Even though I could stayed for a short while, I have enjoyed so much tasting variety of Australian wines from all regions. I got two wines and both taste great. Also, I like the tasting system you’ll get a tasting card in exchange for your payment card(credit card). Insert the tasting card to the machine and select the amount that you would like to drink. After finished tasting you will pay all amount that you have tried. The staff were really gentle and kind as they have wraped my wine bottles to do not touch two bottles each other. I would like to visit again with my friends. Thank you for your great service

It’s an astonishing exhibition of wine bottles. To be specific, there are 120 wines stored. Plus a relaxing atmosphere that people can really enjoy themselves. On the second floor, people can learn about the history and background of wine making as well as smell their unique fragrances.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Exceptional Experience, Thanks to Clara!

I recently visited the National Wine Centre, and the highlight of my experience was the exceptional service I received from Clara at the reception. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with the warmest smile and an incredibly professional demeanor. Clara’s attention to detail and genuine care for ensuring that every guest felt welcome was remarkable.

Not only was she knowledgeable about the venue and its offerings, but her friendly and approachable nature made the entire experience that much more enjoyable. Clara went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident, and it’s rare to encounter someone who truly loves what they do as much as she does.

The National Wine Centre is a stunning venue, but it’s the outstanding staff like Clara that make it a truly memorable experience. She absolutely deserves recognition for her hard work, and I believe she is more than deserving of a raise for the way she enhances the guest experience.

Thank you, Clara, for making our visit so special!

You can come here from inside Botanic garden.
They have a lot of wines to test with very modern system. They give you a card, insert the card to the machine, choose the wine and the amount you want to test, press the button and the wine comes out.
The prices are from 3.7 dollars to 8 dollars for 25 ml of wine.
I like the experience.

I had a fantastic tour of the centre with Maria Rubiano. I was lucky enough to come when it was quiet and had a 1:1 tour. Maria was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Maria also listened to my preferences and tailored my tasting (as much as she could). Would definitely recommend this tour for those wanting to learn more about Australian wines.

An interesting place. More style over substance but worth a visit. You will pay a high price for everything and be upsold if you want better wines or to visit the Dali exhibit which is really a store. The decor was good, views are good, service is good. Its the type of place that the bus full of tourists stop off at. Plenty of parking.

The d’Arenberg Cube is a fascinating structure to visit. We were given a voucher for a meal as a gift. So we visited this intriguing structure in the southern wine region of Mc Claren Vale earlier this year.

Take time to wander through each accessible level of the building. Going up the stairs is in itself an experience. There is an interactive display and many thematic works of art. Some conventional, others a little more quirky. The toilets are amazing.

The dining area has wonderful 360 degree views of the picturesque surrounding countryside. The menu was diverse and therefore had a range of delicious food on offer. Drinks included a range of local craft beers, soft drinks and, of course, regional wines. Service was great. The staff were friendly and food was delivered to the table promptly after ordering.

Check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Nice wine tastings on the top level of this very cool building. The tiny balconies overlook vineyards, and each level is filled up with quirky art. It’s $20 entry which includes a wine tasting, and more $ if you want to go to their gallery level. The gardens at the front of the cube have some quirky statues to check out too. Definitely worth visiting when you’re in the area.

We spent a great time at D’Arenberg cube. The food at the Singapore Circus was really good and we also loved the wine tasting session. We did end up buying the Dead Arm as it was the best Shiraz we’ve had in years. The entrance to the cube was interesting with quirky things to look at. The views around are pristine. There is an entry cost of $20 per person which is nominal as the cube offers great embellishments to look at. I am rating it 4/5 because the host at the entrance did not speak to us in a pleasant manner. She did not greet us or guide us at all. Being the first face of the place, you out to be pleasant, professional and a pleasing host.

Innovative winery with strange quirks and interesting art and design. Lovely staff. Stephanie from California is knowledgable and was a great host for the tasting. The bathrooms are really funny and are not to be missed! $20.00 covered your entry into the cube, a wine tasting and views from the top!

It was the only winery we could go to our visit to Adelaide. The cube was an amazing museum and art gallery. When we booked the restaurant for lunch, we got an invite for free wine tasting and entry to the gallery. We were told to come 1.5 hours before lunch. I’m so glad we did because we needed that time to spend in the cube! Wine tasting on the top floor with the view was so good. Highly recommend it.

Definitely worth a visit, even if it’s just for photographs. The architecture is magnificent. There is an entrance fee to visit, which comes with complimentary wine tasting.

My wife & I enjoyed the tasting experience, we could to sample a variety of D’Arenberg wines. As with most wineries in McLaren vale, they have a huge variety of wine from rose, Pinot noirs, Grenache, Shiraz etc.

Amazing food with wonderful services. Really supersized of the food in a winery can be this high level. Everything we have ordered is so delicious I can’t say which one is the best. We had the tasting menu for lunch. Just the right size/amount and very, very tasty. Each course was explained and the service was great. We shared a bottle of the pinot sparkling. Delightful. Jamie, Bianca and Leanne were great. Had a few laughs with Jamie (chef) and all in all, a delightful long lunch.

Beautiful food, lovely wines (pricey though!), we had booked to sit on “the deck” but instead were told we have been seated inside instead (even though there were plenty of free tables outside on the deck and the weather was fine) so that was disappointing as inside was very loud and very warm, service was excellent, although we were charged $9 for “still water” which we were not told costed money when it was offered to us (& is Tap water in a bottle). Had we known, we would have said “tap water”, not “still water”. This was taken off our tab once we brought it up with the staff though to their credit. Lovely lunch. The wine flights and cider flights were good to try different wines.

Beautiful winery/restaurant located at Hahndorf. Their wine tastes absolutely amazing and they would have something for anyone here. The food on the menu is incredible and is cooked to perfection.

They also do wood oven pizzas which taste delicious. Beautiful indoor seating area and outside areas with plenty of entertainment for the whole family.

We recently enjoyed lunch at the restaurant, set in the stunning Coriole Winery.

The cozy fireplace is perfect for cooler days, adding to the inviting atmosphere.

We went with the ‘feed me’ menu and paired it with their suggested wines, which complemented the dishes perfectly. The food was excellent, and the wines enhanced every bite. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

With the cellar door located right next to the restaurant, you can easily pick up your favorite wines to take home.

A must-visit for wine and food lovers!

A sublimely beautiful setting with excellent variety of quality wines to suit any pallet. Had such a great wine tasting experience; Brett was very knowledgeable and talked through each wine with great humour and grace. He’s the kind of guy you easily could have a yarn with for hours over a glass or three of Cab Shiraz
Easily my FAVORITE SA wine tasting experience so far! Highly recommended!

It is a very lovely experience, both at the Cellar Door as well as the restaurant.. the place filled with floral and flowers was a sight to behold.

Bun was so lovely in entertaining and giving us the history as well as background of each wines to me and wife. We found the white Fiano amazing and Shiraz The Soloist very engaging..

The Cellar house is a very cosy spot for both standing or a table for tasting. The outside tables, especially the ones facing the vineyards, are lovely places for drinks, especially when the sun was out today. Will recommend others to visit…

Then we when over to the restaurant. Advance booking is recommended. Food, ambience and service was tip top!! Wonderful experience here too! Enjoyed the variety of selection and great to end off with a dessert and a flat white!! Yummy!

Will come back again.. 🙂

Would rate less if I could. The wine tastings felt more like “give us your money and we will pretend like we know what we’re saying”.

There was an obvious difference in service. The young girl was enthusiastic and loved to interact with everyone. However the Middle Aged lady with blonde hair behind the counter was rude and borderline racist. Lets just say she was relieved to see non Australians walk out the door. In fact, we observed her throughout our time there when she was continuously eye balling us and this other group of Chinese tourists with this “you don’t belong here” look, ignoring to serve and trying to get us to leave. In the end, the Chinese patrons were leaving the cellar and we heard the lady say “that’ll be the last of the Chinese”. We immediately walked out since the overall experience was just a struggle with little to nothing on offer. It is shocking to see such people in this day and age and a place with such reputation employing such staff.

On a positive note, the location has some really good views and the ambiance is welcoming. Shame that they have such staff to ruin the place for visitors.

Dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon to sample some of the wines at Samuel’s Gorge. The area is nestled in amongst rolling hills on one side and to the other a view to the sea, a simply beautiful setting. We were not disappointed with the selection on offer and our host Nina was excellent. The highlight of our visit, beside the wine, was seeing Nina sashaying to us to bring our next wine to taste, truly magnificent.

One of my top 5 cellar door experiences over 3 full days in Mclaren Vale ! They were our first visited after 4 days in Barossa!found out about them from YouTube.

Enjoyed the cosy, charming, and attentive, friendly service. Add the lovely wines from whites to reds, overlooking the lovely views ahead;you can understand why it’s within the top.. And the best .. no wine charges.. very generous of them.

Not your ordinary or usual wines, too. The founder, Justin, and his team whips up different wines with single varieties, bringing out the best of each across the various grounds from Adeliade Hills to Mclaren Vale..

And we couldn’t help but also get ourselves acquainted with the vineyard guard dog.. bull dog Toast.. she was a gem! Lovely and friendly gal!!

Will come again and recommend others to visit..

It is hard to put into words just how perfect our experience was at this beautiful winery. From the moment we arrived, we were blownd away by the kindness of the people working there and the beauty of the place. We have been to many wineries around the world, and this is by far the best experience that we have. The wine was excellent and each one was better than the last. The views were extraordinary, and we couldn’t believe we were right there. We can’t wait to tell our family and friends about this place and to return again someday. Everyone should come and experience this place for themselves.

Came here 8 years ago and enjoyed it very much, both the cellar and restaurant experience! And what made its special was the bubbly which had these continuous bubbles raisinh up from the centre of the special wine glass! And now, I visited to re experience those moments again!

Maybe it was because of the weather, which was rather gloomy, but a little less bubbly, but enjoyed the wine and food experience! And i didn’t book in advance, but thankfully, someone cancelled last minute, and me plus wife had the opportunity to sit down for a full lunch.

We liked the special lamb dish. The mains we ordered the beef to share. Was OK. Decent.

Overall, it’s pretty good alto, I think the restaurant standard has dropped a bit.. but the bubbly experience is still good!!

Will recommend others to visit..

We stopped into the restaurant for lunch and ordered the chef’s harvest menu.

The first course, pastrami and duck pate were great. Tender, savory and creamy dishes were a nice match and delicious! If that’s all we ordered this would have been a 5 star review.

Unfortunately the rest of the meal was just average. The pork dish was good but the fish course didn’t match the flavors of the other courses.

Overall it was nice but nothing memorable except the pastrami.
