We found Ken Hall through Google searches for a small job, same day service with an experienced tradesman, who did a thorough and efficient job, after arriving on time. He noticed and discussed with us a completely unconnected issue, that we were unaware of. We then got that issue dealt with the following day, again, professionally, on time, with a clear and very acceptable quote. Would highly recommend and we will certainly use again.

My Mum phoned up on the 11 September and they came the following day. Great start couldn’t believe it. We had Jason, my Mum and Dad were very pleased with his service very polite we will recommend the company to anyone. Thank you for being nice to my folks

I recently had to call on Precise Plumbing and Electrical to resolve a plumbing issue – this time a blocked and misaligned sewer drain, and couldn’t be happier with the service received. The team was professional, prompt, and incredibly efficient. Special thanks to Justin, Alex, Mitch, and Cameron, who were all knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to get the job done properly. They not only diagnosed and resolved the issue quickly but also coordinated directly with SA Water, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Alex did an excellent job inspecting the drainage pipes in my house and offered the right solution for my situation. He thoroughly cleaned the pipes, provided a clear video record, and even used treatment to kill the tree roots inside. Very professional and reliable service!

The team at Precise Electrical did a great job from start to finish with an emergency electrical repair. We had no power due to a fault with the consumer mains at our house. Precise were immediately on site to quote the job. The repair was completed on time without any complications and they also assisted us with our insurance claim.

Quick service and reasonable pricing. Our water heater stopped working over night. Pilot light/thermo couple issue. Matt from precise was great. I initially needed someone to come out and quote for a job that had the capacity to be a small or a big job. I met with Shaun and Adam. And the job became bigger due to the work required – the work was explained, walked through and no problem was too much. Over the week Adam, and Trent were at all times professional, hard working and honest about work required and time and importantly what was not required. The job was well documented which I required and thorough. I have no hesitation in giving this company and these tradies 10/10! Honestly best service I’ve had in a long time! One phone call and I had a Tradie at my door within the hour. Robbie assessed our issues and set the wheels in motion to commence the repairs. The tradies all arrived on time as organised. Robbie also organised SA Gas to come to site as they needed to isolate on the valve on the other side supplying my home. Exceptional Service from the first phone call and excellent job done by the trades.

We needed a new hot water system and were able to send photos and explain what sort of system we wanted and they delivered. The trades were punctual, friendly and polite and cleaned up after they had finished. They also arranged for an electrician to come round and move a powerpoint and install the hot water controllers, who also was polite, friendly on time and took care in doing the job.

Avoid This Company – Overpriced and Unethical

I deeply regret hiring this plumbing company. They took advantage of my wife’s lack of technical knowledge and overcharged us 10 times what the job should have cost. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into an outrageous bill with inflated charges for labor and materials.

They convinced my wife that we needed new taps for the shower and even offered a so-called “discount.” The total price for the taps? $890!

Despite us already knowing where the leak was, they insisted on conducting an unnecessary investigation that cost $890 for less than an hour of work.

The real job they had to do was changing the breecher, which ended up costing us almost $2,000. Absolutely unbelievable!

It’s clear they prioritise making a quick buck over honest service. I would strongly advise anyone to get multiple quotes before even considering them. Dishonest, overpriced, and unethical. I wouldn’t trust them again for anything.

Never use this company!! Unless you want to be ripped off and taken advantage of.
They charged my wife $900 to change a light fitting which took 45 mins to complete, and we supplied the light fitting.

Very bad customer service. I had an emergency and booked the service and they ensured technician will be at my place between 11-2pm after waiting for 3 more hours I called multiple times and they were even not sure where is their technician

Metropolitan quoted 17k to replace the sewerage line running about 10m when their drain auger would not go any further. In obtaining a second quote the plumber realised the line had a pit involving a 90 degree turn, there was no blockage at all. Avoid these guys

Do not use this company, there’s no work ethic and is overly priced. I hired them last year, to check my aircon for little airflow, they recommended jet clean for $2200, or unit change for over $33k.

And this week, I hired Air Conditioning Doctor, they told me that there’s factory setting for airflow and adjusted to max setting and flipped the vent grills for me. Problem gone for $240.

Absolute criminals. Took advantage of my wife and coerced her to sign a ridiculous contract. Charged $7,500 to put in a gas hot water system. This was 6 times the retail price. Demanded payment before the job was complete. Please avoid. I am following up with business and consumer affairs

they charge $140 to walk in the door, literally not do or touch anything. just look at the unit.
told me i had to have it serviced (rejuvenated) before they could determine what was wrong and that would cost me $4,000.
I called someone else, they came out, actually tested the unit, told me it’s under warranty. came back in a week and fixed it. i paid $0!!!
if there was a SCAM rating i would’ve chosen that, 1 star is too much. if you search the ABN that’s listed on their invoice, 89 152 593 630, it has over 30 names attached to it.

AVOID this SCAMMER company by any means! Don’t believe the fake google reviews! Please search for “Metropolitan Plumbing Scam” on google, it is a well known predatory company chain that operates under many names, After Hours Plumbing is one of them. The technician who came to our house even wore a shirt saying Metropolitan Plumbing. It is a classic OVERPAYMENT scam. Just the call-out-fee was $141. Then they charged us $1,049 for simply connecting out plummed fridge to the tap. It was a very simple, 15 minute job, usually costing around $150-300. Unfortunately, we were new to the country and naive so we didn’t realize in time that it was a scam… PLEASE AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!

BEWARE! I can’t speak of their plumbing work however if their plumbing work is like their driving skills and driving behavior, based on my observation and in my opinion I would recommend to steer clear.

We were driving in the right lane on Anzac Highway when an Adam plumbing and gas van came past us in the left-hand lane and suddenly merged in front of us to get into the right-hand turn lane to go down Goodwood Road. This caused us to apply our brakes sharply to avoid a collision. There appeared to be plenty of room for the driver to pull in behind us, but instead, they insisted on merging in front of us, only to appear to give us the finger when we beeped them. This was very unprofessional and not a good look for your company.

I utilised Adam plumbing and gas towards the end of 2024 when my tenant informed me that my hot water system needed replacing. Adam was prompt, efficient and professional with replying to my enquiry, as was the plumber he sent and affordable.
Considering I manage my property from interstate, I am incredibly grateful for Adam Plumbing for their quality plumbing services and also for assisting with connections to other services for my property.

Adam was really responsive and knowledgeable and fixed the initial problem really quickly. However, the invoice was not separated out correctly for the insurance claim and I’m now unable to receive insurance until Adam redoes the invoice. Adam, please get in touch so we can get this sorted.

Adam Plumbing & Gas have left a fleet vehicle parked on a crowded residential street, unmoved for the better part of 12 months. This is despite the owner of said vehicle appearing to have moved out of the local area months ago (when the 2 other fleet vehicles disappeared). Recent attempts to contact the company have diverted to Ken Hall Plumbing leaving me with little choice but to post publicly in the hopes the vehicle will be removed sooner rather than later. There are also business passwords and access codes readily visible through the front passenger window…

When another plumber cancelled and I had an electrician coming to replace my gas cooktop with an induction cooktop, I was in a jam. But after calling Adam, I had a gas plumber on-site in under two hours! The plumber was neat with his work and took away my old appliance.

I would highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Council had replaced our gas metre and noticed a gas leak. We came home from work finding our supply turned off. Not ideal -we use gas for cooking as well as hot water.

We got in touch with Adam the same evening- he was quick to communicate, asked for more information (photos) and was at our home the next morning. His thorough and honest analysis of the situation was fantastic, he found one gas leak by the metre outside as well as another one inside the house (cooktop).

Both leaks were repaired within 24 hours. Adam and his team were professional and lovely to deal with.
