushed to purchase medication I didn't need after my first traumatising egg collection. It wasn't pleasant. Fertility SA was always very respectful and whenever I had concerns, they answered them promptly and without pressure. They wouldn't allow me to purchase medication until it was absolutely necessary. Sure not everything is on site like egg collection or transfer however they make it as easy as possible for you. It was honestly a very well organised process and I managed to flow through it easy enough. I highly recommend Dr Vicki Nisenblat, she was fabulous, very knowledgeable and very informative. The staff were also very lovely and easy to talk too. The location was easy as there is generally a lot of available parking on South Tce
My husband and I transferred to Fertility SA with Dr Victoria Nisenblat after years with no success at another clinic in Adelaide. We knew instantly that we were in the right place. Not only is Dr Nisenblat an incredible, thorough and caring doctor, all staff seem to follow suit. We did not come across one unsupportive team member. Instead we were nurtured and truly cared for. After years of multiple miscarriages and failed cycles, we are expecting twin boys after a successful transfer of a single embryo. I am sending all friends and loved ones who are seeking fertility support straight to Fertility SA and feel comfortable knowing they will receive the highest quality of care.
Wasted 5 years in this clinic, regretful experience, waste time and money. Egg collection was very painful each time even a couple of days after. Embryo transfer was painful each time made me thinking it should be normal felling . Then I realised it is not the case when I finally traveled to get interstate treatment after 5 years bad experience. As results , I have my daughter first go and my son two years later. The name of the female doctor is not the same one as in the previous post. I trusted her because she was very nice person. I guess acting Professor title only means academically not practically. The lab probably not good is another reason also. The most regretful thing to me is I did not give up this clinic early enough. 5 years never get back again.
My experience with FSA has been excellent. I was constantly told my case was difficult, and that it was going to be very hard to conceive. So I tried 3 different IVF clinics over 4 years, and I even went to the self proclaimed ‘baby whisperer’ in Melbourne Lynne burmeister out of desperation - with no success. I eventually saw Dr sally Reid at fertility SA and I can’t speak highly enough about her. Before seeing dr Reid I had no hope left and was told I needed to find an egg donor. All the doctors and clinics before dr Reid tried to do simple things like adjust the medication, or change my diet or make me take more natural pills and nothing worked. Thankfully, dr Reid had the capacity to analyze my entire situation and find an answer. On my first attempt with her, which was also going to be my last Ever IVF, and after withdrawing my super money and having been given absolutely no hope to get pregnant, dr Reid created a miracle and now I have my beautiful little boy. I found all the staff at fertility SA to be supportive, considerate, thorough, and always showing empathy. I found their labs, processes and technology to be excellent. I would just like to advise people who may be in a difficult situation conceiving to try dr Reid. I have blind faith in her now and would not hesitate to recommend her. Thank you Dr Reid and to all the team and Fertility SA.
