We did the Mission Metropolitan room today. Was a very challenging room for our 2nd Escape Room. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful when needed.
We managed to escape, although we were allowed a little extra time due to arriving early.
Thoroughly recommend, and looking forward to maybe trying another of their rooms soon.
Great work guys, thanks for a great time.

Had a great time escaping from the Bermuda Escape room this morning with our young family. The room was a good challenge for us and we escaped just! A very professional setup and the photobooth at the end is a brilliant addition. Would recommend to those that have never done an escape room before to those that have done several, some nice challenges to solve. A great time had by all. Thank you

My wife wanted to go to an escape room for her birthday. It was the first time for my wife and me. Our older children had been before (in Adelaide and the US). We all agreed it was excellent. Very elaborate sets, multiple rooms, great staff. We thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend Mindshift Escape Rooms

Unbelievable experience with our amazing host Angelo. He was super accommodating, and knows so much about the Bermuda. His knowledge of these riddle rooms is comparable to Elon Musks knowledge of space. Highly recommend you visit in future for an out of mind experience.

What could be better than a morning wander through the garden, with the scent of flowers carried on the crisp autumn breeze and the sun casting a golden glow over the petals?
Time seemed to slow right down, letting the fragrance weave through my hair, brush against my fingertips, and settle in every glance. Even on the walk back, the sweet scent lingered in the air and covered my soul.
With love,

Loved it. Plenty of surrounding parking. Picturesque and stunning gardens. Great for families, onsite cafe. I could have had a second visit as was beautiful to walk around. We were lucky with good weather and the Chihuly exhibition of glass sculptures was on at the time bringing an element of vibrance to the day we visited. Worth a visit!

Unfortunately, only Melbourne seems to allow dogs on leash in the botanical gardens. Neither Adelaide nor Sydney does. But as we had paid parking already and wanted to spend a few hours in the park, we stayed in the Botanical park that surrounds the botanical gardens. We saw amazing trees with gigantic roots and lots and lots of bats. Was time well spent.

️Great place for when the weather isn’t good.
I visited the free exhibitions and was really impressed. I loved the part of aboriginal history, as you can learn a lot through different media’s. Maps, videos, auto, games and of course the classic showcase.
The staff were great as well, helpful, efficient and friendly.
I liked the atmosphere, it was quiet and peaceful. It wasn’t full so it was nice to just take your time with the exhibition.
There are plenty of car parks very close to it or you just take the public transport which is also great!
In the museum there is also a cafe, which was full and very popular.
If you are interested in more specific exhibitions then they offer paid admission as well. 25$ to see (currently) the history of the Vikings. I think that’s a pretty fair price.
All in all great way to spend a few hours.

Had a great time exploring the South Australian Museum right in the heart of Adelaide! The exhibits are well-organized and packed with interesting info from ancient fossils and giant squid to Aboriginal culture and South Australia’s rich natural history. It’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon with the family or even solo. Free entry is a bonus, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the city!

The museum has a massive taxidermy collection which is absolutely gorgeous. Apart from artifacts from island countries surrounding the Pacific, the Antarctic gallery is my favorite where I got to appreciate Shackleton’s remarkable adventure through pictures, journals, and equipments along with scientific findings throughout the expedition.
The Treasures of the Viking Age is wonderful even though a few exhibits are replica due to preservation reasons. But I love the narration of the exciting archeological discovery consisting of artifacts, videos, and LEGO sets. The unveiling of secrets through traces and analysis is fascinating and I learned so much in this journey!

Had a great time here! very fun experience and the building itself is really nice with an awesome lounge area. The escape room itself was well thought out, fun and engaging. I recommend doing the hardest option for adults, it’s pretty fun, reasonable price.
I think the timeframe given for the sessions are perfect. Easy to locate, staff are all very friendly, welcoming and professional.
The room we chose was just enough for six adults, anymore would be too crowded I think, making it uncomfortable and in the way of each other.

We had an incredible time in the “The collectors curse” escape room — one of the best themed rooms we’ve ever done! From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a world of eerie enchantments, mysterious relics, and shadowy secrets. The puzzles were cleverly crafted and immersive, with just the right balance of challenge and excitement. Every detail in the room felt deliberate and atmospheric — from the lighting and props to the sound effects that gave us chills in the best way.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our game master, Olly. From the very beginning, Olly set the tone with a perfect mix of humor, mystery, and energy. They were incredibly attentive and knew exactly when to step in with a nudge (without giving too much away). You could tell Olly was passionate about what they do, and it made the entire experience feel even more magical.
If you’re looking for a room that’s spooky, story-rich, and genuinely fun, this is it — and if you’re lucky enough to get Olly as your game master, you’re in for a treat. We’re already planning to come back for another round of adventure!

Although the Norwood cinema is far from home, it feels more comfortable to watch the movie, the sofa seat is retractable, the seat spacing of each row is more spacious, and the front and back rows are almost not affected, and will go again.

Disgusting! Waited outside cinema 3 after getting told it was being cleaned. When I walked in the entire cinema was like a dumpster. Bins were full, rubbish all over the floor and worse-melted chocolate was all over the seat where I was supposed to be sitting. This is very unacceptable from a place where hygiene should be priority.

We love this cinema! We come from the far south side of town because it’s worth the drive. Staff are very friendly and pleasant and the cinemas are so modern and well set out with endless leg room and the most dreamy comfortable seats that also recline with the push of a button. My only criticism would be that sometimes I miss some of the movie because I’m so relaxed & comfy I nod off accidentally. Just divine. Has spoilt me for other cinemas, they all seem so inferior and now I’ve become a cinema snob

Tried to watch Fantastic Four yet the young teenage kids celebrating a birthday party had other ideas. They didn’t seem to mind that non party patrons who paid top dollar were trying to watch yet couldn’t hear over them. The 2 ,so called parents, didn’t seem to mind nor did the staff. Despite notifying staff who came into the cinema they did nothing to address the noise. The owner said he would email us complimentary tickets as compensation but this never happened either. Pfffft we won’t be back. Wallis cinemas we continue to be our go to.

Cinema was great, clean, recliners were great.
Issues came from the lack of food and snacks, the front was so tiny with nothing to really choose from. The popcorn was disgusting. It was so salty, my mouth still hurts today from it haha. We got the “large” and it’s so much smaller then Event Cinema, was shocked. It was depicted as massive on the screens.

☆ 4/5
Very rude and unhelpful staff. Bought DBox tickets to the F1 movie – arrived and 5 mins before the session was to start we realised our seats weren’t working. We went to see the staff and they then advised the seats weren’t working due to a previous power outage. This was after we spent $120 on snacks and the staff watched us go in and didn’t say a word to us about it. They could have told us before we went in – ideally before we bought snacks so we could have decided to either stay or get a refund. They couldn’t care less and probably hoped we’d just put up with it. Plus the cinema was filthy. No wonder the cinemas were empty.

A fantastic venue but the old charisma doesn’t make up for seating that is made for a generation of smaller people. Still at least you can see over people’s heads. Covid seating a bit odd. Will we ever be able to stand up and dance? Bee Gees first concert band since Covid and they were pretty good.

Great venue for a concert. Has a lot of character. At interval they had staff directing people in the ladies toilets. Seeing the crowd that was there, everything went quite efficiently . Went to Thebarton last night for the first time and was thoroughly impressed at the quality of service offered. When I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and chatty staff in a well-kept lobby. The venue is massive, and maintains beautifully aged decor with a multitude of levels. Cloak room staff were very helpful when it came to catering to one of my unusual requests, and bar staff served my exact portions of alcohol at a fair price. Location for Tasting Australia, beautiful use of the square.
Fountains, lights, music …it was stunning.
A great variety of food vendors, ranging from fried chicken, pork belly lollipops, Thai sweet potato donuts and Vegemite soft serve.
Would have liked more seating/tables though, made it exceptionally difficult to enjoy the delicious range of food and drinks.

This square was established in 1854 and named after England’s Queen Victoria. It was planned by Colonel William Light as he sited and laid out the City of Adelaide.
The Square was redeveloped between 2012 and 2014 and now plays host to a number of different events and activities.
The fountain at the southern end represents the three rivers which supply Adelaide with water – the Murray, the Torrens and the Onkaparinga.
There are a number of benches available and a variety of trees providing shade for those wishing to relax on the grass, eat lunch or just watch the world go by.
It’s a lovely area to spend time, with majestic buildings – including the Catholic Cathedral – nearby.
It was a shame, though, to see so many cigarette buttons lying around the benches.

Victoria Square (Tarntanyangga)
⭐☆☆☆☆
If you’ve ever wondered what colonial cosplay looks like, come to Victoria Square in Adelaide. Picture it: the very heart of Kaurna Country, renamed after Queen Victoria – a monarch who never set foot here, never tasted a pasty, and could not have found Adelaide on a map without divine intervention.
The lawns? Pleasant. The fountain? Serviceable. The atmosphere? Utterly dripping with imperial nostalgia. One half expects a man in a red coat to leap from the shrubbery and declare, ‘By order of the Crown, this bench is ours!’ Meanwhile, Kaurna heritage, which actually belongs here, is relegated to a polite footnote.
Do yourself a favour: admire the architecture, snap a photo, then roll your eyes skyward at the absurdity of it all. Until the city shows some wit and restores the Kaurna name Tarntanyangga, this square remains less a landmark than a punchline.
One star – for the fountain alone. The other four? Carried off by the Empire.

Such a gorgeous spot right in the middle of the city—easy to get to, whether you’re walking from the East End or parking nearby. The lake, the bridges, the little rose garden—they all make it a favourite for both lunch breaks and photo walks. Just a heads up: there’s often temporary fencing for events, which can get in the way of the view or a peaceful loop, but it’s still well worth a visit.

Had a great time at the show (Adults Only Magic Show), full of laughs and innuendo, a bit raunchy at times but all in fun.
Disappointed that drink venue nearby was card only, because of that we didn’t try any other vendors.
Highly recommend the show we went to, tickets received thanks to South Aussie with Cosi who always delivers for his fans

Love this park on the east side of Adelaide city. Has a nice vibe, excellent paths for walking or riding. Good amenities and fun playground for the kids. I used to take my children here and we’d go on the row boats. Sad to see that Joe is no longer there as he ran such a welcoming & friendly business.

This is a great space on a cold day. It was cosy and warm. Lovely staff. Lots of interactive exhibitions full of interesting facts, things to learn and creative displays that will expand your mind and grow your imagination. Kat Bell’s exhibition was a highlight with an interactive digital media installation that you could control whilst lounging on comfy pillows.

Visited MOD today with kid and had a great time. First of all, it’s completely free to enter. There’s also a good café nearby for coffee and snacks. The space is spread across multiple levels — the ground floor, one level below, and the first floor.
There were quite a few interactive exhibits and sessions, which the kid absolutely loved (and so did I!). It’s not a very long visit — around 30 to 45 minutes — but it makes for a fun and engaging little getaway for kids. Definitely worth a visit!
