I lost a necklace that was gifted to me 50 years ago by my beautiful godparents. It was more than a piece of jewellery, it was memories and a source of comfort. When pondering life or feeling emotional I would touch the cross and feel relief. When I lost it, I still functioned fine but every so often I felt a sad discomfort.
My search for a replacement came up with nothing, no off the shelf replacement was right, there was always something wrong. Either the sides of the cross wasn’t the right shape, or something was missing, most looked like poor quality examples.
EverettBrookes discussed the design with me and drew up an example for me to look at, it wasn’t quite right but we fine-tuned the design and once I was happy, they started the process of making a new one.
When I first saw the finished product, I was flabbergasted, it was like looking at the original. It hasn’t come off since I picked it up a few months ago.
I didn’t realise how much I was missing it and now that I’m wearing it again, I feel like all my long-gone relatives are with me.

Top Tier Jeweller, highly recommended by other jewellers and for good reason. My wife’s lovely engagement ring was truly an exceptional find at a great price and quality, however it was far too large. After the significant issues trying to find a jeweller willing to work on it, we found these incredible jewellers of whom were able to not only take the ring down an exceptional 4 sizes, but were able to maintain a perfect shape in the process. After explaining the extreme complexities with resizing such a fragile ring, the jeweller took it upon himself as a personal challenge, of which he rose to the occasion and performed a miracle. I rarely buy jewellery, but I when I do I will be coming back to this store. The customer service was incredible and their attention to detail shows how much they care for every customers needs. We even bought our wedding rings through these guys whom measured the width of the engagement ring so that my wife’s wedding ring will match perfectly by colour and size. It has been 6 months since our last encounter and the workmanship has held up beautifully surviving even the harshest of elements the Scottish Highlands have to offer, we are eternally grateful for the service you have provided and wish you and your team all the best for the future.

From the very beginning the team made the whole process so easy and enjoyable and listened to what we wanted and worked closely to bring our ideas to life. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted and the quality is absolutely incredible!!

I received a new product last week and it was already broken when I opened it. I told the staff right away, but they couldn’t exchange it for a new one. They told me I needed to report it to the manufacturer and wait for a response before I could proceed. Isn’t that ridiculous? I received the product and opened it for inspection and they told me there was a problem with it, but they couldn’t exchange it for a new one right away. The store evades responsibility regulations and shifts the responsibility to the manufacturer. It is a very unprofessional store.

I absolutely love my Maland Olive Leather Kitchen Stools. I bought 4. They are so unique from anything else i could find in the market. (I don’t want others to buy!!).
I had a nightmare with the 3rd party delivery company but Tanya was quick to respond and extremely proficient to help sort the problem and kept in touch by email until the delivery was completed.
A side note for people who prefer to speak to a human; everything is done via email.

I purchased four Maland solid leather counter stools. They are of excellent quality, and I love the-tone wood. I could not be happier with them. I ordered online as I live in Darwin, where the choices are limited. The staff went above and beyond to assist me. made an error on the number of stools, and the staff was accommodating and fixed it quickly. The postage price to Darwin was also reasonable. You will not be disappointed with them.

The communication was excellent, and I really liked the products I ordered. I also appreciated that they included a sample, which they offered to be on the safe side with the colours; hat was a nice touch. However, I did encounter one (for a customer) important issue. When I visited their website, I saw a 15% discount offered for first-time buyers. But when I placed my order and asked over the phone/email and asked for this discount, I was denied. Later, I realized the discount was still valid, and the representative who assisted me seemed indifferent to the situation. As a result, I ended up paying 15% more even though I was entitled to the discount according to the offer on their website.

I have purchased Japanese ceramic plates and love them. Living by Design offer a bundle set which made it a lot more affordable. They offer the best price online. Delivery was quick and items were well wrapped.

I highly recommend Living by Design stunning furniture and homewares. I purchased these 2 Flo lamps for my monochrome bedroom.They were delivered speedily , well packaged I was kept informed very impressed with their service and Australia post delivery service. On one lamp the shade had a flaw and I emailed with photos and asked if they could replace the shade only and the same day my email was actioned , they said they would replace the whole lamp and if I could return the faulty lamp to their warehouse. They included the consignment to attach to the return packaging. The replacement lamp was sent immediately. So impressed , I love these lamps, very professional and seamless service.

Wonderful service from Gyan. Had repaired my Google Pixel 8 Pro camera lense as I’d smashed it, within 4 hrs. Also got a new case which comes out further to add additional protection to prevent this happening again. He was easy to deal with and understood exactly what I needed when I phoned up last week.

I had a fabulous experience with GR Phones. My phone had stopped charging and was flat as a tack – I honestly thought I’d never get it going again and lose everything on it. The lovely lady at GR Phones had a quick look and said the charging port needed to be replaced and that she could fix it THAT DAY! Within a few hours I had a phone that was PERFECT from a charging perspective! It was $69 – a small price to pay for such a great result. She was extremely helpful, polite and professional – I note the Google Reviews show 4.9 out of 5 – I can totally see why.

What a helpful man I dealt with. My initial screen replacement wasn’t ideal, I chose the cheaper option but figured it should be ok. It ended up not performing to my expectations so it was replaced and still wasn’t happy. They were so helpful in trying to find a solution and I ended up getting the top of the range screen swapped and just paid the difference but it was so easy to deal with them and they were just super helpful. My new screen is as good as new!

I was traveling in Australia in 2024, Adelaide was one of our first stops. I was very interested in opals since they are particularly Australian. Adrian at Unique Opal Mine was such a great teacher, and considerate helper in my mission to find a unique opal. He showed me how opals were cut and polished in their little museum, sent me to see one of the world‘s greatest opals at the Adelaide museum, and helped me make a choice about what I would take home. I bought two loose stones and had them set by a jeweler here at home. They are both unique pieces and get lots of compliments. If you’re looking for an unusual opal you can’t go wrong with unique Opal mine.

Fabulous handmade opals of the highest quality! My husband has 250+ cufflinks and these are definitely in his top 3 now (that is high praise as I’ve had several made for him bespoke). Also a beautiful, delicate silver bracelet for our daughter with small flowers and beautiful stones. The owner/artisan maker is a lovely guy who made us welcome and no pressure purchasing etc. underground mock up of an opal mine under the shop which is where he makes all the products.

I have been buying wooden toys for my kids for 8 years now. I just love what Oskar’s wooden ark bought to the wooden toy community in Australia. The customer service and community feel was really lacking at other wooden toy stores before Oskar’s arrived.

Have been SO pleased with every order I have made over the years. We have such a lovely collection now that my 4 children play with every day.

What an incredible business, we’re so lucky to have this in SA! The most beautiful children’s toys, we have already started quite the collection and it continues to grow. Thuy, Simon and the OWA team are so knowledgeable and passionate about their products, they have taught me so much about what would be the best age appropriate gifts fr my child and they are always happy to have a chat over the phone, web, or in person. Local pick up is such a plus, my items are usually ready within an hour or two to collect. Easy parking out the front!

Coming back home from Chicago to visit family and prepare for the Sydney marathon and needed to replace my race shoes. This store is fantastic, and reminds me of the running stores in Chicago, with latest race shoes with excellent staff. I got what I needed so fast. Given the severe lack of professional running stores, and only the big box stores in the outer suburbs, I was so thankful to find them even if had to drive from northern suburbs. Great store and staff with best running shoes you can find in Adelaide.

Perhaps I was unlucky, as for the 20 minutes I was waiting all the staff was very busy with other customers, but it’s really not my problem, is it?
Seems like a basic running shoe store with good choice is variety of running shoes and some limited selection of cloths and even less accessories- bare minimum nothing more.

The running company was very welcoming from the get go, I came to them with knee pain from running and they sorted me out straight away. I ran on the treadmill and he spotted my foot caving inwards and found three different shoes to try, all were great! I would highly recommend the Running company to anyone.

The team at The running company were very helpful, studied my walking style, my feet, my needs ( I needed shoes to walk 900km). They made 2 very good suggestions. I ended up only wearing one pair of New Balance for the 900km. They were very comfortable and light and I had no blisters or feet problems. I would highly recommend them. ( the photo was from the last day of the walk).

I was looking to add an electric guitar to my collection and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I was assisted by Jackson who helped me select the appropriate guitar and accessories He was very knowledgeable and friendly and took his time explaining and demonstrating each one I was interested in. As a bonus the store is bright, modern and spacious and there is parking available out the front and in nearby side streets.

Purchased a Gibson Les Paul standard from Billy Hyde and to say I’m impressed with their service is an understatement. James, the salesman was able to do me a great deal on the guitar and an even further drop in price due to a visual defect which is hardly noticeable. 10/10 will spend my money there again over other music shops in Adelaide.

Just bought a Roland Aira J6 during the recent sale and heaps and not too long ago I purchase an SP404MK2 in the adelaide shop people are helpful and knowledgeable plus they have plentry of synth and drums plug in that your welcome to play around lots of fun and also temptation haha, satisfied with my purchase once the Roland S1 is available i will be back for more!

Can’t recommend these guys enough! Came in at 4pm on a Saturday with a bass electronics emergency (flew in from interstate for a gig and found bass not making any sound). Jackson managed to diagnose and fix the problem armed only with a pair of scissors and a soldering iron. Just awesome. Very grateful!

I spent hours deciding playing around with different keyboards and he was super patient and non-pushy every time he came back to check on me. Hands down the most friendly and knowledgable people I’ve ever met in a music store. Guys were more than happy to show me their stock and just chat about instruments and players in general.

Fantastic selection of stuff. Also a cheeky pick, but they’ve got a Spector Euro 5 and a Hartke LH1000. Also in the store was a Billy Sheehan Yamaha, as well as some masterbuilt Warwicks.

Will definitely be coming back for another visit next time I’m around town!

I initially bought a DJI mic mini from a camera store in the city, they had no idea what they were selling, and didn’t even tell me I needed to purchase a lightning adapter to use on my iPhone 13 Pro. Three days go by of trying to find this specific part which is sold out world wide, I end up calling Derringers phone number. The guy on the phone told me they didn’t have it in stock, but ran me through heaps of other good options, and gave me the most helpful information out of anyone over the last few days. I ended up heading into the Forestville store and Tim helped me buy the rode microphone which is specifically what I needed in the first place. Shout out to this company, that is great service

I had a lovely experience shopping here over the weekend! It was quite busy for a Sunday but I was greeted instantly as I walked in the door and asked if I needed any assistance, after browsing without any pressure for while I asked for some help. The person who service me had a great broad knowledge on PA systems and microphones. They were able to answer all my questions and was happy to reiterate anything I hadn’t quite understood.
