Terrible experience here, disappointing enough we felt the need to leave a review. Poor standard of facilities and grounds. Shocking experience with car parking also. Be prepared with your walking shoes. They also don’t allow dogs on the grounds, so was unable to watch my brother in law play football when a game was held here. Was told we need to leave by a very rude and grumpy caretaker of the college (we have a 12 week old puppy). Very disappointing experience, will be letting everyone know not to bother watching family members if they’re playing a game on the SPOC grounds.

Great school I’m really proud I get to graduate from this fine education. Amazing respectful teachers and lots of wide opportunities for sports

I am surprised the school management is not aware of the relevance of reviews and social media posts, with regards to image & institutional branding these days..perhaps the Headmaster is on top of the schools image in another ways? BUY why not enlist the support of the Alumni?

I visited the clinic for a regular clean with dental hygienist Tina Pezzaniti yesterday.
Tina is so welcoming & puts you at ease immediately. She is extremely professional, gentle & very caring. I highly recommend her & the head dentist Jane Boroky for 1st class treatment & care.

Chicken skewers, good but over priced

Chicken tenders, they sell out quickly Better get in the line early

Burgers, dry, soggy lettuce

Chips, soggy, burnt, tough, odd coloration, over priced

Sauces, sometimes they leave it there for a while and it makes it hard to squeeze out sauce.

Chicken wings, good(most of the time), don’t go late to the line u will miss it or get it cold and soggy.

Onion rings, uneven batter coating, poured an unholy amount of frying oil in the cup, soggy, greasy, lack of salt and over priced.

Deserts, they are all pretty good, although being overpriced(if you want to save money don’t buy it).

Slushy, affordable, refreshing, different flavor variations every week and overall really good(highly recommend for a first buy).

Toasties; hard as rock, dry, salty, overpriced(only worth getting if it’s the last item left of the rack), also overpriced.

Tuckshop staff, they just chill like that, don’t forget your id card(they will nag at you), don’t try to reuse your id card replacement slips for more than 4 days, choose different staff members to scan your items everyday to avoid them finding out.(although it’s highly recommended to just order another id card cuz they WILL find out eventually).

Lastly please don’t push in the line it’s not cool.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to join Goodstart Prospect (Fitzroy) childcare centre. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms. The staff are absolutely sensational—warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their communication is excellent, and we always feel informed and supported. Since starting in March, our little one has absolutely thrived—growing in confidence, learning new things every day, and clearly loving her time there. Making the move was truly the best decision for our family. Highly recommend!

We chose Goodstart Prospect for our child as my sister’s children had such a positive experience with them for their childcare years. We have had our little one at GP for over a year now, and we are very confident in the support and attention that he is given. All of the educators and staff genuinely care for the children, and are happy to have a chat at drop off and pick up.
The new purpose built centre is gorgeous, allowing lots of natural light into the rooms and access to the outdoor areas. We look forward to continuing our son’s childcare journey with Goodstart Prospect.

I chose Goodstart EL Prospect for my two-year-old daughter, partly due to our positive experience with an inter-state Goodstart centre for my elder daughter, and also because of the warm and welcoming impression I received during the School tour with Shanea. Over the past three months, I’ve been very happy with the decision – it’s been a joy to see my daughter enjoying her time at daycare and having fun each day. I truly appreciate the genuine care and support provided by Ellisha, Nicola, and Joey. The new and clean facilities are also a wonderful bonus.

The care and attention Sarim received at this centre for the last 1.5 years was amazing. From the very beginning, the team has made us feel incredibly welcome and supported, creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our little one to thrive.

A special mention goes to Joey, Priyanka, Louise, and Nicola — each of them brings something truly special to the team. Their calm and positive energy put him instantly at ease, and the gentle encouragement he received constantly from them build his confidence every day. Sarim will deeply miss them.

It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being and development of every child. We’re so grateful for the love, effort, and professionalism shown by the entire team. Highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a safe, supportive, and joyful place for their children.

My daughter Georgia has been attending to this centre since last year, their customer service is amazing they are always supportive and very quick to reply to any enquiries I have had.
The new centre is beautiful, big, with a great outdoor area for the kids to play, parking is very easy to access, all the staff are really caring and supportive. We’ve been with them for two years, both our daughter (who recently graduated) and our son (who still attends) absolutely love it. Staff is incredibly courteous and caring, creating a warm environment where our children are genuinely happy.

I will never forget the day I entered this school and the day I graduated from this school. This year, without a doubt, my best memories were made in this school. I wish happiness to those who are in this school. It was very hard to leave all the people I once knew. I hope that in the future I can sit in the same class with my best classmates again, be in this school and make new memories.

I learning English in this school yet, I like to this school because so many students have many languages, my friends speak in my language like to this. Then my language is Portuguese(Brazil) but I learn to English and I understand a little bit English, my level is 4, I want to arrive in this levels(5-6), I’m intermediate again. Yet have many things that yet learn to arrive in next year with the English is good and going to advance/Transition.

The facilities were amazing and standards were so high. Had many great experiences. The pasties in the brown bags that we had every day for lunch were the best I ever tasted.

Very tasty fruits and veggies! The farm tour was the best. We got to pet alpacas goats and a bull. We also got to see kangaroos. Recommend this place if you’re an animal lover

As a past student of this school I can say that it was not great at all. The bullying aspect of this school is horrendous. The staff here are either clueless or do not care and one teacher in particular Mr zidcovik (Mr Z) seems to get enjoyment from demeaning and belitting students rather than showing them an ounce of compassion and support. He should not be working the the school system what so ever.
I received councilling by their school support worker who then up and left without a word. Was transferred to another support worker who came on board to the school who I can’t remeber the name of and she was awful!! Not someone you want to be supporting your child at all.
The programs this school offers are wonderful the experiences and the farm are great, the woodworking and electronics department are also fantastic but majority of the teachers and staff let this schools culture and atmosphere down.
The only teachers I can give props to are Mr Heynemann, Mr Anderson and mrs lively. They were kind compassionate and wanted to actually teach students.
If the culture and staff at this school upped their game and actually implemented bullying programs and more support for struggling students then this would be a great school but they fall far too short in this aspect.
I was bullied by teachers deamened and belittled by staff as a child. And thats not the kind of environment you want your child to experience.
Also had teachers break my art project and blame me for it and loose my research project once I handed it in. Not a vibe.

I reckon Urrbrae has to be one of the best schools because of its agriculture program, which people say is really good.

I had attending this school in my earlier years of my life, the teacher were atrocious. The school put the bear minimum into the students and their wellbeing. The worst teacher Mr Z made schooling there very difficult due to his very disrespectful behaviour to the students attending. But the best teacher Mr Brokus. The farm taught me many things that I will use in my further life.

A wonderful and full education can be had at this School. Broadens your outlook on life. Especially if you live in the city. Worth travelling the distance. I am an old scholar. Attended Urrbrae in the 1960s.

Great school. I’ve never felt so horrified of the education system in my life. The teachers sound like they’ve gone through a stroke when explaining subjects, this doesn’t promote very much confidence in the students, as we can all sense the teacher him/herself not particularly understanding the subject. bullying in this school almost counts as a 5th subject perfected during outside of class ( The most time we have interacting with other students). By sending your kids here you by extension promote and support their future in the worst possible way. This turns good docile students into wanted criminals.

It’s a nice school however toilets are always disgusting and their could a be a larger variety of subjects especially in the later years eg, psychology, computer science, cooking

I am a previous student and can highly recommend the College! You get what you pay for these days and I can confidently say Prince Alfred is one of the best schools in Australia! We have now sent both of our boys there and are very happy with the curriculum and the student support the school offers.

I avoid walking near PAC because some of the students there seem rude and discriminatory towards Asians. It’s disappointing to see such behavior, especially in a diverse community.

Went to this school myself as the son of low income parents courtesy of an academic scholarship. Have now sent my two boys there. Could not recommend it highly enough. Ignore the comments about snobs etc – they’re rubbish. The school actively teaches boys to be valuable community members. Teaches them to respect diversity, to develop self-confidence and self awareness. Their mentoring of the young men in their care is brilliant, and all staff are absolutely committed to helping students achieve their best. PAC has always played its sport to win – no more than any other school. St Peters may have greater facilities, but no school can offer a better education and mentoring than PAC.

Great sportsmanship and training, teaches kid to be humble and great educational experience for kids. Rarely any bulling other that people who be idiots to people. And plenty of very kind,unselfish and sporty kids. Plenty of dodgeball.

This school is wonderful. My nieces here are so confident, polite and poised young ladies. So proud of them. But, I do feel like they are missing out on the fun things such as socials, intercoms and interactions with other schools. This is just a loss of an opportunity for their confidence to continue to grow outside of the school environment.

The best school ever. This is the school that my daughter adores. Unfortunately, we had to move out of state, so we had to withdraw. Ever since, she has asked me to bring her back to this school.

Such a shame a great school has become so rubbish in the past few years since new leadership. As a previous student who was not supported through my mental health difficulties throughout years 11 to 12, by leadership, I had to rely on very few teachers who have now mostly left or been kicked out based on false accusations and had their lives ruined. This school does not support everyone and makes it very difficult for students who need extra care to thrive. The unfair and cruel behaviour they show to not only their students but staff as well is appalling. the only star i can give is for my previous teachers who were there to support me through difficult times and not at all thanks to those who run the school. If your child suffers with mental health or is prone to anxiety this is not the school for them. They care more about ATAR results than their students wellbeing.

Amazing school & amazing staff & teachers!! They are up to date with the latest technology including 3D printers & have amazing school grounds!! Very family & community orientated, with many fund raisers & charity collections throughout the year!! A very kind & generous school community!!

CBC has a lot of problems that make it a frustrating place for students. One of the biggest issues is the strict rules that often feel unfair or unnecessary. Students can get in trouble for small things like having the wrong shoes or forgetting a notebook. Instead of focusing on helping students learn, the school sometimes seems more concerned with enforcing minor rules, which can make the environment stressful.

Another problem with CBC is the lack of variety in activities and opportunities. Some students feel that the school puts too much emphasis on certain subjects or sports while ignoring others. This can make students who have different interests feel left out or unappreciated. For example, if you’re not into the school’s main sport, there might not be much for you to do, which can make school life boring and repetitive.

Finally, communication between the school and students can be poor. Decisions are sometimes made without asking for student opinions, and important announcements aren’t always clear or timely. This leads to confusion, frustration, and a feeling that the school doesn’t really listen to its students. When a school ignores student voices, it’s hard for students to feel respected and motivated to do their best.

Great school, but they need to get rid of some of the older teachers and they need to update the O’Brien building and our gym is a let down it looks so vintage, I mean our school can’t even afford a proper electronic scoreboard on the footy oval, we keep track of the score on a whiteboard, like hello! how poor are we, Mr Jalleh is the best science teacher ever he always make sure your very well prepared for your science tests and exams.

My son goes here and honestly, this is the best school ever for him the other catholic schools he went to he would he bullied but honestly this is the best and it’s been two years now nothing bad ever happened but whenever i want to pick my son up for his appointments they don’t call the teacher they email and would took hours for them to check i’ve told them to call them the amount of times he missed his appointment but eventually this school is good.

I’ve had an amazing experience at Christian Brothers College. The school has a positive and supportive culture where students feel valued. The teachers are passionate and always ready to help, making sure every student gets the support they need to succeed.

The facilities are top-notch, with great classrooms and excellent sports areas. There are also lots of extracurricular activities to get involved in, whether it’s sports, music, or leadership programs.

Overall, CBC is a fantastic school that offers a great education and a strong sense of community. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing school as I go here myself and I suggest that you send your kids here. The education is AMAZING, some teachers are really annoying though and you can make loads of friends. The only bad things about CBC is, The price, Some teachers, You sometimes get teased by the older students, and some people just bully you for absolutely no reason, but overall it is a really good high school to send your children to.

I went here years ago. I was bullied by a few teachers because I was overweight. My single mother was behind in payments and I was eventually asked to leave. This negative experience lives with me until this day. I remember having to go to a public school for year 11 and 12 and the teachers treated us so much better. Go luck in the future CBC.

Honestly the school has some things to improve on but overall good, teachers are great and one of the reasons I was able to go into military service as they supported me with all the documents and signatures required as it is quite extensive, the careers program this school has is top notch as well as the careers councillor and facilities are great, need to get their act on the students, the students make the school unbearable sometimes especially younger year levels, puts a horrible look on the school and for a private school you’d think they would be more selective and have more scholarship programs, they seriously need to get rid of a lot of students, there’s a reason this school is on the advertiser frequently, they were just on the most recent one about why teachers are leaving and there our school is in one of the first edits of a kid fighting in uniform

We take racism and all forms of harassment seriously. We engage with those involved and their parents and respond appropriately. This is in accordance with our policies that we regularly review as we seek to care for the well being of all our students and staff.

Teachers are friendly and the majority are passionate and well suited for the job. I do think the school limits itself by reducing their income by being exclusive and that that exclusion hinders inexperienced students when they finally enter into the “real world”

Contrary to popular belief, this school isn’t as terrible as most people say. Sure there’s bullying out the roof, some kid jerked it in back of a rememberence day assembly, nicotine consumption is almost expected, some teachers downright can’t teach, wellbeing staff mostly suck, and you HAVE to fit in to be alive, but hey! You just MIGHT be able to learn something.

Pros:
– You can get away with wearing the wrong socks (believe me, most people end up not caring unless you’re forced to show ’em for a uniform check)
– Most school rules may as well not be there
– Really good people you can meet
– Kids are openly homophobic (PERFECT for your newly sprouted gay kid)
– Wide variety of subjects to choose from in Year 9 onward

Cons:
– BASICALLY everything else!
– Such as, kid jorking it in back of a rememberance day assembly.
– Or, kid tearing down the pride flag for 20 bucks (valid; $20 is $20.).
– Or, a teacher stating “if you were my kids I would beat you”.
– Or, almost constant fights.
– Or, rampant racism, sexism, ableism, anything under the sun. A really adaptive environment for youth growth, obviously.

Welcome to Charles Campbell College; the only school that traumatises the kids more than you have already; the only school where the entire rock-brained school will flock to one area in slight whisper of a fight. Like perfectly behaved, society-ready little sheep.

All math teachers suck have no respect for you except a very low amount if ur kid is t good at footy straight or hot they will have an alright time but if ur kids are gay Trans lgbtq community it is going to be a living hell fair few fights wich is interesting

My friend who is from China faced harassment from another student at this school, calling him multiple vulgar slurs everyday over the span of a few weeks. Absolute trash school to be honest. Not even exaggerating.

It’s a pretty good school if you’re going into a trade or an artsy kinda thing, if you want to go into uni it’s a little lacking but generally the school does what it’s required to. Most of the teachers are good at teaching, there is one teacher that is an absolute nightmare to learn from (wouldn’t answer questions, wouldn’t let us look it up, just put up a page to read on the board every class). The facilities (theater, several labs, gym, car workshop/classroom, metal & wood working equipment, ect.) are fairly good. Only large issue I had here was the students, if you are anything other than a straight, white, neurotypical “footy” dude or a straight, white, neurotypical “pick me” girl, then you are going to get bullied and not much will be done about it. I do not reccommend this school if your child is in any way different and can’t deal with/hasn’t dealt with bullying before.

Great staff. Fantastic facilities. Immense grounds. All you need Reception to Year 12.

Absolute garbage of a school, teachers (besides Mr. Evans, Mr. Walkley & Mrs. Borg) don’t try n help students nor care about their work, the bathrooms are legit just graffiti, I’ll admit, I have some wild memories from going to this school (thanks Mr. Goodwin for that) school doesn’t inform parents on important things. I’m moving from ccc to the avenues and I think that says a lot. unless u want your different (poc, queer, disabled ect) kid to be traumatized, have a high school dropout or Ur kid is a footy lad or a “baddie” I really don’t recommend it.
