I am on holiday in Adelaide from Scotland & my friend recommended that I have a skin check as we don’t have such an absolutely important service back home.
I booked in not really knowing what to expect. Well with my pale, freckly skin it is the best thing I could have done.
A thorough check from my scalp to the soles of my feet & so much advice moving forward for self-care. Lots of photos of moles etc were taken with very clear explanations.
I cant remember the doctor’s name, Dr A, but I tell you it was worth travelling over 10,000 miles to be a patient in such a wonderful clinic with such a passionate & kind staff.
You are a real character Dr A, bless you, as you made the process as comforting as possible with such positive energy.
The chaperone was so understanding too, such a welcoming ethos despite the severity of the checks & subject matter.
When I return to Adelaide I will book a follow-up appointment & just wish it could be sooner.

I visited Skin Chex a few weeks ago to do my full skin check that I have been delaying for years. Doctor Martin and all the staff were very professional, respectful and polite. The doctor checked my skin from head to toe, unfortunately one of the moles turned out to be a malignant melanoma and required a biopsy. Doctor Martin was very gentle and the female doctor’s assistant was very caring and supportive. The doctor explained the whole process and answered all my questions very patiently and thoroughly. I highly recommend Skin Chex to everyone who wants to have peace of mind and the feeling to be in very good hands. Thank you Doctor Martin.

I had my first consultation with Dr Martin recently and he was absolutely wonderful! He listened to my areas of concern and checked those first before examining every other spot or mole on my body....and I have heaps! He was very patient and did not rush the process, explaining everything as he went along. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease that I may have accidentally dozed off for a few seconds at one point Cannot recommend Dr Martin enough, he really was very professional and welcoming. His assistant Sue was equally as welcoming and made me feel very comfortable throughout my examination. Thank you!
