What a great place to go as a couple as we did, or meet friends here after work! Vibrant crowd, friendly staff, not just great beer but the food is amazing! Loved that you could just scan the menu and order drinks and food from that! Then a waiter/waitress brings out your food and drinks as it’s ready! We got the Tuesday dinner special–Wagyu burger with all of the fixings and super huge portion! Came with fries AND a pint of beer—all for AUS $25!!!! You cannot beat that! Huge selection of beers, but nice wine and cocktail choices on the menu also. Great food selections! Highly recommend if you are looking for a casual, laid back pub/restaurant!

Visited the popular Belgian Beer Cafe, and if you’re curious about their vegetarian options, you’ll be pleasantly surprised! We devoured their delicious cauliflower wings, and I couldn’t resist ordering a cheeky kids falafel meal, which was super tasty. Paired it all with a La Trappe beer, the cult favourite. Perfect combo!

The terrace was a pleasant place to sit during the afternoon. We ordered chicken schnitzels that were tasty but took 30 minutes to arrive on a fairly slow, late Sunday afternoon, and the waitress who delivered them didn’t say a single word to us. The toilets were feral!

Today I just wanna find a chai latte.
But I found here
I don’t know that is pub or cafe well
The basic mussel dish was perfect.
I was able to drink iced Americano for the first time in Australia. You can eat that white bread for about $6. Potato chips are also fresh and so delicious. I don’t usually eat potato chips, but I ate them all here.
Anyways Everything is fresh here!!
Thanks to the kind staff who listened to my strange English well.
And the atmosphere here is so good that I was drinking coffee and sleep came to me.
Thank you so much!

What a great venue. Sitting on top of Adelaide’s North end with amazing views over the park lands leading to Adelaide Oval. We booked in for lunch and selected the “We feed you” menu and it was amazing. 14hour slow cooked Lamb Shoulder was the stand out, but all the dishes surpassed our expectations. Will definitely be back here for a few more long lunches. Congrats to the Management, service was friendly and attentive. Loved it.

Fantastic! Outstanding service by our waiter Daniel, despite being a busy friday night he brought the A game for pur special occassion and can’t thank him enough. Meal was delicious, the wagyu skewers we just had to get more and the steak was cooked perfect. Pretty much anything on the menu is something you will crave till you come back again! Great wine list too and cocktails

We had a Sunday lunch at 2KW for our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, the service hospitality and food was exceptional. The view was also stunning, we love to go back at night to see the view at night, but either way we will go back, highly recommend.

Fried Chicken Cravings Satisfied! I was initially super skeptical about this place since I’m not really a fried chicken person. But the moment I tasted it, it was fried magic in my mouth. The Blue Cheese dip was divine!!

Service was great despite the hectic period. My only issue was walking in the restaurant was really smelly at the time I walked in. Could’ve just been a really crowded time. So we decided to eat outside!

Nola is a great place to hang for a while and enjoy both food and atmosphere. It also has a very large number of whiskeys , and a few signature cocktails which are quite inventive and delicious.
My friend and I went on a Friday evening, which was busy and the downstairs area was full , but there was seating on the second floor so we took the stairs . It’s amazing how many people you can sit in a small place – but it adds to the atmosphere. There is both a bar upstairs and downstairs- form what I could see the beers were more downstairs, but the cocktail bar was situated on the second floor .There was also live music while we were eating , so that definitely was an added bonus .
The staff are all friendly and welcoming and quite happy to explain anything to you if asked . I also enjoyed watching the bar staff make a few cocktails , it was it’s own form of entertainment.
If we’re talking food , think Creole , Southern US , Louisiana type fare backed up by an amazing variety of whiskeys from around the world . My whiskey sour was made with Buffalo Trace , which is a smoked bourbon whiskey that I love.
The food was good – standouts were the burnt pork bites and the amazing jalapeño cornbread- they should sell that to takeaway because it was amazing and so full of flavour .
The only downside was that I couldn’t hear the musician better because most people were talking , but it was a Friday evening so I suppose that’s par for the course .
Definitely worth a few more visits , and would be great midweek late to just sit at the bar and enjoy the whiskey .

We have a new go-to in Adelaide!
Recently we took a short trip to Adelaide so making the right choice for lunch was very important. Thankfully we had heard great things about NOLA so we decided to head there.
We advised the staff that we didn’t have a booking and were pleasantly surprised to hear they don’t take them so this got our dining experience off to a great start.
We grabbed a table upstairs and ordered via the QR code making everyone’s lives easier. On order was Cornbread, BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Smoked Bacon Mac and Cheese, Spicy Corn Ribs, Cajun Roasted Cauliflower with Almonds and Blue Cheese and lastly, Frickles which were Lightly battered dill pickles with fermented jalapeno aioli. To be fair we ordered A LOT because we basically could not rule any of the above dishes out.
The food was outstanding to say the very least. It was really hard to choose a favourite here so we rounded it down to 3. The Spicy Corn Ribs, BBQ Pork Belly and the Cauliflower were the most balanced and delicious of all. That’s not to take away from the others, it’s just that those made us go wow!
The atmosphere at this restaurant was also great. The music was not too loud but contained a seriously good playlist.
Additionally, the staff were friendly but gave us just the right amount of space to take our time with our meals and leave us to it. We are not afraid to say that we asked for take away containers for the leftovers here – and yes, it was that good!
All up, we can easily say we know where we’ll be eating next time we visit Adelaide!!

Visiting Adelaide for 24hrs.
Dropped in here for a drink. Sat outside on the main street which was nice; wine, people watching and good weather. Bar staff were friendly. There is a pool table and we were there on quiz night. The guy running it pulled us in along with three others. We all formed a table, just strangers having fun it was a good night. Found the hotel had a friendly nice vibe.

Now, if you want Coopers on tap, give this place a go. We’re knocking back an Aged Extra Stout, which I’d give 9/10. It certainly gives the English stouts a run for their money. A great atmosphere as well, means we’ll be back tomorrow for Trivia

Went in for a quick meal. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Steak was cooked to perfection. Salad was fresh. Chips were good, apart from being overly salty, with a hint of spice, but that’s fine. I like a bit of seasoning on my chips.

Tucked away in Adelaide, this hotel pub is an absolute gem that stands out for its cool atmosphere and impressive beer selection. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and classic pub charm.

One of the last pubs in Adelaide to retain a clear sense of atmosphere and culture that reaches back into the murky past and embraces the future as well. It’s not for everyone, but I love it – not just for the space itself, which has barely changed down the decades, but also for the drinks list and the food. It has a character that might not appeal to everyone, but if you don’t mind rough edges and an attitude, you will love this place.

DOB gets the gong. What’s not to like? 12 of us then 13 for an end of year function. Easy to accommodate change. Order taken at table. Friendly waitress. My burger was great, a very likeable meal. Good amount but not too many chips. Roll kind of disintegrated whilst eating but for GF, a stellar outcome. Wife raved about fish and chips. Love the decor and vibe. Great staff!

This restaurant offers a gluten-free menu and has a pleasant atmosphere with beautiful lighting and paintings. My experience with the food was mixed. The chicken fried wings were excellent—crispy and flavorful. The dumplings and garlic bread were ok. For the main course, I ordered Thai green curry (vegetarian); it was tasty but lacked enough sauce. I expected a rich, creamy curry sauce to pour over the rice, but there was very little on the dish. Overall, The meal was ok and there’s definitely room for improvement.

I recently dined at the Duke of Brunswick with a large’ish’ group, and it was a fantastic experience overall! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our group felt well taken care of. The menu had something for everyone, including great options for dietary preferences, which made it easy to cater to our diverse party.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a group gathering. While the service slowed a little during peak times, but the team’s friendliness and effort more than made up for it.

Highly recommend the Duke of Brunswick for anyone looking to host a group dinner or just enjoy a great meal out. We’ll definitely be back!

I loved that! it was full when I visited. Well, I think because the happy hour, must’ve been for that.
I liked the atmosphere, the place is very spacious, tables are wide and are spaced between them, although it didn’t seem like a British pub to me. However, I had a great time.
Also, the flavor of the dishes was delicious, I loved the mash peas .
As for drinks they have a wide variety of wines, beers and more.

Situated in the back streets of Adelaide and can be a little hard to find, on entrance the bar looks fabulous full of quirky ornaments and objects. We came on a Sunday and this was the only bar on our pub crawl that charged a Sunday charge (which I do understand it helps to cover costs, but…). I knew it was a cigar bar, but the smell was overwhelming, so be warned. The cocktail list was great and they were tasty, but there are so many buts for me. There are so many great bars in the back streets and this evening just didn’t make me want to rush back.

Made a visit to Hains & Co during my recent trip to Adelaide. It was one of the 3 cocktail bars I went to in ADL, the other ones being Maybe Mae and Bibliotheca. Hains has decent cocktails but nothing stood out for me personally. The Smuggler’s Soul cocktail was my fav among the ones I tried.

Overall a decent bar which is worth a visit.

We stood outside, the whole street smelled funky. Drinks were overpriced. $12.20 for a can of beer! $17 for whiskey. Sorry, nothing stood out to me. I didn’t enjoy the vibe. Some guy was smoking a cigar next to us which added to the funky smell of the whole place. Not a great experience in my opinion. I did not order any food, and service was fast. I did not enter inside, so unsure how it was inside. On the outside, it was pretty underwhelming.

The treasury sells draft beer for $8 and the atmosphere is chilled and gardens look great. No bad smell inside or outside, and no smokers in the gardens.

So glad to have found this place on a short visit to Adelaide. Staff are knowledgeable and so friendly. Delicious cocktails, and the halloumi fries are definitely worth a special mention! It’s a fine balance between music volume, lighting, etc. to create a great atmosphere, but Bank Street Social have nailed it. Thank you!

Service was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, approachable & welcoming.
Drinks were made in record time with finesse and expertise.
It’s a shame that the only bar snacks available were pretzels. However, it was midnight on a Wednesday.
I will definitely be back.

Fantastic bar! Super friendly service with a huge selection of spirits. Beautifully well done space.

Had a very well made martini with a gin recommendation that was not an everyday gin.

Brilliant spot!

*didn’t eat anything but everything smelt amazing and looked great going out.

We hosted a day 2 wedding event at the Gallery rooftop and the service on the day and prior was flawless. James, Alice and Alex were all incredible to work with, honest and helpful. We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather which allowed the roof to be open on the rooftop which enhanced the atmosphere further. The food was timely and we received countless compliments on the quality. Can’t wait to host our next event at this stunning venue!

Thanks Gallery Team!

I want to thank everyone at the gallery for such an amazing night. My partner and I have our engagement party there on the 14/09/24 and the service was amazing. I can not recommend this place anymore. The lead up to the night was amazing and Steve who was looking after us on that night was nothing but fantastic, very accommodating and felt like they were never in our faces. I hope they enjoyed us being there as much as we loved being there!
