I recently had by hair done by Claudia, she is such a talented hairstylist and so kind and professional. She talked everything through step by step. She was very thorough during the consultation to work out exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing job with my hair and absolutely perfected the colour and cut!! Definitely recommend Claudia!! I had very relaxing and joyful time at Etcher with Jade 🙂 She has such a great personality and people’s skills. She is very attentive and has great attention to detail (for instance she put an extra towel for padding underneath the head and the sink whilst the toner was left on, so that the head would be comfortable and not get numb/uncomfortable as it can get otherwise due to the weight of the head). It’s the little things that matter 🙂 She is also very gentle and delicate when handling the hair (combing and blow drying hair). I highly recommend Jade!

I went in today to get my hair trimmed and also to get long layers. The lady was very nice and made sure from the beginning that we were on the same page about the style that I was going for. I recently visited this salon for a blow dry with curls, expecting a professional and satisfying experience. Unfortunately, the service fell far below expectations.

Despite paying $60, the stylist seemed inexperienced with curly hair techniques. The curls lacked definition and didn’t hold their shape, leaving my hair looking frizzy and unkempt.

Considering the price point, I anticipated a higher level of expertise and care. This experience was not only disappointing but also felt like a waste of money. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and invests in better training for their staff to handle diverse hair types effectively.

Would never recommend going here for any of the hair services.

I got a haircut and slight trim of my fringe… all for $50! As a student, this place is so worth it and within my usual budget (most places near me are either $65-$75). The young man who cut my hair was super sweet during the whole process. He consulted with me about the style and length all throughout the process. The lady at the end gave me good advice on how to take care of my naturally wavy hair. As a bonus, this place is really beginner-friendly for those of us who are studying Korean (they complimented me as I tried to speak with them in their native language ). I’m DEFINITELY coming here again for my regular maintenance.

This is my second visit today. About 3months ago, I came in for a cut and perm, which still looks amazing, but I decided to pop in for a quick trim to freshen it up. Sejung(probably En name is Rola), this stylist is an absolute gem, her skills and talent deserve so much more recognition. Having been to several salons in Korea, where the standards are insanely high, I can confidently say she’s one of the best I’ve ever come across

When I got my perm, she only glanced at the reference photos twice, which made me a bit nervous at first. But somehow, with just those two looks, she nailed it!! Even better than the photos! My hair was tricky to work with, especially because I had a wolf cut before, with layers that were all over the place. But she handled it like a total pro.

If you’re into a similar style, do yourself a favour and book with her!! You won’t regret it. I’m moving away from this area soon, but honestly, if there’s one thing I could take with me, it’s Rola! Wishing all the best for her future!! she truly deserves it

Happy with the haircut, friendly and skilled staff and good price too. After the disaster of my previous haircut elsewhere, which was like an uninvited experiment gone wrong, the young woman at Oh Kim’s Hair Salon managed to undo the damage and give me a haircut I was happy with.

Tammi was lovely & gave me the best haircut of my life. The vibes here were just so nice, Brooke gave me a much needed head massage after a long day & the dogs were so cute I just moved from Sydney so finding a great hair salon with decent prices has made my day!!

I was only going to be in Adelaide for a short time so when I saw an open booking at Archie and Co I jumped at the chance. I went in with an idea in mind (and a reference picture) of exactly what I wanted. Tammi was able to deliver precisely that, honestly one of the best hairdressers I’ve ever been to. Tammi wasn’t overly chatty with me, but I didn’t really mind, the results she achieved spoke enough for themselves. There was a high level of efficiency, Tammi understood what I wanted straight away and was kind- most specifically about getting it right for me. Thanks so much.

Tammi did an INCREDIBLE transformation on my wife with the most incredible lift from super dark hair.
Cat also did an AMAZING job on my balayage. Both artists are super comfortable to chat with, Tammi matching my wife’s Chatty high energy with ease and Cat being super chill and friendly for my Low Social Battery that day. Lilly was also super nice and friendly when doing my wash, overall an extremely pleasant experience.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 10/10

I drive all the way from the Fleurieu peninsula just to have my hair done. You feel so welcome and the price is just right! Pleased to be a client for over three years.

First visit to Alec did not disappoint! He did an incredible job with my hair and made me feel welcome and amazing. The delicious coffee was a bonus. My hubby had his cut at the same time – we will both be back again!

Going to the barber as a European was a nightmare for me, I was fearing that moment so bad. I’ve been messed up 3 times by 3 different barbers in Australia, so I was just avoiding it.

But at some point you know, I had to get over my fear, accept my fate and get the shit done.
So I went, showed a picture of what I wanted, and I had expectations so low, to be honest, not surprised if I was getting out of here bald.

My only complaint is that on a few occasions I have booked with a specific stylist and then when I get to the salon someone else cuts my hair. Fortunately everyone here is competent so it hasn’t been a big issue, but I do believe if your stylist isn’t available you should be informed in advance so you have the option to reschedule without causing offence or an awkward situation.

I got the best haircut of my life today & I truly loved it. Usually when I leave a salon there is always one thing or the other which I couldn’t say or would have liked the other way, but today I had no complains. It was the first time that someone was so patient to actually explain to me on how I can take care of this new look (on their own). The staff was really friendly & nice, while the haircut looks so good + professionally done. The prices are decent for the kind of services they provide & saying this all, I have finally found my perfect hair cutters in Adelaide.

My wife and I have both had a haircut there we have both had excellent haircuts each time my wife had the Japanese lady last time and she was lovely, it’s a shame we had to go all the way from Port Lincoln to Adelaide to get a decent haircut, and we’ll go there every time we go to the city

Each time I go to the hair salon, I always wish for a longer shampoo and scalp massage. I saw an article in a magazine about salons that offer hair spas and this is one of them. I had the 90-minute deluxe hydrotherapy and steam mask treatment. It was delightful.

After changing into the gown, I got to lie flat on the bed. The hair therapist came in with the gentle sound of birds chirping on her phone.

The treatment started off with a gentle hair brushing which put me in such a relaxed state. After that was the scalp treatment which was massaged into my scalp. I struggle for details after as I was in a state of relaxed bliss.

I know that during the steam, I received a massage which could have been longer and it would have been nice if it included the entire arm and hand instead of just the upper arms.

The deluxe hair spa treatment was worth it. I will definitely be coming back. Give it a go if you want a relaxing experience with a different focus.

I was told that they are considering adding a facial to the hair spa treatment. I would definitely give that a go!

Came into Jorrells for the first time today wanting a colour, cut and health trim and they went above and beyond my expectations. I specifically asked for a cherry coke colour done on my already dyed hair so with no expectations Liv went ahead and gave me exactly what I had envisioned but better with such a vibrant red, done with no foils! As well as for my cut, I always get a shaggy long wolf cut done where it’s hard to find a hairdresser who knows shaggy but with no effort, Jo gave me exactly what I was after without taking much off my ends like requested but still getting rid of my nasty ends. Amazing experience with the team at Jorrells, they were so welcoming and made me feel like I had been a regular for years already! Getting my haircut here was honestly paying for a whole experience, such a beautiful place, the mix of scents and all the friendly faces that made you feel welcomed. Tam did a great job with highlighting, colouring, trimming, and straightening my hair — even though my hair is a bit difficult to handle. She listened carefully and knew exactly what I wanted. Lana also helped with the highlighting, and George was very kind to me. The vibes there were really nice, which is important when you’re there for a long service.

Very warm and welcoming shop. I stopped in because I would be in the area for an extended time and knew I would need color. I liked them right away and made a appt for two weeks later. Tam is a very experienced colorist and confidently took care of covering my gray growth among a color I decided was too dark and showed my gray too soon. Even though I love being darker it’s just not realistic for me to maintain. She took a lot of time evaluating my color and growth to come up with a great transition that looks natural. She also gave me a great layered cut for my long hair to frame my face and styled me very nicely. . I went back again before leaving town for a touch up on my new growth. Again, Tam is a great colorist and stylist and you are in good hands with her! Definitely will come back when I am in town again.

I made a last minute call today for my haircut and George was kind enough to find me a quick time slot. Tam did an amazing job with my long hair and asked my opinion at every appropriate stages. Final result : Beautiful layers and bangs! And a pretty smooth looking blow dried hairstyle. Everyone was friendly and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you George and team! ✨

My hair was so dry and grown out from living in the bush for 6 months, came here and had a 3/4 head highlights and cut. Best I’ve ever had. Lana did my hair so well it’s never felt or looked better. Such a transformation, in a lovely warm and welcoming salon. I would recommend to anyone.
