My wife recently visited this store, and had an exceptional experience. The staff was very helpful, professional and kind. The clothing options were beautiful and we can’t recommend this boutique more highly. Great old fashioned service and attentiveness.

Great value. Relaxed. Enter off Melbourne Street via a narrow redbrick alley that opens up into their covered outside dining area. There’s plenty of seating inside too. The staff are super friendly and the coffee superb. The menu is limited but absolutely spot on. Try the toasted chicken sandwich! Yum!

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and I’m so glad that we did! Coffee was amazing and food portions were incredibly generous. My nephews was running all over the place but the staff were still super friendly and made sure he was looked after

Absolutely loved my experience at Saintgarde! The cafe may be hidden on a side street, but it’s definitely worth the search. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. But what really stands out is the amazing coffee – hands down the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Highly recommend checking this place out!

A year on, I still frequent Saintgarde daily, when in Adelaide. It never disappoints.
I was surprised to see such a negative review over the cost of a large coffee, not only is it not true but, frankly, petty.

Nice environment, great coffee, vegan avo on toast perfectly mashed, lovely staff. We sometimes bring our laptops in and work for a little while to refresh our working day.

The staff at Azalis Boutique were absolutely fantastic. Despite being quite busy, they treated me like royalty from the moment I walked in. It was my first time visiting, and they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was offered plenty of options to choose from, and when I mentioned I was feeling hot, they kindly turned on the air-conditioning for me. They even took the time to steam my purchases so they were ready to wear and let me take the hangers to keep everything wrinkle-free. Exceptional service! I’ll definitely be back!

Every time I go to Azalia I always seem to find something. They have a great selection of clothes at a very reasonable price point. The girls are always so lovely and never pressure you to buy anything and give their honest opinion. 10/10 from me 🙂

As usual I left looking for an outfit to the last minute. I was not hopeful at all but thought I would just pop in. The lady asked if I needed help. My response was I need all the help I can get but warned her how fussy I am. She showed me around and picked 2 dresses. Purchased the first one. She listened to what I needed to make me feel comfortable. Will definitely be back

Extremely disappointing experience. Not a single staff member acknowledged me when I was there, yet they were overly attentive and friendly to people they clearly considered “regulars” or those dressed in designer labels. It feels like they judge who is worth their time based on appearance, which is both unprofessional and off-putting. Customer service should be consistent for everyone. Instead it was dismissive and unwelcoming – one of the worst I have encountered in retail.

Been shopping here for years! The staff here are always so inviting and helpful. I have no idea how to style myself and Nicki in particular always gives me so many options and shows me how to work new styles. I love shopping here as they have such a range of the latest styles. Some items are on the affordable end some brands in the higher end and that’s what I love, when I want to spoil myself I can or when I don’t have as much money to drop I can!! Budget for everyone. The staff are ALWAYS under the pump busy and still manage to smile in times on manic busy moments, I’ve been shopping here for that long I walk in and the girls know exactly what to show me. 10/10 service! Love this place!

The lovely Nikki let me bring my dress in to be steamed. I tried to get in other places but it was too busy and they couldn’t get it done in time. They were kind enough to do it for me even though the dress was not purchased from the store. I am so grateful they helped me out and I would recommend this place to anyone ❤️

The most judgemental, uninviting, rude customer service I have seen in adelaide.
Because I came from work (I’m a physio) I was looked at like I didn’t belong by the blonde female sales girl on Thursday evening 9th May. I guarantee I make more money than the sales girl working at this shop. I was offered to try on 2 dresses and then she told me that’s all she could offer and thanks for coming in… I didn’t even look at the other half of the store. I said to her “wow this is incredibly disappointing.” Her response…. “With cold weather, it’s a bit slow.” Meanwhile, there were 2 women who walked in after me perusing the dresses with champagne. I am a very well educated, well spoken American who can more than afford to shop here. I will never come back, and I’ll make sure to tell all my friends my experience and to support other businesses with good people. Get over yourselves I’ll be doing all my shopping across the street from now on.

My go to place when I need something for an event, capsule wardrobe or anything in between!! Nicki and the girls provide such great service and work with you to find suitable pieces and provide great styling advice! Their clothes are on trend, whether it be seasonal pieces or for that special event. Hardly ever walk out empty handed. Definitely recommend!

Just received the bundle top. Disappointed. Allowing for individual computer screen settings, there is a vast discrepancy between the colour on the website and the top received. On the website it’s bluish-grey. In reality it’s steel-grey. Despite, using the size guide correctly and going one size up, my bra straps show and my very small but healthy “love handles,” for a slight built woman show. The product description says, model wear “size 10 for drape effect, true to size will be more fitted.” If fitted, and given the fabric weight, this top will show every bump and dimple on the back. Perhaps on the website a rear view of the top could assist with the customer making an informed choice.

I have been shopping at the Adelaide store for a while now, and I just have to say that each time I go in, I receive the most amazing service. I also have to commend whoever the maker is. I have curves, and the pieces always compliment my figure. Items that I think would never suit me, do, which is amazing and a massive confidence booster! Thank you Leonard St.

Super lovely, helpful staff who put in the extra mile: I had to find an outfit for my birthday party in a really quick time and the two Briannas just made it so easy and fun. Everyone complimented me on my great outfit and it meant a lot to me that it was made ethically. The staff are always happy to steam iron any item not on the racks. Their opinions on fit and suitability of garments are honest and appreciated. I have bought 3 tops, the most funky being the octopus/starfish design and the kaleidoscope top. The navy paisley dress is my latest purchase. I love browsing at Leonard Street – and supporting a label that is Australian designed and made.

Just now I was walking past and saw the most gorgeous, delightful red head by the counter. Her enchanting charm drawing me instantly to the door with an overwhelming desire to purchase everything. ..

Terrible customer service and unfair return policy! I made a purchase online, only to find out that I couldn”t return it in-store. Instead of a refund, they only offer a credit note forcing me to spend more money with them. To make matters worse, I had to pay an extra $20 for delivery! I explained that this purchase was part of my budget for a special event and requested a refund, but they flatly refused. This is a complete lack of respect for customers. I won’t be shopping here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values good service and fair policies

The staff are amazing. There are not many shops left where you receive the best customer service. Friendly. Welcoming. Warning. The selection of clothing is so versatile.
I never leave the store without an item. I cannot recommend this store enough and hope one day they open a store out west.

So glad I’m not the only one who thinks the customer service sucks here!! I’ve spent sooo much money here over the last decade and the owner Renee never remembers me, is rude. The other owner Emily is nice but is never there anymore. The new blonde girl that works there.. zero personality, SO rude. I went in there and spent a lot of money and was asking for help and she was like “oh I don’t know, like we have skirts everywhere.. you can see them” while she was behind the desk on her phone. Will never buy here again. They obviously make so much on sales that they don’t care about any service level whatsoever! Oh and the necklace I bought was broken when I opened the wrapper containg it! I called and they won’t even swap it for me! So glad I spent $70 on something so cheap it’s broken in the packaging. Beware.

Good range of clothes but No customer service whats so ever ! The 2 employees persisted to converse with each other whilst I went around shop looking for alternative bottoms etc… no help, not friendly, stuck up very disappointing considering the amount I spent on one top. Won’t go back again.

Amazing range of gorgeous styles and beautiful staff. Came in with an idea and the wonderful owner hand picked a wide range that she thought would work for me…she definitely knows how to pick for body shape and style. Walked out with a few bags of divine new pieces. What I loved was that other people in the store were all included and we were all asking for opinions as well. Will definitely be back LAB!

Unfortunately I have to agree with many of the other genuine reviews here. The range is gorgeous but customer service is consistently quite poor. Staff are unfriendly and don’t seem to want to help customers.

Instead of the business owner creating accounts to boost the star rating, perhaps spend time coaching your team on how to provide better customer service? I can count 7 other 5-star reviews made by google accounts with 1 review only.

Though I love some of their clothes, I find them well over priced. I think you may as well buy straight from the brand or elsewhere. For the price you pay, you’d expect staff to be waiting on you hand and foot with help but they seem to hang near the register and rather than having interpersonal skills, they appear to be looking more for the sale and getting you to buy up. Be careful what you buy because there is a no return policy!!!

I’ve been going to Love Affair for years. It has the best range of styles and prices of any small boutique in Adelaide. Renae and her staff are absolutely fabulous and always happy to help. Will forever be my go-to ❤️
