Jobs Statewide

I’m really thankful for the support I received through the Youth Activate program at Jobs Statewide. They didn’t just hand me information — they actually helped me feel confident about job interviews, gave me solid advice, and made sure I had everything I needed to start applying. The team was friendly, encouraging, and genuinely cared about helping me move forward. It made a big difference, and I really appreciate their effort.

The youth activate excursions are great. We went to the Adelaide oval, a warship building facility and trained Muay Thai at Real Gym. All trainers are cool and fun to talk to. Free food, mostly sandwiches every day. Days are 10 to 2. James is a silly goose.

I was part of the YOUTH ACTIVATE program. The opportunity and assistance I received were exceptional and the understanding of my limitations made me feel understood. The excursions to workplaces were enlightening!

I participated in the IGNITE HER program. At the start of the program I was very demotivated and upset. Now on day 3 of the program feeling very engaged and comfortable in this space, I have become friends with the girls who attend this class, an absolutely amazing class! I really enjoyed the time and people. Learnt so many things that really help me and others.

I recently completed the Youth Activate program. We had the opportunity to go to different places and learn about the types of jobs that they have. Our trainers, James and Tunde, were really fun to work with and helped us find job opportunities.

i attended Youth Activate at Jobs Statewide Adelaide this week and it was a great experience. James, Jye and Tunde are great people who have a genuine interest in helping people to thrive. they're funny, kind and very helpful. in just one week they have helped me land a job interview and a course in early childhood education. with Youth Activate i also got to see behind the scenes at Adelaide Oval and i got to see a warship/a warship being built at BAE systems. i also learnt Muay Thai at REAL Gym which is owned bye Jye - all very interesting and fun experiences! an overall very helpful and insightful experience, i enjoyed it and i am happy i did it i would recommend it to anybody needing a little help.

I loved youth activate it was amazing I love the fitness activity we did and the staffs here are awesome they are so friendly and welcoming they treat you like family I recommend you come to it it’s a lot of open opportunities for you to learn
