Pretty good! I had the katsu-don, and it was seasoned well. My server was a bit slow to bring water, over 5 minutes after the person sat after me, but otherwise they were prompt and considerate. I was very pleased

The ramen special and aburi salmon don were delicious. Aburi salmon don was better on our first visit. Second time the food was slightly cold, not hot. 10% surcharge during public holidays.

Janet’s Journey

Authentic Japanese eatery located in CBD, known for the best tempura and that it was. The prawn tempura is a favorite. Flavored Saki and variety of beer by bottle but the Japanese tea will even complement any dish served. Has a good selection of wines as well. The entrees are great servings, especially the chicken teriyaki! The sashimi is impeccably delicious and definitely worth a try and of course the sesame gelati was a highlight. Staff and service were on point. Highly recommended!

Tonkotsu ramen tastes so good. The pork broth is thick and flavourful. The hanjuku egg is perfect. Small shop but cozy.

Gandharva Ashtekar

The establishment has a modest capacity of approximately 25-30 seats. They provide delicious meals with excellent service, although it's not particularly exceptional since it's a decent establishment. Regarding Japanese restaurants, it would enhance the ambience if they removed all their food packaging materials from the guest table.

Munching Adelaide (Munching.in.adelaide)

If you are looking for a Japanese restaurant that will satisfy your cravings, then you MUST try this place. I was blown away by how tasty the dishes are, yes, all single one of them. Of course, I am always partial with Aburi salmon, unagi, and scallops, so I have to say those are my top 3! Let's not forget the mactha and black sesame! thesw compete to the ones I had in Japan before. The owner and staff were so friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back!

Akimitsu dining is set up in a cozy setting. The moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and traditional decor set up the tone for a wonderful meal. Menu features a variety of classic dishes, from tempura to perfectly grilled yakitori to the flavorful aburi salmon don. Service is attentive and friendly & the prices are reasonable for the quality offered.
