I do not normally post reviews but would like to share my experience with Crystal Hearing.
I first contacted Meaghan at Crystal Hearing back in May this year. I suffer from single sided deafness following surgery a few years back. Meaghan tested my hearing loss and we settled on trying some in the ear hearing aids. These were fitted and generously I was offered a few weeks to try them. Whilst they had some good points, I did not enjoy the plugged ear feeling. After talking with Meaghan, with no fuss she recommended I try a behind the ear option. These were ordered and fitted within a week. The result was amazing and a much better option for me. To summarise, I found Meaghan extremely professional and she made the process easy. I would happily recommend crystal hearing to anyone needing help with their hearing.

I was asked (very early in to our friendship) to write a positive review for Meaghan’s business. Afterwards, this was asked of my partner. Looking through the reviews there are many (at least 30+) that I can see are from Meaghan’s friends – not anyone who has used Meaghan’s services.
When catching up with Meaghan, she would regularly give updates from her problem clients and always laugh about them.
Be careful when using Meaghan’s services and make sure to take each review with a grain of salt!

I had an appointment yesterday for microsuction earwax removal and Meaghan was very professional yet caring, gentle and friendly and did a wonderful job of clearing my ears. I will most definitely book any and all future audiology services with her and will highly recommend her to family and friends.

I have been seeing Meaghan for 2 and a half years now in clinic for wax removal. She is always efficient, kind and helpful, not to mention my mum is also a customer and she also helped my late grandmother. Beyond appreciative 🙂

I called up to ask some general information, the lovely girl who obviously pretty shy offered for me o speak with someone who may be able to help, he got on the phone and straight away seemed passive aggressive, he asked for my name I said it a little bit faster then usual but also cause im not in their system for call back etc. I still gave him my name he got pretty rude about how fast I said it and asked me again to say my last name and made an unwanted comment stating “I can’t actually type that fast” pretty saracastic and rude if you ask me? When I never intended him to and that’s what I said, and told me he doesn’t need unwanted comments. Understandable if he’s having a bad day today, but that should honestly reflect on him and how he approaches a topic or approach a possible new client. Really rude and disheartening. Thanks

Her assistant Lisa was very efficient and friendly I highly recommend both of them.

Her approach was not only thorough but also tailored to my needs, which made a huge difference in my recovery. Each session felt productive. The exercises and techniques they provided were practical and easy to follow at home, which really helped me stay consistent.

On top of her expertise, Belinda created a welcoming and supportive environment. I never felt rushed, and she listened to my concerns. I felt anxious that my hand was quite bad and was going to be a very slow recovery . Cut my middle finger tendon, had me in surgery that day then had seen the whole team for my therapy and got me back to normal in just under 8 weeks. Really a great friendly group of people and super supportive to get you back to 100%

It’s been an exceptional experience with City Physio and specifically with Physiotherapist Simon and the Remedial Massage Therapist Pavel. After suffering from whiplash due to a car accident. Simon’s expertise and care have been evident from the very first session. They listened to my concerns, provided a treatment plan, and have helped me make significant progress in my recovery. Both Simon and Pavel are professional and personable, with a down to earth approach. I feel confident and supported in my path to recovery.

Had a remedial massage with Pavel. Excellent service, great conversation, advice, and explanation throughout the whole appointment. What a legend!

The worst physio I have ever been to. I had Mr Simon Mew treat me twice for headaches and both times were perfunctory. His “massage” was more like caressing, and he did it absentmindedly while playing with his phone (he only used one hand, the massage was intermittent without any force). After 15 minutes, he couldn’t wait to tell me that the treatment was over, without any stretching or daily maintenance advice, and didn’t even ask if I felt better. If he doesn’t know how to do physiotherapy, then he must be racist to treat me like this.

I’ve been to many different physios who all use massages as a recovery method, and after visiting them, I rarely found that I had received a good massage. Many of these physios would often go too light on the massages. This is the opposite with Linda; she ensures that she delivers an amazing hands-on massage, as well as the occasional cupping and dry needling session.

I’ve been going to Linda for about 6 years now for treatment of an ongoing inflammatory disease. Her treatment of my condition has always been excellent. Simon has also treated me for trismus following wisdom tooth removal, which was very effective and allowed me to talk, sing and eat without pain (I’ve never experienced pain like it!). Highly recommend her and the whole team at City Physio.

Can’t recommend Luke enough! As a younger person needing hearing aids, I have found his approach incredibly empathetic and kind. He’s also very informative, great at thoroughly explaining the more technical things, and highly responsive to queries. I had previously received another quote for top-of-the-line hearing aids at another audiologist, and Independent Hearing saved me 20%.

Had been a loyal customer of The Kalculators for a number of years, but this was my last visit. Charged for a ‘capital gains calculation’ on my share portfolio: never happened before previously, plus this was a report that I had at my fingertips but was not asked for, so feel a little cheated. The accountant didn’t seem the slightest bit interested in us and didn’t ask many questions to try and get us a better return. Stupid and confusing app to do all documentation through, and although advised them of our new address, they failed to update this information on the official paperwork. We’ll do tax returns ourselves from now on.
