St Clair Recreation Centre - YMCA

Amazing modern facility comprising of 6 basketball courts all air conditioned and indoors with grand stand seating that folds away and basketball rings that raise up and away to open the whole place up into a space that can be used to facilitate events comfortably. Approx neighboured with a new 25m² playground and toilet facilities everyone is happy. We visited an Lego exhibition which was amazing.

We lost 20 minutes of our booking. Booked two courts for badminton. Went to YMCA in time and the court were not ready. ‘You have to set up your own nets’, thats the part of the booking. The information was not given during the time of booking. So we grabbed the all equipment and set it up. Now, when you are playing you will get direct outside bright light in the short-sighted line and you will face difficulty seeing the shuttles. We requested to drop the curtain or shades and they said, ‘yes’, but that didn’t happen. Also remember that you also have to put the equipment back if there is no other booking after you. Enjoy!!! Should I book again??? $30/hour/court and you receive awful service.

Nice basketball courts, good staff

When are they going to polish the floors???? You literally slide on the basketball court. I play casual ball here and you cant change direction cause your literally skating on ice. You guys really need to grip the courts up again before someone gets hurt

Didn't go in. Impressive outside, ultra modern building, spacious, ample parking. Spotted an odd guy in a coat and open red shirt, sneaking behind cars and checking out something. Noticed that as he did the same to car. Couldn't figure out what he's up to. Later walked into the building!
